Introduction:

We live in a modern world where we need to identify ourselves when we deal with any government or private institutions. We need to mention our date of birth, father’s name or husband’s name along with a proof; else our application will be rejected. Similarly if we need to enter into the kingdom of God we must have been born again. The word of God should confirm or vindicate us whether we are truly born again, and in which age or period we were born of God. It is very essential for us to make sure of it. If we decide that we need not know about it then we cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

The first and the main doctrine of Jesus Christ is “A man must be born again.” What is New Birth? How can we be born again? Why New Birth is needed? Let us meditate these things based on the word of God.

I. What is New Birth?

New Birth is to receive the Holy Spirit which is God’s own Life. All the following spiritual terms represent the experience of the New Birth.

II. What is not New Birth?

a. New Birth is not just getting converted to Christianity or joining a denominational church:

In today’s Christianity there are many people who are not truly repented. Christianity is not a religion but it is Christ. Those who have Christ are Christians and not all those who claim to be Christians. For example, Ahab, even though he was a king of Israel, he supported idol worship, he killed the prophets of the Lord and he was a slave to his wife Jezebel in following her own commandments against the word of God (I Kings 18:18). Herod was the king of the Jews and he modified the temple of God beautifully. But he had his brother’s wife (Mark 6:18). He killed many apostles. Similarly, those who call themselves Christians and are not actually, are full of evil habits and evil nature. They also deny the word of God and stand against the true Holy Spirit of God. These are not truly repented. Without repentance, how can they be born again? These people are of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie (Rev 3:9). “For they are not all www.calvarytabernacle.in 4

Israel, which are of Israel” (Romans 9:6) says Saint Paul. Therefore, not all who claim themselves as Christians are Christians.

b. New Birth is not moving from one denomination to another and being more religious:

Cain was more religious. He built a beautiful altar to the Lord and brought forth the first fruits of the land. He worshipped God with more sincerity. But God did not accept Cain and his offering (Genesis 4:5). Cain did not understand the word of God or in other words he did not have the revelation of God. He did not know the truth that it is only under the shed blood that God meets the worshipper. Because sin came through the blood and the justice of God is, life should be given for life (Exodus 21:23). The life of the flesh is in the blood: for it is the blood that make an atonement for the soul (Leviticus 17:11). To meet God or to have fellowship with Him there should be an atonement between God and the worshipper. They had fellowship with God through the blood of lamb until the precious blood of Christ, the true Lamb of God was shed. God gave this revelation to Abel. The word of God says By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts (Hebrews 11:4). Faith means revelation. By revelation Abel brought a right sacrifice. So God accepted Abel and his sacrifice. He sent fire upon his sacrifice. There was no blood in the sacrifice brought by Cain. So there was no atonement. He did not have the revelation given by God. Therefore God rejected Cain and his sacrifice. God did not send fire upon his sacrifice. His worship was a vain worship. But God gave him an opportunity to bring the right sacrifice, but Cain rejected that offer. Same way, God gives opportunity to all, to accept his doctrine but they reject God’s doctrine and follow their own traditions and man-made dogmas and subject themselves to man’s leadership instead of God.

Scribes and Pharisees who lived during the days of Jesus Christ were more religious as Cain was. They were ready scribes in the Law of Moses. But they cannot believe in Christ when He manifested in the flesh before their eyes and lived in their midst fulfilling the scriptures. They did not have the revelation of Christ. Therefore, did Jews’ religiousness bring them New Birth? No. Their worship was a vain worship (Matthew 15:9). Similarly, even today many Christians are very religious but they deny the revealed word of God. They deceive themselves thinking that they are born again. Saint Paul says “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away” (II Timothy 3:5).

c. New Birth is not we ourselves reforming us:

Some people make a new resolution and may try to live a proper life. That is good, but temporary. For example, Peter decided not to deny the Lord. But he denied Jesus three times that same night. He was not born again then. Jesus had said unto him "when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren" (Luke 22:32). Therefore New Birth is God dwelling in a man as Holy Spirit and taking away from his heart the desire to do sin. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God (I John 3:9)

d. Just being religious is not New Birth:

Many think that those who read the Bible and pray daily and who have an interest in the Lord’s ministry are born again. Reading the Bible, praying and doing Lord a ministry are very essential for a Christian life. Every Christian must do these things. But one can be without the New Birth while doing all these things. For instance, Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures. This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. But he was not baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. He was without Holy Spirit even though he was a believer. New birth is receiving the Holy Spirit, the very life of God. So, Aquila and Priscilla took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly (Acts 18:24 - 26).

e. Speaking tongues is not the evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost:

Some people say “We speak in tongues and therefore we have received the Holy Ghost.” Speaking tongues is the least gift of the Holy Ghost. That is the ninth gift. It is not a sign of receiving the Holy Ghost. Holy Ghost means Christ. But speaking tongues is a small gift given by God. But to possess the Lord himself is the baptism of the Holy Ghost and that is the true sign of receiving the Holy Ghost. It is the Holy Spirit which guides that person into all truth. If a man cannot believe the truth revealed by God, we can surely say that there is no Holy Ghost in him even though he speaks much in tongues. Balaam had the gift of prophecy. His prophecy was absolutely correct. But he was not a man of God. His doctrine was wrong (Revelation 2:14). Similarly, Caiaphas’ prophecy was correct (John 11:49 – 52). But he persuaded Pilate, the governor to crucify Jesus Christ (John 19:15, 16). These were ministers who were not born again even though they had the gift of the Spirit. Jesus Christ had said as a prophecy that there will be more ministers of this kind in the last days. “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:22, 23).

III. Natural Birth Vs Spiritual Birth

To be born of a father and mother is natural birth. This is our first birth. This birth will not take us to the kingdom of God. If this birth can take us to God and His kingdom then there is no need of the New Birth. Our first birth is of flesh. It is sin birth. It is of sex. King David said “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me” (Psalm 51:5). Every child born in this world is born in sin, shaped in iniquity and come to the world speaking lies. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Therefore, due to sin birth we cannot receive the Spirit of God and we cannot enter into the kingdom of God as well. Sin birth takes a man to hell, judgment and the lake of fire, the second death. Lord Jesus Christ says “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire www.calvarytabernacle.in 6

and brimstone: which is the second death” (Revelation 21:8). Therefore, we need to be born again if we want to escape all these things and enter into the kingdom of God and live with him eternally.

We, born of father and mother naturally the first time, must be born of God second time and that is New birth. God is Spirit (John 4:24). God is Word (John 1:1, 14). When we believe Jesus Christ and humble our soul submitting it to His word then He comes and dwell in us in spirit form and guide us into all truth (John 16:13). This is the experience of being born of the Spirit. New birth takes place when our soul is united with the word of God as one (I Corinthians 6:17). This is also called the Spiritual Marriage Union. New birth is not possible when our soul is against the revealed word of God.

For instance, Jesus entered into the house of Zacchaeus and said “This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham” (Luke 19:9). Though Zacchaeus was already a Jew and a son of Abraham by natural birth what does it mean when Jesus said he is also a son of Abraham? He was a natural son of Abraham before he believed Jesus, confessed his sins and accepted him. But now he is the spiritual son of Abraham by faith. The word of God says “Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham” (Galatians 3:7). But when the Scribes and Pharisees claimed themselves as the children of Abraham, Jesus said unto them “Ye are of your father the devil” (John 8:39, 44). So what does it mean? Are they not the children of Abraham? They were the children of Abraham by natural birth. But spiritually they were the children of the devil as they were against the doctrine of Jesus Christ. They were not born again. It is right when Jesus said they are the serpent seeds.

IV. Doctrine of New Birth in the Old Testament

There was only one birth in the Old Testament. That is to be born naturally in Abraham’s generation. New birth is a thing happening in the New Testament. Old Testament saints could not get the experience of the New Birth because it is possible only through the cross of Calvary. But it was revealed in their life as examples and types.

a. Born by Flesh Vs Born by Spirit:

Jesus Christ said unto Nicodemus “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Cannot see means cannot understand. A carnal man who has not received the Spirit of God cannot understand God or his word or spiritual truth. For they are foolishness unto him (I Corinthians 2:14). Nicodemus did not understand anything when Jesus spoke to him about New Birth. So he asked Jesus “How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?” Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? (John 3: 4, 10)

Nicodemus was in the doctrine of Law as per Old Testament. The Law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things (Hebrews 10:1). The Law is earthly and natural. But the New Testament is spiritual. Since the Old Testament speaks about the New Birth in shadows and prophecies (Ezekiel, Joel) Nicodemus could not understand clearly the spiritual truth www.calvarytabernacle.in 7

about New Birth. Therefore he said unto Jesus “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?”

b. The Holy Ghost came upon them but did not dwell in them:

The blood of Jesus Christ alone can cleanse all sin. The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (I John 1:7). The Holy Ghost can come and dwell in us only if the sin is taken away. The Old Testament covenant is of the blood of bulls and goats. The blood of bulls and goats cannot take away the sins. It cannot make the worshipper perfect. It cannot take away the conscience of sin and the desire to do sin (Hebrews 10:1 – 4). It was a temporary way given to cover the sins. As the sin is not taken away, the Holy Ghost just came upon the Old Testament saints but did not come and dwell in them.

It is written in the Bible that the Spirit of the Lord came upon Samson (Judges 14:6), the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah (Judges 11:29), the Spirit of God came upon Elisha (II Kings 2:15) and so on. The Holy Ghost dwelling in a man is New Birth. Therefore Old Testament saints cannot receive the experience of the New Birth. So the dead Old Testament saints have to wait in a place called Paradise until the blood of Christ, the true Lamb is shed. After the blood of Christ was shed, their sins were taken away and Christ delivered them from Paradise. They came out of the graves after His resurrection (Matthew 27:52, 53) and entered into the kingdom of God along with Him (Ephesians 4:8 – 10).

c. Circumcision:

In the Old Testament, every man child in the generation of Abraham should be circumcised (Genesis 17:11, 12). Circumcision is a shadow of the New Birth. Inheritance in the promised land of Canaan is only for the circumcised (Joshua 5:2). David who was circumcised knew that there is no right for Goliath, the uncircumcised Philistine in the Promised Land. That’s why he said “who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” (I Samuel 17:26). Since David was very determined in that revelation, God gave the Philistine in his hand. In the New Testament, circumcision which is outward in the flesh is not circumcision but the circumcision of the heart in the Spirit (Romans 2:28, 29).

d. Adoption:

Adoption in the Old Testament is a type of the New Birth. When a son is born in a family the father gives him in the hands of a tutor when he attains the age of discerning good and evil. The tutor teaches him and trains him to handle all his father’s business and responsibilities. When he is well trained and ready, the tutor gives a good testimony of him to his lord. The tutor says “Your son has a good nature like you have. He is able to handle things wisely and skillfully. He can be adopted.” Then the father fix a day and call his family, relatives and all that is there in his farm and arrange a ceremony of Adoption. On that day, he cloth his son with a special raiment and set him on a high place and adopt him saying “He is my son. I am adopting him. Henceforth he will handle all my business. Hear ye him.” From that day onwards the son becomes the heir of all things that the father www.calvarytabernacle.in 8

had (Galatians 4:1 – 4). Lord Jesus Christ was the son of God. He was transfigured on a high mountain when He was with his disciples Peter, James and John. And His raiment was white as the light. A bright cloud overshadowed Him. And there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with Him. Then there was a voice out of the cloud which said “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him” (Matthew 17:1 – 5). This incident reveals the Adoption of Jesus Christ.

But if a man even though he is born as a son naturally, if he is disobedient to the tutor and does not come to maturity then he will not receive the adoption. Esau did not receive the adoption even though he was the first born of Isaac the forefather. “Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears” warns the word of God (Hebrews 12:16, 17). But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons (Galatians 4:4, 5). We should receive the adoption in the same way Jesus Christ received it. That is New Birth.

e. Sabbath:

Sabbath in the Old Testament is also a type of the New Birth. They appointed the seventh day of the week as the Sabbath and dedicated it to the Lord without doing any work on that day. It brought them a physical rest. But New Birth brings us a soul rest. When we humble ourselves to the doctrine or word of God and dedicate ourselves, we receive the soul rest and are delivered from the sin works.

Jesus said "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11: 28 – 30). Today, Jesus Christ is not in flesh form. He is the Revealed Word. Therefore, we can receive the rest only if we turn to the word and dedicate our lives to the word. Only Jesus Christ can give that rest.

f. Prophecy:

The Old Testament prophets expected the spiritual experience of the New Birth. Only Messiah the Christ could bring it forth. Since Christ did not come in their age they prophesied about New Birth. For example, the prophet Ezekiel had said “Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them” (Ezekiel 36: 25-27). These prophetic scriptures are fulfilled in our New Birth.

Since the Jews rejected Christ and crucified him, God stopped His dealing with Jews and choose a people for his name out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation who are not Jews (Acts 15:14). They receive the experience of the New Birth. Let us also see in detail how the elected people in the New Testament receive New Birth.

V. Why we must be Born Again?

If Adam and Eve had not sinned then there is no need of New birth. Just because our first birth is a sin birth we need to be born again. Therefore there is a need to know how sin entered into the human race.

a. Born of creation:

This world was created by the spoken word of God. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:3). God is Spirit and he created the first man Adam as a spirit man by his spoken word. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis 1:27). For the spirit man to have contact with the earth, God formed a body of five senses (to touch, to taste, to see, to smell and to hear) out of the dust of the ground. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7). God said “It is not good that the man should be alone” (Genesis 2:18). So God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and separated the feminine spirit from him and created his wife Eve with his flesh and bone. God united them as husband and wife and blessed them (Genesis 2: 21 – 24). Therefore, the Lord God brought forth His children by creation. They don’t have sickness, old age or death. They ruled the nature by their word. They can stop the wind from blowing, they can command a mountain to be moved from one place to another, and they can command the beasts and they will obey. Everything was under their dominion (Psalm 8: 4 – 8). They were in fellowship with God.

The Lord God had kept two trees in the midst of the garden of Eden. One was the Tree of Life and the other was the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:9). It is written as a metaphor depicting Christ as the Tree of Life and Satan as the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. Both the God of justice and the wicked one were in Eden. The Bible says “Thou (Satan) hast been in Eden the garden of God” (Ezekiel 28:13). Christ is the word. Man should live by the tree of life else he should choose the tree of knowledge and live by knowledge. He gets Eternal Life from the tree of life and tree of knowledge leads to death. The Lord said “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:17).

Adam and Eve should reproduce themselves by the Spoken Word as God created the world with his Spoken Word. That was God’s way and His Perfect Will. Reproduction by sex is not God’s perfect will. It is the Permissive Will of God.

b. How was Eve deceived by the Serpent?

The Serpent was in the likeness of man which can stand with its two legs and can speak (Gen 3:1). It was like a servant to Adam. The difference between a man and an animal is, man has a soul but animals don’t have a soul. Only God can dwell in man’s soul. Satan cannot dwell in a man’s soul but Satan can www.calvarytabernacle.in 11

enter into a beast. After losing the divine nature, man is being born in sin and so Satan can enter even into a man and dwell in him.

Therefore, Satan entered into the serpent to deceive Eve. So the serpent became subtil and lustful and deceived Eve. Saint Paul says “the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty” (II Corinthians 11:2). Eve listened to the serpent disbelieving God’s word and was beguiled by the serpent. She had a physical union with the serpent. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat (Genesis 3:6). In this way she took part in the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Adam also fell into transgression listening to Eve. This is the www.calvarytabernacle.in 12

Original Sin. Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness (Proverbs 30:20). In this verse, the word “eat” is being used to denote physical union or to know physically. First the serpent knew Eve. Then Adam knew Eve. So there were twins (Cain and Abel) because of these unions. Abel was the son of Adam, Adam was the son of God (Luke 3:38). Cain was of that wicked one (I John 3:12). (See image 1).

c. Aprons of fig leaves:

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons (Genesis 3:7). They knew they were naked after eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They both were naked even before eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil but they did not know that. This means they can’t see each other with lust as they were veiled with the holiness of the Holy Spirit. The holiness of God kept their eyes veiled. It is written “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed” (Genesis 2:25). But after sin that veil was no more there. And they knew they were naked. The word of God says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). They sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons to cover their nakedness. But it was not enough. It was not a modest dress to stand in the presence of God. So Adam cannot come and stand before God when He called him. They hid themselves among the trees of the garden. Then God sacrificed each one of them a lamb and made them coats of skins to cover their nakedness and stand before Him. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them (Genesis 3:21).

Fig leaves represent the man-made religion, dogma and denomination. Nakedness represents sin. Religion means covering. Therefore one cannot approach the presence of God through a religion or a denomination. The blood of the lamb sacrificed in Eden represents the precious blood of Christ, the true Lamb and the skin of that lamb represents the righteousness of God. Therefore, to approach God, our sins should be forgiven by His blood (I Peter 1:19) and we should be clothed with His righteousness (II Corinthians 5:21). This is the spiritual revelation we see here.

d. God cursed the serpent:

And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life (Genesis 3:14). God cursed serpent. God did not say unto the serpent “because thou has said this” He said “because thou has done this” so it is very clear that the serpent has misbehaved with Eve. Since the serpent gave place to Satan to deceive Eve, God cut down the hands and legs of the serpent and changed its structure as a rope and it became a reptile (animals that crawl or creep). Without hands and legs now it cannot walk through here and there and live as it wishes. Not only that, God took away its ability to speak and now it can just make a sound sssssh… sssssh. God completely changed its shape and structure. So, now it is called snake instead of being called the serpent. It was serpent before sin. God changed it as a snake after sin.

God increased the order of creation progressively and finally created man as the highest order of His creation. He created man in His own image. Only man was given a soul. Many years back when doctors www.calvarytabernacle.in 13

did a research on the human heart they found that there was a vacuum (a space not filled or occupied) as a dot in the center of the heart. But they say there is no such vacuum found in any of the animals. Therefore, their opinion is that vacuum or the empty space should be the dwelling place of the soul. There is no soul for animals. The serpent was a beast in the likeness of man (Genesis 3:1). It was the highest order of beasts. It was turned into a snake when God cursed it. So the scientist Darwin was not able to find the missing link between man and chimpanzee. It was his own theory that man evolved from chimpanzees. Man did not evolve from ape. It was Darwin’s erroneous statement. Darwin could not prove his theory. Scriptural truth is God created man as a man.

e. The birth of Cain:

Therefore, sin entered into the world through lust (II Peter 1:4). Thereafter, children were born of sex through woman. Eve brought forth twins, Cain was of the serpent and Abel was of Adam. Cain was of that wicked one. The word of God says Cain is a serpent seed (Genesis 3:15). Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother (I John 3:12). These scriptures clearly say that Cain was not the son of Adam and his father was the Serpent overpowered by Satan. Eve said “I have gotten a man from the Lord” (Genesis 4:1) which means God permitted Cain to be formed in Eve’s womb. The Lord says “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things” (Isaiah 45:7). Nobody can be born in the world without God’s permission. Sinners are born by the permissive will of God.

f. Cain was not the son of Adam: i. The Bible says Adam was the son of God (Luke 3:38). He had the attributes of God. If Cain was the son of Adam he should have had the nature of Adam. But contrary to that, Cain was a man who had the nature of Satan and the beast. Satan is a liar. He is a murderer. There is no truth in him (John 8:44). All these natures were in Cain because he was the serpent seed. Son of Satan. Cain was a murderer who killed his brother Abel. He killed Abel and did lie to God saying “Am I my brother's keeper?” (Genesis 4:9). Also there was no truth in him. He did not have the revelation of how God meets a sinner. Like Satan, he cannot repent. Even though God said unto him “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?” (Genesis 4:7) Cain did not want to do good or repent or obey the word of God. ii. Cain’s genealogy is written in Genesis chapter 4 and Adam’s genealogy is written in Genesis chapter 5. It is not written there that Adam begat Cain. It is only written “And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth” (Genesis 5:3). Therefore it is proved that Cain was not the son of Adam. iii. Christ did not come in Cain’s generation. He came in the generation of Seth, the son of Adam. Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God (Luke 3:38). As Cain was not the son of Adam, Christ could not come in his generation. iv. In Genesis chapter 4, those who were born in Cain’s generation were murderers and polygamists (Genesis 4:23). As they were not the sons of Adam, the son of God, they did not have the nature of God. Contrarily, they expressed the nature of Satan their father. As Satan was the tree of knowledge, the www.calvarytabernacle.in 14

generation of Cain were skilled in architecture and craftsmanship (Genesis 4:17, 21). But the children of Adam were shepherds like his father Adam. v. Finally, It is written Eve was the mother of all living. And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living (Genesis 3:20). It is not written that Adam was the father of all living. After Cain killed Abel there were two generations in the world. One was Cain’s generation. We read it in Genesis chapter 4. They were called sons of men and daughters of men. Another one is the generation of Seth. It is written in Genesis chapter 5. Eve was the mother of both these generations. But Adam was not the father of Cain’s generation. Adam was the father of Seth’s generation alone. That generation is called generations of Adam (Genesis 5:1, 3). We see Enoch as the seventh and Noah as the tenth in this generation only (Genesis 5:18, 29). These were called sons of God and daughters of God. Therefore, God’s word testifies that Cain was the serpent seed (Genesis 3:15) and he was of that wicked one. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother (I John 3:12).

g. Why did the flood come?

In Genesis chapter 6 we see these two generations got mixed up. So God destroyed the world by flood as the holy seed was mixed up with Cain’s generation and there was not a holy generation left for God. That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years (Genesis 6:2, 3).

Adam and Eve were driven out of the garden of Eden when they sinned (Genesis 3:24). They were separated from God because of sin. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). Death means eternal separation from God. Adam fell from grace to sin. He fell from Eternal Life to death. When Adam fell from grace and Eternal Life he brought death to the whole mankind and all living things that were under his dominion. From that day, instead of living by faith in the word of God man started to live by knowledge which is against the word of God (Faith Vs Knowledge).

Our first birth was of a woman. The word of God says “Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble” (Job 14:1). This birth will end in death. Therefore, we must be born again (born of Christ) in order to receive Eternal Life.

VI. Only Jesus Christ can give New Birth

God is Eternal Spirit. He neither has a beginning nor an end. He is Omnipotent. He knows all things from the beginning till the end. He is infinite. No man hath seen God at any time (John 1:18).

He is invisible God because He is in Spirit form (John 4:24). Then the WORD (Logos) came out of God. That was the Theophany body of the invisible God. The heaven and the earth and all things therein are created by that WORD (Theophany Body). In the Old Testament that WORD is called Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Cloud, The Rock and The Angel of the Lord. He can appear as well as disappear. Two thousand years back the God who was the WORD, created a body for himself in the womb of the virgin Mary. That www.calvarytabernacle.in 15

WORD became flesh. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth (John 1:1, 14). Therefore, God manifested in flesh. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh (I Timothy 3:16). He is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Sin entered into the world through woman and therefore salvation also comes through woman. God has promised that the seed of the woman will bruise the head of the serpent (Genesis 3:15). Jesus Christ is that seed of the woman. Actually woman has no seed. But she was given a seed. That is the blood cell created by God in the womb of Mary. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (Isaiah 14:7). Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:23). These scriptures were fulfilled when Jesus Christ was born. Christ’s birth was a holy virgin birth. It was not of flesh. It was by the Word. When Mary believed the word of God, God created a body for himself in the womb of Mary. He created both the Sperm and the Egg. God created a body around his life. Therefore Mary is not the mother of God, the Eternal Spirit. She was only a vessel bearing God’s life.

When He was born He was called the Son of God. He was the express image of God (Hebrews 1:3). For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9). The attributes of God like Father, Son, Holy Ghost, Creator, Saviour, Redeemer, Deliverer, Healer, Holy One, Priest, Prophet, Shepherd, Mediator, Lord, Judge and the divine nature like Love, Patience, Humility, Peace, Meekness, Faith, Goodness, Mercy were dwelling in Him in fulness. Invisible God became a visible God in Jesus. When He lived in the world for thirty three and a half years He lived a sinless life without any lie. He did manifest all the attributes and divine nature of God mentioned above. He proved himself as God. This is the true God, and eternal life (I John 5:20). (See image 2).

Saint Paul says “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” (Hebrews 1:1, 2). In this scripture, ‘time past’ represents the Old Testament period. ‘At sundry times and diverse manners’ means little by little and in various types. The term ‘fathers’ represent the Old Testament Saints. ‘Spoken unto us’ means revealed unto us. ‘These last days’ represent the days when Jesus lived. It was the end time of the Old Testament. Therefore, the meaning of these two verses is, in the Old Testament period God revealed His attributes and divine nature little by little and in various types in the life of His prophets and in their words and at the end time of the Old Testament period revealed himself completely in His Son. Son represents the body God created for himself. We understand that Jesus is the body of God as it is mentioned “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person” in the next verse (Hebrews 1:3). Through Abraham: God revealed what is faith through the life of Abraham the prophet in the Old Testament. Even though he was a hundred years old and his wife Sarah ninety years old, he believed that God is able to perform what he had promised. He believed that God cannot lie. He believed God will raise Isaac from the dead as he had promised “I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven”. He believed that God’s word will come to pass surely. Not only that but also when he offered Isaac as a sacrifice unto God, the Angel of the Lord stopped him saying “Lay not thine hand upon the lad”. Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw a ram in that mount. There is no chance for a ram to live there in the top of the mountain. If it is so then how the ram came there? The fact is, God created a ram for him. Abraham took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering instead of his son (Genesis 22:12, 13). www.calvarytabernacle.in 17

This scene reveals the truth that God will create Himself a body and manifest in the world and will be offered up for us. That is fulfilled in Christ.

Through Joseph: God revealed his attribute in the life of the Prophet Joseph. Joseph was a spiritual person. God revealed him his future through a dream. His brothers were jealous of him. They sold him for twenty pieces of silver. He was a slave in Egypt. But the Lord was with him. He was falsely accused and was cast into a prison. He interpreted Pharaoh’s dream by the Spirit of God and was raised as a ruler of Egypt. Then during the time of famine his brothers came to Egypt to buy corn and gave obeisance to him without knowing he was their brother. Joseph’s dream was fulfilled. Then Joseph revealed himself to them. His life is a prophecy too. It was a type of the things that will happen in God’s life when he is manifested in the flesh. Joseph was a perfect type of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ did that which is pleasing in the sight of the Father when he came into the world. He had signs and wonders. Scribes and Pharisees hated Him because of jealousy. Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. They crucified Him and put Him to an open shame. Yet on the third day He resurrected from the dead conquering death, hell and the grave. He came as the Holy Spirit on the fiftieth day and is leading the church cherishing it. He will reveal himself to the 1, 44,000 Jews in the period of tribulation through the message of the two witnesses. Therefore Joseph’s life was a prophecy. It was fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Likewise, all the prophets revealed God in a portion. But Jesus Christ alone revealed God completely or perfectly. Therefore He is the true God, and Eternal Life (I John 5:20).

Jesus Christ not only revealed God perfectly but also purged our sins. It is written “when he had by himself purged our sins” (Hebrews 1:3). The blood of Jesus Christ is God’s own blood (Acts 20:28). The Life of God is in His blood. That blood was shed on the cross of Calvary for our sins as a ransom for redemption. “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (I Peter 1:18, 19). The Original Sin in Eden was not because of eating a fruit of a tree. We saw it was a blood related sin. For the life of the flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11). Thou shalt give life for life (Exodus 21:23). It was the justice of the Law. Jesus Christ purchased that righteousness for us by the blood He shed on the cross of Calvary (II Corinthians 5:21). In the Old Testament, when the animals were sacrificed, the life in their blood cannot come into a believer as there is no soul for them. That kind of sacrifice was given to them as a Substitute until Christ manifest in the flesh and shed His blood as a sacrifice. But when the precious blood of Christ is shed, the life in His blood will come into a believer and give him the New Birth.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus Christ died for our sins and was buried and resurrected on the third day conquering death, hell and Satan. Therefore only Jesus Christ can forgive our sins. No man has the power to forgive sins. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). Man was separated from God when he did sin. There emerged a wide and deep chasm between man and God. The man crossed the chasm and stood on the side of death. There was no way for him to come back to his original state. Man was the son of God before he sinned and crossed the chasm. He was the offspring of God. The whole earth was his possession. He had the dominion over nature. He spoke and created. He was a creator. He was the seed of God.

But he lost his sonship as soon as he crossed the chasm. He became a sinner in his nature. He came under the hands and the dominion of Satan. God accepted the chemical of the blood through sacrifice. But the blood of bulls and goats did not take away sin (Hebrews 10:4). It just covered sin. If you see a red spot in my hand and if I cover it with a white color, the red spot is still there. liquid bleach from heaven to take away the sin. That is the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. When we confess our sins, the sin falls into the liquid bleach of God and is taken away completely. It cannot be seen again. There will be no more remembrance of sin against him. He then crosses the great chasm by the blood of Jesus Christ. Now he can have a complete fellowship with the Father standing on the other side of the chasm. His stains of sin cannot be seen anywhere. Now he is free. Hallelujah! That red ink is broken by the liquid bleach and it cannot be made red again. Similarly, confessed sin of a man or a woman is broken completely when it is washed in the blood of Jesus Christ leaving no sign or indication of the sin. Then the chasm is closed and there is no more remembrance of his sin. After that, he is accepted as a justified son of God. When sin is plunged in the blood of Jesus Christ, all the molecules of sin reaches Satan and stay on him until the Day of Judgment. Satan will be cast into the lake of fire on that day.

When Moses said “Let there be frogs”, there were frogs. When he said “Let there be flies”, there were flies. Before Moses spoke the word it was the mind of God. It was revealed as a word when it was spoken. So it was God’s word that Moses spoke. It came through the lip of a simple man who was under the blood of bulls and goats.

“If the blood of bulls and goats which cannot take away sin but can only cover it can keep a man in a position to speak the creative word of God and make him create the flies, how much more can the Blood of Jesus Christ which can completely take away sin can bring the works of creation when a man speaks the word of God.” So Jesus Christ has said “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23).

Getting in emotion for Abraham Lincoln:

Once, Bro. Branham was standing in a museum in America. He happened to see an old Negro man who was looking at something kept in a little glass cage. And all at once the Negro man stepped back, jumped and closed his eyes and was started praying. Bro. Branham walked up to that Negro and said “I'm a minister. What made you jump back and say that prayer that you were praying?” That man said “Come here and see into that glass cage”. Bro. Branham said “I don’t see anything but a dress.” The man said “You see that stain on there?” Bro. Branham said, "Yes, sir." He said, "There's a mark of a slave belt around me." He also said, "That's the blood of Abraham Lincoln. And the blood of that man laying there took a slave belt off of me and delivered me and that’s why am excited to see that blood.”

Bro. Branham raised his hand and said, "God, how I thank You. If a colored man could jump at the thoughts of Abraham Lincoln's blood from taking a slave belt from him, how much more a Christian should be excited and filled with joy for the Blood of Jesus Christ, Who took away his stains of sin and delivered him from the bondage of death and sin.”

Looking red through red makes white. When God looks at our scarlet red sins through the Blood of Jesus Christ he sees us white as snow. The word of God says “though your sins be as scarlet, they www.calvarytabernacle.in 20

shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18). God is not looking for the blood but the life of the blood. It is in His Revealed Word.

Christ died for our sins, resurrected on the third day, appeared unto many for a period of forty days and then ascended up to heaven. On the fiftieth day, He returned in the form of the Holy Ghost into His disciples who were waiting in the upper room. The God who was with them in the flesh now came into their flesh. “which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). They were having the life of Christ. That is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. That is New Birth. Therefore we understand that only Lord Jesus Christ can give the New Birth.

VII. How Jesus Christ gives New Birth?

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12, 13). This scripture reveals as to how we can be born of God. Jesus said “I am come in my Father's name” (John 5:43). Therefore the name of the Father is the Lord Jesus Christ. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). His name represents His Word too. “and his name is called The Word of God” (Revelation 19:13). Jesus is the Word (John 1:1). When we believe His word we believe Jesus Christ. When we accept His word we accept him. If we do not believe His word then we are rejecting Jesus Christ. Sin is unbelief. Therefore Jesus says when we believe His name and His word and obey then we are born of God.

VIII. New Birth in the Early Apostolic Age

On the day of Pentecost, Peter was filled with the Holy Ghost and said unto them “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38). This is what the early apostolic doctrine is. Receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost is the New Birth. Therefore if a man want to be born again or if he want to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, he should repent and come out of the Jewish or pagan religions and should believe the apostolic doctrine given by Peter and Paul and should be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then God is obligated to fill that person with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Those who are called by the Lord will obey this word and will receive the Holy Ghost which is promised. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts 2:39). Saint Paul says unto the church of Ephesus “after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise” (Ephesians 1:13). The doctrine of the early apostolic church is the Original Doctrine. They believed One God. They baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. They did not organize a denomination. They were led by the Holy Ghost. Those who believed and obeyed their doctrine received the Holy Spirit. Or we can say they were born again. Apostolic doctrine is a perfect doctrine given by the apostles. We read that in the book of Acts and in the epistles. Paul was very determined that the doctrine he said was revealed by God. That’s why he said unto the churches of Galatia “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto www.calvarytabernacle.in 21

you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:8,9).

IX. New Birth in the Church Ages

After the days of the apostles, the doctrines of men started entering into the churches instead of the word of God. First it started as the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, and then it developed as the doctrine of Balaam and was finished as the doctrine of Jezebel (Revelation 2:6, 14 & 20). Therefore God allotted a specific Message for each Age. The message given to the church ages was part word. We can see that in the book of Revelation chapter 2 and 3. Those were the direct words of Jesus Christ after His resurrection to His disciple John on the island of Patmos. As it was a part word given, Jesus Christ did the intercessory ministry or the work of a mediator during the Seven Church Ages. He did forgive the ignorance of the church age saints by bringing them under His blood. God accepted their faith and by His grace gave them the Holy Ghost to receive the experience of the New Birth.

God chose Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea the seven churches in Asia (Revelation 1:11) and sent a specific message to each church through a messenger or an angel, as the spiritual condition of those churches were a type of the seven church ages that are to come in the future. They were earthly angels. The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches (Revelation 1:20). The period given to each church age is as follows: Ephesus (53 - 170), Smyrna (170 – 312), Pergamos (312 – 606), Thyatira (606 – 1520), Sardis (1520 – 1750), Philadelphia (1750 – 1906) and Laodicea (1906 - ). The seven angels of the seven churches are Paul, Irenaeus, Martin, Columba, Luther, Wesley and Branham respectively. In the period when these angels lived, there was no other minister who did a greater ministry than these angels did. These angels received the Revelation of the Word for their church age directly from God. That Revelation brought the New Birth to the respective church age.

In the image 4, the moon represents the church. The beginning and the ending period of each church age is also mentioned. The stars represent the angel or messenger of each age. Those who are ordained to Eternal Life come in the light of the respective star and believe the Promised Word for their age. Those were the people of the white portion. Those were the born again Christians. Those who did not come into the light of the star are the people of the dark portion. They were rejecting the Promised Word for their age. The darkness of sin, unbelief and denomination surrounds them. The spirit of Anti- Christ works among them. They will go into condemnation.

There were four Living Creatures round about the throne of God. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle (Revelation 4:7). A river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads (Genesis 2:10 - 13). Similarly, the river of the Holy Ghost, the living water came out of God parted into four and brought the Life of Christ to the elected people that belong to the period of the first four seals. To receive the Life of Christ is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. That is the New Birth. Those who do not receive that life cannot overcome the challenge of Satan for www.calvarytabernacle.in 22

that hour. Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts (Zechariah 4:6). We can see those seals in the image 4. The spiritual explanation of them is as follows:

First Seal: And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer (Revelation 6:1, 2)

The first three church ages Ephesus, Smyrna and Pergamos come under the first seal. Satan was riding on a white horse in that period. He had a bow but no arrow. Therefore he is a bluff. The horse www.calvarytabernacle.in 23

represents power and white represents holiness and righteousness. Therefore, during the first seal Satan was with Religious power showing himself as a saint but deceived the souls. A crown was given unto him. Satan was the spirit of Anti-Christ at first. When they nominated a man as a leader, a crown was given unto him. It is written “Instead of Son of God” in Roman numerals on the crown. The Roman numerals are VICARIUS FILII DEI. The sum of these Roman numerals is 666 (as V for 5, I for 1, C for 100, D for 500 etc). It is the number of the beast (Revelation 13:18).

As it is written “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:19), God sent the first living creature Lion in the days of the first seal to challenge the white horse. Lion represents Jesus Christ, the Lion of the tribe of Juda. Christ is the Word. God revealed the pure unadulterated word of God so that the saints of that age are not deceived by the spirit of the Anti-Christ.

Second Seal: And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword (Revelation 6:3, 4).

The fourth church age Thyatira comes under the second seal. During this church age, Satan got down from the white horse and started riding on a red horse. Red represents blood and danger. In this age, Satan with his Political power killed those that rejected his creeds and dogmas. The denomination of Roman Catholic has killed 68 million (6, 80,00,000) Christians who did not accept their dogmas (ref: Foxe’s Book of Martyrs). The scripture “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service” (John 16:2) was fulfilled.

God sent the second living creature Ox to meet the red horse. Ox is a beast of burden. It is a sacrificial animal. Since God sent the spirit of Ox to the saints of that age they died sacrificing their lives for the sake of the word of God considering it as a great privilege.

Third Seal: And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine (Revelation 6:5, 6).

Sardis and Philadelphia, the fifth and the sixth church ages come under the third seal. During this seal, Satan changed his horse from red to black. Black represents ignorance and hiding the truth. In this age, Satan with his Demonic power hid the truth from the people and deceived them by his own doctrine. The balance in his hand represents business. The Roman Catholic denomination sold indulgences during this period. They also collected fare for all their religious related things. It acted as a business organization. The throne of God is in the midst of the four living creatures. Therefore He that is sat on the throne said unto him that sat on the horse “If you want you can sell your spiritual food of wheat and barley to your people, but I have given a measure of the Holy Ghost and revelation to my children and you don’t have the power to hurt them”. To meet the challenge of this age God sent the spirit of the third living creature which had a face as a man. Man represents wisdom. Saints like Martin Luther and John Wesley came into the scene and turned back the elected people from ignorance to the word of God. Martin Luther wrote his famous 95 theses against the Roman Catholic denomination which on October 31, 1517 he nailed to the door of Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. Like this the scriptural truths were revealed and as a result, a group of people hated the Roman Catholic dogmas and turned back to faith and sanctification, the doctrine of the Bible and received the experience of the New Birth.

Fourth Seal: And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth (Revelation 6:7, 8).

The fourth seal includes the seventh church age Laodicea until the time of Rapture. Satan rides on a pale horse during this age. The colour pale is a mixture of white, red and black. Therefore Satan changed his horse from black to pale symbolizing that now he has all kinds of powers (Religious, Political, and Demonic) mixed together. His name was Death. Death means eternal separation from God. This is the most deceiving age. All will be deceived except the elected people of God. The rider of this horse directs the people towards death, hell, period of tribulation and the war of Armageddon which will be the end of the world.

God has sent forth the spirit of the fourth living creature, which is the Eagle anointing, to his elected people to meet the challenge of this age. God always likens His prophets to eagles. Therefore, the angel of this seventh church age should be a prophet. He had the anointing of a flying eagle.

Some so called Christians will confront those who believe the end time truth saying “Where it is written in the Bible that brother Branham is the seventh angel? Show us if it is so then we will believe”. These people, if they had lived during the time when Jesus Christ lived they will surely ask those who believe Jesus and John the Baptist that “How can we believe that this John the Baptist is the prophet with the Elijah anointing that was sent to forerun the Messiah? Where is his name written in the Bible?” Beloved people, it is not enough to just know the scriptures but we should also know or understand how God fulfills the scriptures. Otherwise it is no good just to know the scripture or memorizing it. The elected people of God or those who are predestinated understood the scriptures by revelation. Others were blinded.

They will also ask those who believe Jesus as Messiah that “How can you say that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ? Where is His name written in the Bible?” During that time no one can understand who Jesus was, except them to whom Jesus want to reveal Himself (Matthew 11:25). Because in the Old Testament it is only written “Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son” (Isaiah 7:14), “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given” (Isaiah 9:6) but not even in one place His name was mentioned that the son is Jesus. Then how can they say that was Jesus? His life, His ministry, His attributes, His signs and wonders clearly reveal that Jesus is the Lord and Jesus is the Christ. The predestinated souls understood Him by revelation. Other than Jesus none can fit in the position of Messiah, Christ, Almighty God, Lord and Eternal Father.

Similarly brother Branham’s life, his message, the visions that the Lord gave him, the signs and wonders that the Lord performed through him clearly reveal that William Marrion Branham is the prophet of the end time with Elijah’s anointing and he is a vindicated Word Prophet and the seventh angel. No one else will fit in that position except brother Branham.

Angel means messenger. Your postman is also a messenger. The angel mentioned in Revelation 1:1 is William Branham. In Revelation 1:11 it is written “What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.” The seven letters and the Book of Revelation were to be given to the Church (Ages) and in chapters 2 and 3 they are addressed to the "angels." In Revelation 2:1 it is written “Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write.” Similarly it is written in Revelation 2:8, 2:12, 2:18, 3:1 and 3:7. There is no sense in addressing these mysteries to heavenly beings, whatever would they do with them but communicate them to a (one) human being or "angel" or messenger to each Age. Not two or three, but one (1) because it is hard enough for God to get one man under permanence to deliver one Message without adding to or taking from it. Not only that but also it is written in Revelation 1:20 as “The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.” All those seven churches were only on the earth. Therefore, only an earthly messenger can give the message to those seven churches. So it is very obvious that the seven angels mentioned in Revelation are earthly angels only. Jesus Christ himself revealed the names of the angels to prophet Branham.

The living creature Eagle reveals the name of the person who was on the pale horse. Other living creatures did not reveal it. Eagle reveals that his name was Death. It is revealed in the fourth seal that how Satan is working from the beginning. Satan is exposed here. The Plan of Redemption, the mystery about the bride of Jesus Christ and His coming and how God is working from the beginning till the end and all the mysteries are revealed by the living creature Eagle through the message of William Branham, the seventh angel. The first resurrection and the Rapture are going to take place at the end of this age.

Fifth Seal: And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled (Revelation 6:9 - 11).

God looks upon the souls under the altar after the church is taken up in the Rapture. The blood of the animal which was sacrificed as an atonement will be sprinkled seven times on the mercy seat and the remaining blood will be poured under the altar (Leviticus 4:17). The souls under the altar represent the blood poured under the altar. These souls are Jews. They were killed unjustly by cruel kings like www.calvarytabernacle.in 26

Hitler, Mussolini, Eichmann and Stalin just because they were the people of God. There was no living creature to announce this seal. Because the church was taken up. These souls cannot receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. But God having mercy upon them promise them Eternal Life. The white robes given to them represent the Eternal Life. Also it was said they should rest yet for a little season. They will receive Eternal Life in the last resurrection.

Sixth Seal: And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (Revelation 6:12 - 17).

The sixth seal is the time of the Period of Tribulation. This seal ends in the war of Armageddon. This is the Purging Seal and the Judgment Seal. Since the bride of Christ is already cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ there is no need for her to go into the period of tribulation to be cleansed. Also she was already judged being crucified with Christ spiritually; therefore there is no need for her to take part in the period of tribulation to be judged. She takes part in the Rapture at the end of the fourth seal. All those who miss the Rapture will enter into this period of the sixth seal. During this period, the foolish virgins who do not receive the mark of the beast will be killed. These foolish virgins are forsaken and cleansed by tribulation because they were not cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ and did not receive the oil of the Holy Ghost when there was enough time to receive it (Matthew 25:4).

1, 44,000 Jews that are chosen from all the tribes of Israel will receive the revelation of Jesus Christ by the message of the two witnesses who had Moses and Elijah anointing (Revelation 11:1 - 4). The 1, 44,000 Jews are sealed by the Holy Ghost (Revelation 7:1 - 8). They will not worship the beast or its image. They will stand for the word of God without receiving the mark of the beast. Therefore the beast will kill them and they will die as martyrs.

After that, the earth will be cleansed with fire. When the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah waxed great, God sent fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them. Similarly God will burn this wicked and sinful world (Luke 17:29, 30). Therefore during this seal the 1, 44,000 Jews, the foolish virgins and finally the nature is cleansed. For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch (Malachi 4:1). But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up (II Peter 3:10). Seventh Seal: And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour (Revelation 8:1).

Seventh Seal is the Coming of the Lord. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven (Acts 1:9 - 11). Jesus came back in the cloud in the same way He was taken up. That is explained in the passages to come. Also, Seventh Seal is the end of everything. It is the end of seals, trumpets, vials and all. It goes on and on and on till the end.

Therefore, we cannot be born again without recognizing the day we live and its message. For instance, during the days of Noah, people should enter into the ark to be saved else they have to die in the flood. That was the message given by the angel (messenger) Noah. But when Moses came, he did not bring Noah’s message. Instead he brought a different message which said the people should come under the blood of the lamb else they will be killed by the angel of destruction (Exodus 12:13). Then when Jesus came, He said “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” said John the Baptist about Jesus (John 1:29). In order to be born again, the people of that age should stop sacrificing bulls and goats as per the message of the Law and should come under the message of Jesus Christ believing that He was the true Lamb of God. Until Jesus died on the cross they will be accepted if they brought a lamb for a sacrifice. But God will not accept them if they bring a lamb after the death of Jesus as He was sacrificed once for all and no more animal sacrifice is required.

Therefore, in order to be saved, a man should know the age in which he is living, the word given for that period, the part of the scripture which is being fulfilled then and the messenger of that age. If he truly believes the message of his day and obey the message, then God will come and dwell in him in the form of the Holy Ghost. He will receive the experience of the New Birth. “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” says Jesus at the end of each church age. (Revelation 2:7; 2:11; 2:29; 3:6; 3:13; 3:22). Therefore, the saints of a church age are led to New Birth only by believing the message what the Spirit said unto that church age. God's word is Spirit and Life (John 6:63). (See image 5).

Some False doctrines in the Church Ages:

a. Trinity and Title Baptism:

Trinity was introduced by the Roman emperor Constantine in 325 A.D in a place called Nicea. Then it became the doctrine of Roman Catholics. They brought in Trinity instead of one God. And instead of baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ they brought in title baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost and introduced a ritual of baptizing their infants by the baptism of sprinkling. The interpretation of the term baptism is “immersion after attaining wisdom.” Young children can discern good and evil only when they reach the age of 12 which is called the Age of accountability. Also sprinkling cannot be considered as immersion. It is nowhere mentioned in the Bible that small children were baptized or about the baptism of sprinkling or someone being baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Father, Son and Holy Ghost are not names. They are the titles of God. They are the three positions of one God. They are the three dispensation claims of one God. God was above them in the Old Testament period. The same God was with us when he manifested in the flesh. From the day of Pentecost He is in the Church. (God above us, God with us, God in us). All that was in God He poured into Christ. And all that was in Christ He poured into the church. The name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost is the Lord Jesus Christ. Father (Lord), Son (Jesus) and Holy Ghost (Christ). Therefore, only he that is baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ fulfill the commandment of Jesus mentioned in Matthew 28:19. He that is not baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ does not fulfill the command of Jesus mentioned in Matthew 28:19. www.calvarytabernacle.in 29

This revelation about the name of God was given to Peter on the day of Pentecost. Lord Jesus Christ gave the keys of the kingdom of heaven only to Peter. He said “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19). A key means secret or mystery. The key of the kingdom of heaven means the secret of entering into the kingdom of heaven. Jesus had said “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). New Birth is to receive the Holy Ghost which is the Life of God. This secret was revealed to Peter by the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost. Therefore, listen to what Peter says “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.” Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts 2:36 - 39). This is the secret to receive the Holy Ghost. First a man should believe the truth of one God that Jesus is the Lord and Jesus is the Christ. Then he should repent and confess his sins. Then he should be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then God is obligated to fill that person with the Holy Ghost which is promised. It is the only doctrine given to all that our Lord shall call. No other doctrine is there.

On the day of Pentecost, Peter used the keys God gave him and opened the way for the Jews to enter into the kingdom of God. On the same day about three thousand souls were baptized (Acts 2:41). Then in Acts chapter 8 he opened the door for the Samaritans. Philip went to Samaria and led them in the truth and baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ but they did not receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost yet. Because Jesus did not give the keys of the kingdom of heaven into the hands of Philip. He gave them only to Peter. No one can enter in if Peter did not come and open for them. Once he opens then they can enter in. Therefore, none received the Holy Ghost until Peter came. When Peter came the Holy Ghost was poured upon them (Acts 8:15 - 17).

Then in Acts chapter 10 when Cornelius was praying, the angel of God said to him to call for Peter. Why He did not ask him to call any other disciple? What is the secret in mentioning the name of Peter alone? Because Jesus Christ has given the keys of the kingdom of heaven only to Peter. That commission was given only to him. God never changes what He said. Peter had an opinion that salvation is only for Jews but not Gentiles. So God gave him a vision and revealed him His will that salvation is for www.calvarytabernacle.in 30

Gentiles also and they too will receive the Holy Ghost and enter into the kingdom of heaven. Cornelius was a Roman. He was a Gentile. Therefore Peter was called to his house and when he preached, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. On that day Peter opened the door for the Gentiles (Acts 10:44 - 47).

We can classify the people of the world into three groups. Jews, Samaritans and Gentiles. Peter opened the door for all these three groups. The door which was opened on that day is still open even today. It is not closed yet. It will remain open until the last soul whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world is sealed by the true baptism of the Holy Ghost. God will close the door when that last soul is born again. Then the Rapture will take place. For example, in the days of Noah, the door of the ark was kept open until the last animal chosen by God entered into the ark. When the last animal entered into the ark, God closed the door of the ark. And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in (Genesis 7:16).

Even Paul the apostle baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 19:5). Therefore God is One. His name is Lord Jesus Christ. And it is very clear without a doubt that Father, Son and Holy Ghost are not names but titles of God.

b. Organizing Denominations:

In the Old Testament, the people of Israel said unto Samuel the prophet that they need a king to rule them (I Samuel 8:4, 5). Similarly, in the New Testament period, people organized denominations to rule them. Denominations are formed by the doctrine of men. Today there are more than 900 denominations in the Christian world. In those days God ruled the people through Priests, Levites, Prophets and Judges. They did not have a king. God expected Jesus Christ to rule as the King of Kings at the end. But they rejected God’s rule and chose man’s rule. Same way, in the New Testament, God ruled the church by choosing some, apostles and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors and teachers (Fivefold ministry) (Ephesians 4:11 - 13). Then people organized denominations for them. So the governance of the Holy Ghost left the church. The first denomination that was formed was the denomination of Roman Catholics. In the Bible, it is described as Great Whore and Babylon the Great (Revelation 17:1, 5). It started in the doctrine of Trinity in 325 A.D and continues even today to be the biggest denomination in the world. They have the riches of the world. Only through them all the wrong doctrines of Babylon spread to the other denominations in the Christian world.

The Lutheran denomination was founded after the period of Martin Luther, the angel of the fifth church age. The denomination of Methodist was founded after the period of John Wesley, the angel of the sixth church age. And then was the great Pentecostal Revival in California in the year 1906. After some time that revival ended. Today they are organizing many Pentecostal denominations. When a denomination is organized, the governance of Holy Ghost leave and the governance of man sets in. Therefore all the denominations are spiritually dead. There is no experience of the New Birth as the Holy Ghost is not there. That’s why Peter said on the day of Pentecost “Save yourselves from this untoward generation” (Acts 2:40). Denominations are the untoward generation. of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4). “Leave the doctrines of the denomination and come to the Word and be filled with the Holy Ghost” yells Jesus. New Birth is to be filled with the Holy Ghost.

X. New Birth in this Last Age a. The messenger of the end time is a prophet with the anointing of Elijah:

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise (Ephesians 1:13). The gospel of your salvation represents the message given for your day or the age in which you live. The time we live now is the end time or the last age. The church of Laodicea is the last church (Revelation 3:14). This is the seventh church age. The angel of this church age is William Marrion Branham. He is the seventh angel (Revelation 3:14). He is a prophet sent by God with Elijah anointing before the destruction of the earth. God has promised that the message of this prophet will turn the hearts of the elected people to the apostolic faith of the early Pentecostal fathers. The apostles had the Manifested Word. Christ is that Manifested Word.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse (Malachi 4:5,6). The Great day represents the First coming of Jesus Christ. Children represent the elected people. Dreadful day represents the Second coming of Jesus Christ and the end of the world. John the Baptist was a prophet with Elijah anointing who was sent to forerun the First coming of Jesus Christ (Luke 1:17). He turned the hearts of the Old Testament fathers who were under the Law to Christ, the Revealed Word. In these last days, before God destroys the world, William Marrion Branham fulfilled the second part of Malachi 4:6 as he was the prophet sent with an Elijah anointing to forerun the Second coming of Jesus Christ. His message turns the heart of the elected children to the faith of our fathers, the early apostles. His message is from God. It is the revealed word of God. It is a message which gives the right interpretation of the word of God. It is the fulfillment of the prophecy which the Lord spoke through the prophet Joel. “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you” (Joel 2:25). The message of the seventh angel is a message that brings back the apostolic truth which was missed during the church ages.

God uses the spirit of Elijah for five times. Firstly, the spirit was on Elijah during the days of Ahab in the Old Testament. Second, double portion of the same spirit came upon Elisha. Third, the same spirit came upon John the Baptist at the beginning of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Fourth, in this last age the same spirit came into Bro. Branham in the twentieth century. Jesus Christ says about Elijah’s spirit in Matthew 17:11 - 13. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. www.calvarytabernacle.in 32

In these scriptures, the words “Elias is come already” represent John the Baptist who did forerun the First coming of Christ. The disciples also understood that. But the words “Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things” represent Bro. Branham. Because John did not restore anything. Prophet Branham is the one who restored the doctrines before the Second coming of Christ. The fifth time when the spirit of Elijah will be used is during the Period of Tribulation when the two witnesses preach the truth to the Jews. At that time, God will send the spirit of Elijah along with the spirit of Moses (Revelation 11:1 - 14). In this manner God uses the spirit of Elijah for five times (Refer Table 3).

b. The ministry of Son of Man is repeated:

The time in which Jesus lived in the flesh in this world is the end time of the Old Testament church. At that time the Jews were deceiving themselves thinking that they were religious and godly. They had various sects like Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes and Herodians. They had the form of godliness but actually followed the traditions and doctrines of men. God manifested in the flesh in such a time. The Son of man ministry came unto the Jews.

Similarly, the Son of man ministry has come again through a man unto the Gentiles who are living at the end time of the New Testament. The Laodicean church in this last age is in lukewarm condition, neither cold nor hot. In the eyes of Christ, it is spiritually dead, full of tradition and in a backslidden state. Jesus Christ says that he will spew it out of his mouth. Christ did not find any good thing in this church (Revelation 3:16,17). That is the spiritual condition of the denominational Christians today. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power (Word) thereof (II Timothy 3:5).

There were Three Pulls in Jesus Christ’s ministry when He was a Son of man on the earth. First Pull was Healing. Second Pull was Prophecy (revealing the intents of the heart). And the Third Pull was Opening of the Word. Same kind of Son of man ministry should come at the end time. The world will be www.calvarytabernacle.in 33

as it was in the days of Noah and Sodom. Jesus has prophesied that even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed (Luke 17:26 - 30). This prophecy has been fulfilled now in our days. Today’s world is a scientific world as it was in the days of Noah. Not only that but also sin has increased greatly as it was in the days of Sodom.

Therefore, as foretold by Christ, the Son of man ministry has come again through a man called William Branham, the seventh angel. Bro. Branham is not the Son of man. The Son of man is the Lord Jesus Christ. Through Bro. William Branham, the Lord brought the same kind of ministry to the world which Jesus the Son of man did. The Three Pulls that were in the ministry of Jesus Christ were present in the ministry of Prophet William Branham also. He has preached around 1120 messages during his gospel ministry between 1947 and 1965. His message has been sent all over the world. All those messages were the revelation of Jesus Christ. His ministry proved that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The gifts of healing and prophecy were manifested powerfully. Especially many people were delivered from deadly cancer. The lame walked, the deaf heard, the blind saw. Five persons were raised from the dead. He revealed the secret of man’s heart and the future things. Every one of them was fulfilled without any flaw. Then the third pull (Opening of the Word) was also fulfilled in his ministry.

The message of the seventh angel restored the apostolic faith. Not only that but also the Seven Seals were opened and the mind of Christ hidden in the Bible as a secret were revealed. This revelation shows us who Jesus Christ is and what is our position in Christ. Therefore, if we believe the message of the seventh angel and repent and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ leaving the denomination and its creed, and stay with the Word, then God will fill us with the baptism of the Holy Ghost as He has promised. That is the New Birth of this last age. c. God vindicates His prophet:

If a prophet is sent from God he will not preach anything other than the word of God. God vindicates him and his message by signs and wonders. When God sent His apostles with a message, Jesus was with them and confirmed the word by the signs and wonders they did. And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following (Mark 16:20). How did Lord Jesus Christ reveal himself to prophet Branham? How did He fulfill the promised word for this day through the prophet? We can read them in the following passages.

1. The voice from the heaven vindicated the prophet:

In June 1933, the prophet of the Lord conducted revival meetings for a few days. At the end of the meeting for about 500 people repented, believed the truth and came forward to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Bro. Branham was baptizing them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in the river Ohio near Spring Street in Jeffersonville. For about 4000 people were watching it from the bank of the river. At that time, there was a young woman called Margie in her swimsuit sitting in a boat. She was a Sunday school teacher in a denominational church. Bro. Branham requested her to move her boat little farther from the place where he was giving baptism. But she refused to do so. Bro. Branham said “You may not go, but the gospel I preach can take you away from this place”. The young woman was www.calvarytabernacle.in 35

snickering and laughing at the prophet because she did not believe in baptism. When he was baptizing the seventeenth convert, a light came from heaven and stood over Bro. Branham. There was a voice from that light which said “As John the Baptist was sent forth to forerun the first coming of Christ, you’re sent forth with a message to forerun the second coming of the Christ”. (See image 6).

It was published in the Newspaper too with a heading “Mystic Light appears over a local minister while baptizing.” The people who were standing there were fainting and falling in shock. Some ran from that place out of fear. Some bowed their knees and worshipped God. The young woman Margie pitched forward in the boat in fear. The Lord made her move from that place as told by Bro. Branham. That young woman became insane in a few days because she despised God’s word and was admitted in an insane institution. By this incident we understand that we should not play with the word of God. The word of God always comes to the prophet. Jesus spoke to Paul from a light from heaven when he was on his way to Damascus. In the same way Jesus Christ spoke to Bro. Branham from a light and has vindicated the Word.

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets (Amos 3:7). Therefore, Bro. Branham is also a prophet sent by God as John the Baptist. His message turns us back to the early apostolic faith which was lost. It prepares us for the Second coming of Christ. This message is the perfect revelation of Jesus Christ. It is the revelation of Christ that leads us to the New Birth. This revelation turns us from the dogma of Trinity to the doctrine of One God which is the doctrine of the Godhead. It turns us from title baptism to the baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ which is the name of God. It also turns us back to the true word of God from all denominational wrong doctrines.

2. The prophet being vindicated by the Pillar of Fire:

In the image 7, we can see the pillar of fire above the head of the prophet. God vindicated Moses and Paul by the pillar of fire that they were prophets sent from God. In the same way He has vindicated prophet Branham that he was sent by God. And even today this image hangs in Washington, D.C., in the hall of fame.

You can read further to know how God vindicated His prophet by the pillar of fire. Mr. Best, a preacher, was against the healing ministry of Bro. Branham. He did not believe in divine healing. He challenged Bro. Branham for a debate regarding divine healing. Bro. Branham did not come forward to face that challenge as he felt contending is not good (I Corinthians 11:16). But Dr. Bosworth, a fellow minister of Bro. Branham agreed to face that challenge. He went to the meeting after he assured Bro. Branham that he won’t speak anything apart from the word of God.

That meeting was held in January, 1950 in Houston, Texas. Around 30,000 people were there. Mr. Best was raging that there is no such thing called divine healing. Then Dr. Bosworth showed many scriptures from the Bible that divine healing is scriptural. He said “I've got six hundred scriptures of the New Testament and Old, written out here, that Christ's present attitude to the people for divine healing is the same today as it ever was.” When he said to the crowd “How many of you were healed in the meetings of Bro. Branham?” there stood hundreds of people. Bro. Branham has decided not to go to www.calvarytabernacle.in 36

that meeting. But the Spirit of the Lord instructed him to go over there. So he came there in the middle of the meeting and sat in the balcony.

Mr. Best was speaking so harshly as if he would punch at Bro. Bosworth’s face. He hired two photographers from Douglas Studio, James Ayers, a Roman Catholic and Ted Kipperman, an orthodox Jew to take pictures of his debate and they were taking photographs. Mr. Best screamed “You bring that healer forth.” Then Pastor Bosworth said “If Bro. Branham is here I request him to come to the platform and speak a few words.” Then Bro. Branham came down to the platform and said “Don't no one think hard of Mr. Best. I don't agree with his theory, not at all. Some mother loves him just the same as my mother loves me. And don't feel hard at him; he's got a right to his belief. I do not claim to be a Divine www.calvarytabernacle.in 37

healer. Jesus Christ is the only healer. He has sent me with signs and wonders. If I tell the truth, God will testify that I've told the truth. If He doesn't testify, then I'm wrong. If He does testify, then I am right. Not because that it's me, but because it's He that sent me is right and if I tell the truth, then God will speak of me.” And when he finished saying that, there was a sound as that of a whirlwind. Immediately the photographers took a picture of Bro. Branham and that was the last picture they took.

At that night the photographer James Ayers was looking at the negatives in a dark room and he noticed except one negative all the others were blank without any picture. Only the picture that was taken at the end was proper. In that picture, there was a Supernatural Light seen over the head of Bro. Branham. That was the Pillar of Fire. Surprised at this, Ayers showed it to others as well. That negative was sent to George J. Lacy, the best examiner in the United States, ex-FBI, who was an examiner of questioned documents. He kept the picture for two days; then he sent word, said, "We'll give the reading on it, and let you know about it on two o'clock, on the following afternoon, on the third day. A big bunch of photographers, and so forth, gathered in. Many of the people around the city, like the writer for the "Colliers" and "Times," they gathered in. When he came out he said "Whose name's Reverend Branham?" Bro. Branham said “Mine, sir”. He said “Reverend Branham, one of these days, you're going to pass off of life's scenes like all mortals do. But as long as there's a Christian civilization, your picture shall never die." He said, "It's the first time in all the world's history that a supernatural Being was ever photographed. But I put it through every test that can be thought, and," said, "It was a supernatural Being that's been shot." He said, "For myself, I have said and heard of your meetings, and read it in the magazines, and I heard about that Angel, and so forth. I said within myself, even to the time that I received the negative, 'It's psychology.'" He said, "But Brother Branham, the mechanical eye of that camera will not take psychology." Said, "The Light struck the negative.” He wrote the same officially and signed it. Therefore, if God has identified Himself with His prophet and vindicated him by appearing with him, why should we hesitate to believe that he was sent from God?

3. The prophet being vindicated by the Pillar of Cloud:

We see the picture of the Pillar of Cloud in image 8. In the year 1963, February 28, Bro. Branham was in the Sunset Mountain in Arizona, America along with some of his friends. Suddenly a tremendous explosion shook the earth. Looking to the west, Bro. Branham saw a pyramid of seven angels from the eternity approaching him faster than supersonic jets. They surrounded him before he could exhale, and they seemed to lift him into the air. It appeared as a White Cloud strikingly beautiful and mysterious. It was estimated to be 30 miles across and 26 miles high, observed that it remained bright 28 minutes after the sun set. Bro. Branham was caught up into the midst of these Seven Angels by the power of the Holy Ghost. The picture of the cloud was published in LIFE Magazine on May 17, 1963 under the heading “And a High Cloud Ring of Mystery”. It reveals the full face of the Lord Jesus Christ when the picture is viewed from the right side angle. The scripture “His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire” (Revelation 1:14) was fulfilled. Bro. Branham heard a voice from the cloud saying “Return back to Jeffersonville from where you come from for the Seven Seals of the seven mysteries will be opened.”

In 1963, from March 17 to 24, when Bro. Branham was waiting in a small room meditating the Bible to preach about the Seven Seals, the angels he saw in the cloud came each one on each day and revealed the truths that were hidden in the Bible and that were missed during the period of Luther, Wesley and Pentecostals. Christ, the Lamb broke the Seven Seals and revealed the secrets to the seventh angel. www.calvarytabernacle.in 39

The seventh angel revealed it to the church. The scriptures “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches” (Revelation 22:16), “There should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets” (Revelation 10:6, 7) have been fulfilled.

4. Showdown in India:

Bro. Branham came to Bombay in India during the fourth week of September 1954. Christian leaders from various churches did welcome him. The archbishop of a Methodist church in India said unto Bro. Branham: “I believe you have not come here as a missionary. We know more about the Bible than all your teachers in America together know. Because the Bible is an eastern book. Saint Thomas came down here and preached the gospel 1900 years back. But what we ought to know, what we are wondering: Can we find a man with faith enough making it manifested? That’s what we want to know. We want to see the Bible re-acted and lived again. We heard that God has given a gift to you which can make the Bible live again.”

Bro. Branham replied: “Surely I want to show your people that Jesus Christ has risen from the dead; and He is the same yesterday, today and forever.”

When Bro. Branham was staying in the hotel Taj Mahal, the mayor of Bombay invited him for dinner. Many government officials including Jawaharlal Nehru, the Prime minister of India took part in the dinner. Mr. Nehru looked over Bro. Branham and said "Sir, I believe you're ill." When they got to the hotel, there was the governor's private doctor waiting for Bro. Branham. The doctor examined Bro. Branham and said "Your blood pressure is dangerously low. I wonder how you are still alive in this condition. I advise you to return to America as soon as possible, and get some real good doctor to look at you."

Bro. Branham said: “I have got two more meetings in Bombay. Then I will go home straight away.”

The first day meeting was held at a great huge Episcopal church. As Bro. Branham was a world famous evangelist there was five hundred thousand (5 lakhs) people in the city that had come for the healing services, for the meetings. Since the crowd was very high, microphones were fixed in all the streets that were around the church. Bro. Branham was preaching in the meeting that Jesus Christ lives even today and even now he can do the same kind of miracles which he did when he lived on the earth.

He told the names of each one of them in the prayer line and also told the problem they have and prayed for them. As he could not pronounce the names of them he spelt the letters of their name. All things he said was absolutely true. Many sick people were healed. Several miracles took place. Next day, the leaders of seventeen religions in India met Bro. Branham. They took him to a Jain temple and praised about their gods. They asked many questions about Jesus Christ and Christianity. Bro. Branham gave the right answers to them according to the scriptures. Then Bro. Branham said unto them: “Christian missionaries have revealed Jesus Christ to you through leaflets containing Bible doctrine and through schools, hospitals and orphanages. I support all those things. But Jesus Christ is not yet revealed www.calvarytabernacle.in 40

to you fully. If you come to my meeting tonight you can see Jesus Christ in His supernatural power.” To his surprise all of them accepted to come to the meeting.

For the evening meeting on that day there were four rows of police protection before the pulpit. The religious leaders whom he met in the Jain temple were sitting in the first row. Bro. Branham preached very clearly about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All the sick people in the prayer line were healed when he prayed. Then a blind man came to the platform with his prayer card. His eyes were completely white. Bro. Branham saw a vision that he has got his sight. Every vision he saw was fulfilled without any flaw. That was the reason for the prophet’s daring hope. In his vision he saw the blind man, the place where he lived and how he became blind by worshipping the sun by looking at it constantly. Bro. Branham challenged every pagan priest: “If your god is a true god, come here and open the eyes of this blind man. Then we will fall down before your gods and worship them.” Nobody came forward to face that challenge. He also asked them: “If my God, Lord Jesus Christ be a true God and open the eyes of this man, will you reject your powerless gods and accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior?” They said they will. Bro. Branham prayed for him, and said “Oh, God of heaven, before these heathens here, let it be known that You’re still Jesus Christ, and these signs and wonders are taking place are of You, and restore the sight to the man.” Immediately his eyes were opened and he was able to see as good as the prophet could see. And the man let out a scream and jumped way up in the air, run over. And the mayor of Bombay was there, and he runs over there and begin to kiss him all over the platform, and the people, thinking that they will be healed by touching Bro. Branham rushed forward to touch him and even tore the pockets off of Bro. Branham's coat, pulling his shoes off. The militia couldn’t get him out of the crowd. And that man who was healed testified all over India; even to the president of India. In this manner the Lord glorified His name in India by doing miracles through His prophet. This vindicates that Bro. Branham was a prophet sent by God and his message was given by God.

5. God vindicates His prophet in the midst of preachers in Chicago:

In the city of Chicago in America, around 400 preachers planned to trap Bro. Branham by questioning him on his doctrine. They wanted to put him to shame. But the Lord worked in such a way that they were ashamed of getting into the trap themselves. Read this incident as narrated by Bro. Branham himself.

“Look in Chicago, greater Chicago, when three hundred preachers setting there,... The Lord told me that night what they were going to do. They had a trap set for me. Me, go on over there. And I went and told Brother Carlson; I said, "You'll not have it in that hotel. You'll have to take it to another place, and it'd be a green room. And they got a trap set for me, haven't they, Brother Carlson?" He dropped his head.

And I said, "They got a trap set for me. Why, Brother Carlson? Are you afraid to tell me why, you and Tommy Hicks?" They dropped their heads. I said, "Tommy, why don't you go speak?"

Said, "I couldn't do it." www.calvarytabernacle.in 41

I said, "I thought you said you'd do me a favor." I said, "Last night the Lord told me, 'You're going down there today, and you find out you're not going to get that building. You're going to another building. Dr. Mead will be setting on this side, that colored man and his wife that sings will be setting right here and so forth, where they'll all be setting.'" I said, "There'd be a Buddha priest there." And I said, "Now, find out. They got it against me because I preach the water baptism in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. They got it against me because I preach the serpent's seed, and against the evidence that every man speaks with tongues has got the Holy Ghost and things." I said, "Come down and watch God."

We got in there...... Two hours from then or better, sometime that afternoon, they called up Brother Carlson and he said. The guy that let him have that--and paid a down-payment on it--said, "We have to cancel, because the manager said he'd already promised it to a--a band for that night--or that morning."

And they couldn't have it. So we went out to the Town and Country. And that morning when we got in there and stood in there and I... And Brother Carlson said, "There's one thing, you brethren might disagree with Brother Branham," but said, "he's not scared to say what he believes." He said, "He told me these things would happen just exactly the way they are." He said, "Now, here he is. Let him speak for himself."

I just took the Scripture, "I'm not disobedient to the heavenly vision," as Paul said. I said, "You've got it in for me for water baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ. Better than three hundred of you introduced yourself as Doctor So-and-so and Doctor So-and-so." I said, "I haven't even got a grammar school education, but I challenge any man here to bring your Bible, and stand here by my side, and deny one of the words that's been said." You got it on tape out here if you want to hear it. That was the quietest crowd you ever heard. I said, "What's the matter?" Is there anybody here tonight, was in that morning meeting, let's see you hold your hands. Yeah, look--why sure, look all around. I said, "Then if you can't support it, then keep off of my back." That's right. A lot of howling when they're around the corner, but come face to face with the issue it's different. That's right. It's...

The men went out. Tommy Hicks said, "I want three hundred of those tapes to send to every Trinitarian preacher I know of." The men shaking my hands said, "We'll come down to the Tabernacle and be baptized over." Where are they? Excuses. "I can't do it; my denomination won't let me do it." "I married a wife." "I bought a yoke of oxen,” "I bought a piece of ground; I got to go look at it." See? Some of those things like... Excuses, is that right? “says Bro. Branham about that incident.

When Bro. Branham challenged those hundreds of preachers nobody came forward to face the challenge because they knew that the Angel of the Lord was on the right hand of Bro. Branham and if they go there he will smite them. In this manner God vindicated His prophet in Chicago.

6. Seven Visions:

In June 1933, while preparing for a two-week tent meeting in Jeffersonville, Indiana, William Branham experienced a series of 7 prophetic visions. He said: “The Lord Jesus spoke to me and said that the coming of the Lord was drawing nigh, but that before He came, seven major events would transpire. I wrote them all down and that morning I gave forth the revelation of the Lord”. www.calvarytabernacle.in 42

Vision One (Completely Fulfilled)

He saw in a vision that the dictator of Italy, Mussolini, would invade Ethiopia and according to the voice speaking to him, Ethiopia “would fall at his (Mussolini’s) steps”. However, the voice prophesied a dread end of the dictator, for he would have a horrible death and his own people would literally spit on him.

There was a great opposition initially when the prophet said this. But later it came to pass exactly as it was prophesied.

In 1934 Italian troops amassed in Italian Somaliland. In October 1935, 100,000 soldiers attacked Ethiopia from Eritrea and Italian Somaliland, without a declaration of war. The League of Nations unanimously declared Italy an aggressor but took no action.

Besides lacing bombs with mustard gas, the Italians set up forced labour camps, installed public gallows, killed hostages and mutilated the corpses. Captured guerrillas were thrown out of aeroplanes in mid- flight, and Italian troops photographed themselves next to corpses on the gallows, and hanging around chests full of detached heads. The war lasted 7 months. Ethiopia was outmatched in arms and brutality.

On April 27, 1945, Italian communist partisans caught Mussolini and his mistress trying to escape to Switzerland before the Allies reached Milan. On April 28, Mussolini and his mistress were shot. The next day their bodies were found hanging upside down on meat hooks in Milan. The corpse of the former leader became subject to ridicule and abuse by many, fulfilling the prophecy of his shameful end.

Vision Two (Completely Fulfilled)

The next vision indicated America would be drawn into a world war against Germany which would be headed up by the Austrian, Adolph Hitler. The voice predicted that this terrible war would overthrow Hitler and he would come to a mysterious “end”. In this vision he was shown the Siegfried line whereat a great toll of American lives would be executed, but Hitler would be defeated.

In 1933 Hitler had just come to power. There was no sign of World War 2, the build-up of the Siegfried line, or the mysterious death of Hitler. But it came to pass as it was prophesied.

The Siegfried Line was a defense system over 630km (392 miles) long with over 18,000 bunkers, tunnels and tank traps. It went from Kleve on the Dutch border; to Weil am Rhein on the Swiss border. More for propaganda than for strategic reasons, Hitler planned the line and had it built between 1938 and 1940.

Battles along the line include:

 Hurtgen Forest (Sept 19, 1944 - Feb 10, 1945; est’d 33,000 American & 9,000 German casualties)  Aachen (Oct. 1944, estimated 5,000 Americans & 5,000 German casualties),  Operation Market Garden (3,500 American, 6,500 British, and 4,000 - 8,000 German casualties). www.calvarytabernacle.in 43

For many years, the US government denied the losses suffered by American forces in the Siegfried Line. But in the early 1960s German films surfaced, forcing the USA to admit what really happened there. It is not the first time governments have attempted to cover up mistakes, failure or losses during a war.

Hitler’s end was mysterious as prophesied. He and his spouse Eva Hitler committed suicide on 30 April 1945 at the Fuhrerbunker in Berlin. The consensus is that Hitler shot himself while simultaneously biting into a cyanide capsule. While much is now known or agreed about Hitler's death, most details remained a mystery for political purposes (i.e to deprive Nazis of a rallying point) by the USSR and E Germany for years after World War 2.

Vision Three (Completely Fulfilled)

The third vision was in the realm of world politics for it showed him that there would be three great ISMS, Fascism, Nazism, Communism, but that the first two would be swallowed up into the third. The voice admonished, "WATCH RUSSIA, WATCH RUSSIA. Keep your eye on the King of the North.

Fascism was invented by Mussolini. It was an authoritarian ideology with the individual inferior to the state. (Fasces, a bundle of rods tied around an axe, was an ancient Roman symbol of the authority of the civic magistrates, symbolizing strength through unity.)

Nazism became dominant in Germany; it was defined as whatever was decreed by the Nazi Party and Hitler. Combined various ideologies centered on anger at the perceived conspiracy to humiliate Germany at the end of WW1. It was a loose collection of incoherent ideas focused on those held to blame for Germany's "weakness": anti-parliamentarianism, ethnic nationalism, racism, collectivism, eugenics, anti-Semitism, opposition to economic and political liberalism, a racially defined and conspiratorial view of capitalism, and anti-communism.

Communism seeks a classless society based on common ownership of the means of production. It was formulated by Marx and instituted by Lenin after the 1917 Russian Revolution.

The Fall of Fascism: In July 1943, there was a coup against Mussolini, and in September Italy surrendered to the Allies. But Germany immediately invaded and for nearly two years the country was divided, with a puppet fascist state under Mussolini in the Nazi-occupied north. On April 28, 1945, Italian communist partisans executed Mussolini.

The Fall of Nazism: The tide of World War 2 turned at the Battle of Stalingrad. The German army retreated until the Red Army occupied Berlin on May 8, 1945 and Germany surrendered.

Mussolini’s Fascism and Hitler’s Nazism came to an end and only Communism remains.

The Voice in the vision admonished to “Watch RUSSIA”. Not ‘the Soviet Union’, but “Russia”. This hinted at the eventual fall of the Soviet Union and the emergence of Russia as a distinct State.

In the mid 1980s, the reform-minded Gorbachev introduced glasnost (openness) and perestroika (restructuring) to modernize Soviet communism. This provoked strong resentment among www.calvarytabernacle.in 44

conservatives. In August 1991 an unsuccessful coup attempt to remove Gorbachev led instead to the collapse of the Soviet Union. Yeltsin came to power and declared the end of exclusive Communist rule. The USSR splintered into 15 independent republics, including Russia, and was officially dissolved in December 1991. It’s no more called USSR or Soviet Union, but Russia.

This vision is also fulfilled completely.

Vision Four (Being Fulfilled)

The fourth vision was one in which there was predicted to be tremendous technological advances right after the war. This was symbolized by an egg shaped car with a plastic bubble roof, going down beautiful highways completely under perfect remote control. There was no steering wheel in the car and the occupants appeared to be playing a game like checkers.

Such a vehicle has been around for years, awaiting only highways fitted for such a mode of transport.

Here are some examples of actual vehicles of this type:

Park shuttle bus, developed by Frog Navigation and built by Connexion (the Dutch Transit Authority), runs driverless by on-board computers and sensors, with guiding magnets embedded in the designated roadway. However, it does occasionally need to be manually overridden by a driver. It is already in operation between the airport and an industrial park.

A S-Class Mercedes with all the extras can already be left largely alone to make its way along a moderately busy and fairly straight Autobahn. (The Economist, Dec 11, 2008)

Volvo’s new XC60 sport-utility vehicle...[is] fitted with mechanisms to help avoid a crash in the first place, including an automated braking system. The Volvo system, called City Safety, operates at up to 30kph (19mph)... City Safety uses a laser sensor fitted behind the windscreen to scan the road ahead, calculating relative speeds and distances. It applies the brakes if a collision cannot be avoided. (The Economist, Dec 11, 2008)

Egg shaped Cars:

Driverless, egg-shaped "cars" at London Heathrow airport from spring 2010.

One of the stars of the 2005 Tokyo Auto Show, the Nissan Pivo concept is an electric car with drive-by- wire systems and a revolving egg-shaped cabin. (See Nissan Press Release for more details.)

Two large wheels drive the Peugeot Moovie concept vehicle, the center of which serves as doors for the vehicle. It is an electric car developed as a prototype.

Vision Five (Being Fulfilled)

The fifth involved the womanhood of the world. In this scene there appeared the fast moral decay of women. Starting when she received her so-called liberty to enter into worldly affairs by means of the vote, she soon began to wear clothes that were too revealing. clothing of men. Finally the vision showed her all but stripped naked and she merely covered herself with a tiny apron about the size and shape of a fig leaf. With her womanhood so little valued, a terrible decay of all flesh came upon the earth and with it perversion even as set forth by the Word of God.

The 4th vision dealt with scientific developments (represented by a car) after 1933, and the 5th vision deals with moral developments.

The moral decay of America and the world was clearly seen in developments among women, who would:

 cut their hair, the symbol of their being under the headship of man (See 1Corinthians 11:2-16),  dress like men (See Deuteronomy 22:5), and  wear progressively immodest clothes (1Tim 2:9) until finally they almost completely abandon their garments (Revelation 3:18).

How likely was this scenario in 1933 USA? Being chaste and modest was seen as positive traits at the start of the 20th century. How different from today.

Vision Six (Being fulfilled)

There arose in the United States a most beautiful woman clothed in splendor and great power was given to her. She was lovely of feature but there was a hardness about her that defied description. Beautiful as she was, she was yet cruel, wicked and cunning. She dominated the land with her authority, she had complete power over the people. The vision indicated that either such a woman would literally arise or that this woman of the vision was merely a type of an organization that is Scripturally characterized by a female. Though the voice did not speak out and reveal who she was, he felt in his heart that this woman represented the rising Roman Catholic Church, and he inserted in parenthesis beside at the end of this vision which he had written out, (perhaps the Catholic Church).

In this vision, William Branham was unsure whether the "Woman" which came to great power and authority was a physical woman, or a religious organization such as the Catholic Church. Since 1933, both women and the Catholic Church have grown in political influence and authority in America.

Political Rise of Woman in America:

 In 1933 (coincidence?), Frances Perkins became the first female member of the US Cabinet.  Between 1933 and 2008, women increased their presence in blue collar jobs, broke the corporate glass ceiling, and shattered the stained-glass ceiling of most religions in America.  In 1984 Geraldine Ferraro ran unsuccessfully as the Democratic nominee for Vice President.  In 2006, Nancy Pelosi became speaker of Congress, and second in line of Presidential succession after the Vice President.  Hillary Clinton campaigned to become the first woman Democratic candidate for President in the 2008 presidential election. www.calvarytabernacle.in 46

 Republican Presidential nominee John McCain presented Sarah Palin as his nominee for Vice President in the 2008 presidential election.

Numerical and Political Rise of the Catholic Church in America:

In 1783, at the end of the American Revolution, less than 1% were Catholic.

In 1850, New York Archbishop John Hughes said: Everybody should know that we have for our mission to convert the world- including the inhabitants of the United States- the people of the cities, and the people of the country, the Officers of the Navy and the Marines, the commander of the Army, the legislatures, the Senate, the Cabinet, the President and all.

By 1910, 16% were Catholic due to Irish, German, Italian, French Canadian, and E European immigration.

In 1926, one million Catholics gathered for the 28th International Eucharist Congress. It was seen as a "kind of formal debut for the American Church"

In 1928 the running of Catholic Al Smith for President sparked alarm among Protestants. His defeat was widely seen as a rejection of his religion.

In 1960, the first Catholic president, John F Kennedy, was elected. He sought to distance himself from the Catholic Church to reassure Protestants.

In January 1984 the USA and the Holy See established diplomatic relations.

By 2006, 69m Americans (23%) were Catholic. The largest Protestant denomination, the Southern Baptists, had 16.3m members.

In 2008 President Bush eclipsed Kennedy's links with Rome. He enthusiastically welcomed Pope Benedict XVI during his April 15-20 visit to the USA. A Washington Post discussion of the extent of Catholic influence on American policy concludes that Bush had wedded Catholic intellectualism with the evangelical political savvy to forge a powerful electoral coalition and that the key to understanding Bush's domestic policy is to view it through the lens of Rome. Rick Santorum, a Catholic and Former Pennsylvania Senator, said, " I don't think there's any question about it, [George Bush] is much more Catholic than Kennedy.

Vision Seven (Future)

The voice bade him look once more. As he turned and beheld, a great explosion rent the entire land, and left the land of America a smoldering, chaotic ruin. As far as the eye could see there was naught but craters, smoking piles of debris, and no humanity in sight. The vision then faded away.

This vision foretells the destruction of America.

Considering the drastic changes that were in the world for the past fifty years and these seven visions, it is very clear that we are at the end time. Visions never fail. The first five visions have been fulfilled. It is www.calvarytabernacle.in 47

very sure that the remaining two visions will also be fulfilled soon. Therefore considering the events mentioned above it is vindicated clearly that prophet Branham is the end time messenger sent by God and only his message can bring New birth to the people living in this last age.

XI. Coming of The Lord and the New Birth

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (I Thessalonians 4:16, 17).

On February 28, 1963, Christ, the mighty angel descended from heaven in a cloud (Revelation 10:1) He opened the seven seals and revealed the mysteries to the seventh angel. The seventh angel revealed it to the church (Revelation 22:16). The Book of Redemption which was sealed with seven seals in Revelation chapter 5 (Revelation 5:1) became an open book in Revelation chapter 10 (Revelation 10:2). Therefore we are at the time of the Second Coming of Christ. We are living in the days of the voice of the seventh angel (Revelation 10:7). Christ is with us in Word Form. The opening of the Seven Seals brought Christ back to earth in Word Form. Christ sealed in the word has been unveiled now.

Shout, Voice and Trumpet are the spiritual terms representing the Message of the Hour. The Second coming of Christ or the Rapture is a process of three events namely Shout, Voice and Trumpet. The coming of the Lord ends in translation or transfiguration or the body change of the bride. Body change happens in a twinkling of an eye. Let’s see about it briefly below.

Shout brings a group of people out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation into the Message of the Hour. For example, the people of Israel shouted with a great shout after they compassed the city of Jericho seven times. Then the wall fell down flat. Rahab, who was predestinated by God came out of Jericho and all her family (Joshua 6:16, 22).

The Voice of the Arch Angel is the voice of Christ, the Mighty Angel. That voice has the power of resurrection. When Jesus cried with a loud voice “Lazarus, come forth” he that was dead for four days came forth (John 11:43, 44). When Jesus cried with a loud voice and yielded up the ghost, the bodies of the Old Testament saints which were dead risen (Matthew 27:50, 52, 53). As His voice quickened them that day, the voice of His word quickens His bride today who was dead in trespasses and sin and makes her perfect in the Word.

Trump brings the glorious resurrection of the dead saints of the church ages and body change to the living saints that are perfect and in a twinkling of an eye take them in the air to meet Christ. “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (I Corinthians 15:51, 52). Therefore, the coming of the Lord has started already but not yet finished. It will be finished when we receive the body change. Once in fifty years is a year of Jubilee for the people of Israel. Jubilee means deliverance. The priests will blow the trumpets and all the slaves will be delivered and every one of them shall return to their possessions. Any land or house that has been mortgaged will be delivered and the original owner will take possession of them (Leviticus 25:10). Also, when Israel was in the wilderness, the priests will blow the trumpet to start the journey of the camps of Israel (Numbers 10:1-8). Similarly, the trumpet of the seventh angel which is his message will bring deliverance to the bride from this sinful world and deliverance from the mortal body. The church, which is called the bride will receive the Glorified Body and meet Christ in the air. The foolish virgins will be forsaken and left out in the period of tribulation because they did not receive the Holy Ghost. We can see the differences between the foolish virgins and the wise virgins in Table 4.

XII. Three Stages of New Birth

God cleansed the world by water during the days of Noah four thousand years back. It represents Justification by faith (Romans 5:1). Then two thousand years before, the blood of Jesus Christ was shed on this earth. It represents Sanctification by blood (Hebrews 9:22; I John 1:7). Now it’s the end of another two thousand years. This time God will cleanse the earth by fire and renew it. This represents the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Then God will come with His saints and dwell with them and rule the world for thousand years. Therefore, God redeems the earth in three stages. Similarly He redeems an individual also in three stages – Justification by Faith, Sanctification by Blood and Baptism of the Holy Ghost. The three stages of redemption are shown below in Table 5.

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one” (I John 5:7, 8).

These scriptures are not that which supports Trinity. Instead they reveal the revelation of One God and the mystery of the New Birth. He that has the Father has the Son and the Holy Ghost. He that has the Son has the Father and the Holy Ghost. He that has the Holy Ghost has the Father and the Son. Because, all these three represents one person. They are the three positions or three titles of one God.

But New Birth is not like that. I John 5:8 say “And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” The natural birth has three stages. Similarly, spiritual birth has also three stages. When a baby is born, the water comes out first then the blood and then comes the life or the spirit. Thus a natural birth is completed in water, blood and spirit. When Jesus Christ died, water, blood and spirit came out of His body. Therefore New Birth in Christ is completed in three stages - justification by faith (water), sanctification by blood (blood) and the baptism of the Holy Ghost (spirit). These three agree in New Birth but they are three separate things. New Birth is completed only if these three things are combined. That is, a man can be justified by faith when he believes God and his word. But his new birth is not yet complete. Even he can confess all his sins and be sanctified by the blood of Jesus Christ but still his new birth is not complete. But when God accepts his www.calvarytabernacle.in 50

faith and come and dwell in him in the form of the Holy Ghost and guide him into all truth then we can confirm that he is born again and his New Birth is complete.

Therefore, receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost is New Birth. But one cannot receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost without justification and sanctification. Holy Ghost is the Life of God. Judas Iscariot believed Jesus Christ and followed him in the ministry. He came into first two steps of the New Birth. But he did not receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost. He was justified (John 4:1, 2) and sanctified (John 17:17). He even performed miracles but he was a traitor and a false teacher who betrayed his own Master and committed suicide. Jesus said he was a devil. "Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?" (John 6:70). Therefore he was not born again. His new birth was not completed. Peter’s new birth was incomplete until he received the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost. Before going to Calvary, Jesus said unto Peter: “when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” (Luke 22:32). Therefore we can say Peter was born again or converted only after he was filled with the Holy Ghost.

Speaking unknown tongue is not a sign:

Speaking unknown tongues is not the baptism of the Holy Ghost. It is the least gift of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, speaking tongues is not a sign. The unknown tongues are God’s sign of impending disaster. In Babel, God confounded their languages and they did not understand one another's speech. Then the tower of Babel came to an end (Genesis 11:1-8). Similarly, in the kingdom of Babylon, there came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote on the wall of the palace of King Belshazzar which no man could read or interpret. Then in that same night king Belshazzar’s reign came to an end (Daniel 5:5, 30). Today, the modern Pentecostal denomination speaks in tongues in the same way they spoke in Babel. It is just gibberish and not a real tongue. Neither they can understand what they speak nor the others. It is an uncertain sound. Babylon means confusion; likewise what they speak is confusing. Therefore it’s a sign of destruction or disaster. The tongue which they speak is really a sign of impending destruction of the world.

The modern Pentecostal people misunderstand that speaking tongues is receiving of the Holy Ghost. If you ask one of them if there was a tongues Message in their church last week, and the week before and if he reply "Yes," then ask him, "What did God say?" He will probably not remember, so say to him, "You mean to tell me God actually spoke from heaven to your church, and His precious Word is of such little importance to you that you don't remember what He said??"

If God speaks to a congregation or an individual, He will not quote Scriptures, for that would be a vain repetition, and we already have that in our Bibles. There is no need for Him to repeat Himself. If He speaks, then the Message will be a warning, or something that will come to pass.

Saint Paul has clearly said about tongues in I Corinthians chapter 14. “If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.” (I Corinthians 14:27). www.calvarytabernacle.in 51

If you record the tongues spoken by modern Pentecostal people and hear them, you could hear only a few words repeating all the time they speak. They don’t speak anything other than what they speak regularly. There is no meaning in it and there is no benefit for anyone. It will be in the same manner as it was in Babel when God confounded the languages and they did not understand one another's speech.

Receiving God’s own Life is what the Holy Spirit is. If we accept God’s word by faith then God will come and dwell in us in the form of Spirit and will guide us into all truth. (God’s word is Spirit when you receive it by faith). We can receive the Holy Ghost without any sensation. In Table 6 we can see the difference between the unknown tongues they spoke in the first century and that which is spoken now in the modern Pentecostal denomination.

XIII. Evidence of New Birth

The true evidence of the New Birth is a life lived by a clear revelation of the present Truth – what Jesus Christ is doing now. Saint Peter says “Be established in the present truth” (II Peter 1:12). Not only that but also we have to walk in the light as mentioned in I John 1:7. Walking in the light is to live a life according to the revelation of what Jesus Christ is doing at present. We must be written epistles of the word for THIS day.

If the Message of the Hour is manifested through our life, then we can know without doubt that we have found our position in the body of Christ and we are born again and are sealed by the Holy Ghost unto the day of redemption. Also, if a man is born again, all his desire changes from worldly desire to Godly desire.

The Life of Christ is the token for receiving the Holy Ghost. His Life was in His blood. Today, that Life is in His Word. “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63). The message given for each age is the message spoken by the Spirit for that age. In the message given to each church age, Jesus Christ says “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” (Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 29 & 3:6, 13, 22). That Word brought them the Eternal Life.

In the Laodicean age we live, the message given by the seventh angel will bring us the Holy Ghost which is the Life of Christ and that is the token. Receiving God’s own Life is the baptism of the Holy Ghost. That is the New Birth. The opening of the Seals has brought Christ back to the world in Word form. When we receive Christ in Word form and obey Him then He will come and dwell in us in Spirit form. God’s word is Spirit when you receive it by faith. This is the baptism of the Holy Ghost. “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise” (Ephesians 1:13).

Then our life will be identified with Christ and His word, and with the saints in the Bible. This is the true evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost. This is the evidence of a born again Christian. We shall know a tree by its fruit (Matthew 7:20). We cannot live a life which Jesus Christ lived. But if His own Life is within us then that Life will reproduce the Life of Jesus Christ.

XIV. New Birth is God’s Greatest Miracle in a Man’s Life

Natural birth is a wonder. David says “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance.” (Psalm 139:14-16). Job also speaks of this birth. “Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese? Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews. Thou hast granted me life and favour” (Job 10:10-12). Therefore, the bones, flesh, veins, skin and body parts are created marvelously in the natural birth. New Birth is even more marvelous than the natural birth. God brings His own Life (Eternal Life) in the soul of a born again person. Therefore, that person reproduces the same life which Jesus Christ lived. His desires are not earthly but they are www.calvarytabernacle.in 53

heavenly. He is not deceived by the world, or flesh or devil but lives an overcoming life in Christ. He can bring into captivity every thought of his mind to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:4, 5). He is a new creature. Please continue reading to understand how this is taking place.

New Birth is the revelation of Jesus Christ personally to a man. Lord Jesus Christ was willing to reveal himself to Paul. The same Pillar of Fire that went before the people of Israel met Paul on his way to Damascus. Then he heard a voice from that light which said “I am Jesus whom thou persecutest” (Acts 9:5). He thought that voice will say “I am Jehovah the God of Israel”. Since it said Jesus, he understood that the Jehovah of the Old Testament is Jesus Christ of the New Testament by this experience. When he went to Arabia and searched the Old Testament it was like a new book to him. He www.calvarytabernacle.in 54

understood that the Law and the prophetic books reveal Jesus Christ only. Since then he boldly preached that Jesus is the Christ and Jesus is the Lord. Jesus Christ revealed himself to Paul by His word. That changed his life completely. This is New Birth. Similarly, Jesus Christ revealed himself to the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:26). In the same way He revealed himself to Nathanael, Simon Peter, Zacchaeus and many others. That changed their life completely. This is God’s greatest miracle in their life.

God is omniscient. He knows His children before the foundation of the world. They were a thought or an attribute in the mind of God. For example, before a baby is born, it is in its father as a Germ of Life. When it is born it reflects the image and nature of its father. Then the father and the baby are delighted by having fellowship with each other.

New Birth is also like that. God’s children were in the mind of God as a Spiritual Gene of God before the foundation of the world. God’s thoughts are eternal. They are real. God never changes His mind. It will come to pass in God’s designated and decreed time and season. Man cannot make it void. God makes those children to be born according to His predestinated time. And when the time appointed comes, He gives them an opportunity to hear the message of the angel given for their age. As soon as they hear the message, their soul catches the message eagerly. That word is the revelation of Jesus Christ. God reveals them in their heart. He speaks in their heart saying “This is the truth; this is the Eternal Life and hold fast to it”. They hold fast to it and unite their soul with that word. God accepts their faith and fill them with His Spirit. When they receive Him in Word form, He come and dwell in them in Spirit form. This is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. They become the living tabernacle of the living God. God guides them into all truth (John 16:13). They are born of God. They are the sons and daughters of God manifested in flesh from His thoughts. Now they are delighted in having fellowship with Him in the Spirit by the word of God and prayer. It’s a father son relationship.

No one of us living in the flesh can keep or do according to the Lord’s commandments. Therefore, He Himself come and dwell in us in the form of the Holy Spirit and help us to keep his commandments and do according to them. “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh; And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them” (Ezekiel 36:26,27). God fulfills this scripture in our life. He makes us live by His word to be a witness or a testimony to the world and to meet the challenge of this hour. He also gives us an assurance that we came from God and we go back to God as Jesus said (John 13:3). We will meet Him in glory after serving His purpose in our life. He will give us Body Redemption and we will be glorified. We will live with Him in His kingdom forever. This is His Bride Church which loves Him. Lord Jesus Christ comes to glorify this church and take her up in the air. “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified” (Romans 8:30).

For those who are elected and predestinated before the foundation of the world, God places His Seed Gene in their soul when they are born on the earth from their mother’s womb. That seed remains in them always. But it is in a dormant condition until they get an opportunity to hear the word. When www.calvarytabernacle.in 55

they hear the word, that seed is quickened by the Holy Spirit. And then they are fed with the word continuously and the Holy Spirit gradually grows and overcome their own spirit fully and then they come to a position where Christ Himself is living in them. These are the ones who have received the Holy Ghost. Only those who have this experience have received the New Birth. Saint Paul had this kind of experience. That’s why he says “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). As mentioned in image 9, the portion which is in black completely goes off and becomes white. When the Holy Ghost which is dwelling in us is constantly fed by the revealed word of God, all our carnal nature completely goes off and we get an experience of being filled with the attributes of the Holy Ghost. Our body becomes the temple of the Holy Ghost. We exhibit ourselves to the world as a living tabernacle of the living God.

XV. The Events That Will Happen Hereafter

1. Tsunami in America:

An extensive area of 1500 miles long and 400 miles wide which includes Hollywood, Los Angeles, San Francisco and other cities in California on the west coast of America will sink upside down 40 miles under the Pacific Ocean as a result of a great earthquake such as was not since men were upon the earth. The coastal cities all over the world will be affected by a Tsunami because of that earthquake. Brother Branham’s ministry was very powerful in Los Angeles. Spiritually deep messages were given there. Numerous miracles and signs took place. But still the people of that city did not pay heed to the Word of God. Therefore, prophet Branham said unto that city “Thou city, who claims to be the city of the Angels, who's exalted yourself into heaven and sent all the dirty filthy things of fashions and things, till even the foreign countries come here to pick up our filth and send it away, with your fine churches and steeples, and so forth the way you do; remember, one day you'll be laying in the bottom of this sea”. Even in the Bible it is written very clearly about this earthquake and Tsunami. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found (Revelation 16:18,20). And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all (Revelation 18:21).

Jesus Christ did plenty of miracles in Capernaum. Truth was preached there to a great extent. Yet, the people of that city did not accept or receive Christ. Therefore Jesus said unto that city “And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day” (Matthew 11:23). He cursed that city. After 300 years the city of Capernaum sunk under the Mediterranean Sea. In the same way, Los Angeles will go one day down under the Pacific Ocean.

2. Rapture:

Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many (Matthew 27:50-53). All these were the Old Testament saints who were waiting for the First Coming of Christ. Since Christ was not revealed in their days they died in faith. When Christ resurrected, they also resurrected from the dead and for about forty days they were on the earth and then ascended up to heavenly places with Jesus on the fortieth day.

A similar thing will take place in the Second Coming of Christ. Since Christ did not come during the seven church ages, the saints of those ages stayed with the message of the age they lived and died in faith. During the Los Angeles earthquake, these saints will rise from the dead. This is the first resurrection. Those who take part in this are blessed and holy (Revelation 20:6). They will be here on earth for a certain period after their resurrection. Then the Lord will transform the bride church (the saints that are born again by the word promised for this age) in a twinkling of an eye and they shall be caught up together with the resurrected saints in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (I Thessalonians 4:16,17). “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (I Corinthians 15:51,52).

3. The Reign of Anti-Christ:

The world will last only for seven years after the bride of Jesus Christ is taken up in the Rapture. It is mentioned in the Bible that the Anti-Christ will rule the world during that period (Daniel 9:27). That Anti- Christ should be the last Pope of Roman Catholic Church. It is expected that the Anti-Christ will arise from America. The economy of America will be severely affected as a result of the Los Angeles earthquake. The value of the US dollar will go down badly. Therefore, the economy of the world will decline sharply. Anti-Christ will come forth in this situation to put things right. As the Share market of America is under the control of Jews, the Anti-Christ will make a covenant with the Jews (Daniel 9:27). In this situation Russia will invade America. Then Anti-Christ will interfere and make peace. Therefore, he will be appointed as the world leader. Now the world is already expecting a One World Government. It is called the New World Order (NWO). The Anti-Christ will fulfill it. Then there will be only one religious policy, one economic policy and one political principle throughout the world. Anti-Christ will acquire religious power, political power and demonic power and will rule as a peerless world leader.

4. The Battle of Gog and Magog before Millennium:

As a result of the earthquake in Israel the Mount of Olives will be divided into two. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of www.calvarytabernacle.in 57

Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south (Zechariah 14:4). The Mosque of Omar will crumble. So the Jews will try to build there the Temple of God. So the Arabians will invade against it with the help of Russia. During this war, the Lord will stand for the Jews and do the battle and Israel will have a great victory. The Israelites will defeat the Russian army and will chase them until Moscow. This battle is called the Battle of Gog and Magog. We can read in Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39 about this battle.

5. Two Witnesses:

The Gentile dispensation comes to an end after the bride is taken up. The Lord will deal with the people of Israel. He will send two prophets to them to preach the truth. These two will have the same kind of anointing as that of Moses and Elijah. The word of God describes them as “Two Witnesses”. During the period of the Anti-Christ, these two witnesses will preach the truth unto the Jews for a period of three and a half year or thousand two hundred and sixty (1260) days (Revelation 11:3). The same message which was given to the end time bride will be given to them also. 144,000 (Hundred and forty four thousand) Jews will be sealed by the Holy Spirit by hearing the message of the two witnesses. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel (Revelation 7:4).

As Moses was given power over the waters to turn them to blood, power will be given to these two witnesses to turn the waters to blood. As Elijah commanded fire from heaven to consume his enemies these two also can do the same thing to them that hurt them. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will (Revelation 11:6).

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the Anti-Christ shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city Jerusalem. And they of the people and kindred and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half by means of television and computers. And shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them (Revelation 11:7-12).

A plan against the word of God will be devised during that period. It will be a very inviting proposition held up in direct opposition to God's commanded Word, and yet from the standpoint of human reasoning it will be very right, so enlightening and life-giving as to fool the world. Only the very elect will not be fooled. The temptation will come as follows. The ecumenical move that has started on what seems such a beautiful and blessed principle (fulfilling Christ's prayer that we all might be one) becomes so strong politically that she bears pressure upon the government to cause all to join with her www.calvarytabernacle.in 58

either directly or through adherence to principles enacted into law so that no people will be recognized as actual churches unless under direct or indirect domination of this council. Little groups will lose charters, privileges, etc., until they lose all property and spiritual rights with the people. For example, right now unless the local ministerial association approves in many, if not most cities, one cannot rent a building for religious services. To become chaplains in the armed services, hospitals, etc., it is now almost mandatory to be recognized as acceptable to the Trinitarian ecumenical groups. As this pressure increases, and it will, it will be harder to resist, for to resist is to lose privilege. And so many will be tempted to go along, for they will feel it is better to serve God publicly in the framework of this organization than not to serve God at all publicly. But they err. To believe the devil's lie is to serve Satan. But the elect will not be deceived.

Furthermore, the saints will be gone in the Rapture by the time this organization which is the World Council of Churches (WCC) become the Image of the Beast (Revelation 13:15, 16). And this little movement that started out in fellowship at Ephesus will become the monster of Satan that defiles and deceives the whole world. For the church system of the Roman Catholic and the Protestant in coming together will control the whole wealth of the world system and force the whole earth into its religious trap, or will kill them, by refusing them the privilege of buying and selling whereby they would make a living (Revelation 13:16, 17). This will be accomplished simply, for the harlot's daughters are all but gone back to her. The Roman Catholic Church is the spiritual harlot (Revelation 17:5) and her daughters are the Protestant churches. In the meantime, Rome has acquired nearly all the supplies of gold. The Jews have the bonds and all the paper. At the right time, the harlot will destroy the present day money system by calling in all the paper, and demanding gold. With no gold, the system falls. The Jews will be trapped and come into the alliance, and the harlot church will take over the whole world.

Anti-Christ will break the covenant which he made with the Jews. He will sit in the temple of God showing himself as God and will be worshipped (II Thessalonians 2:4). He will command to put on the mark of the beast. All those who do not accept the mark of the beast will be killed. 144,000 Jews will be killed. They will seal their testimony with blood (Revelation 12:11).

6. War of Armageddon:

Many battles have been fought in the world so far. All the battles will end in the battle of Armageddon. This is the Third World War. And this is a Nuclear War. Satan will get ready for the battle of Armageddon by gathering the Catholics and the Protestants from all directions of the world and all that is in the World Council of Churches (Revelation 16:16). Christ with His saints will also descend from heaven for the battle. They will be riding on white horses (Revelation 19:11, 14). White horse represents the vindicated word.

Russia will attack America with atom bombs and America will be fully destroyed. The seventh vision of prophet Branham will be fulfilled. The ten countries in the European Union will have one mind, and will give their power to the beast. They will come under the power of the Pope (Revelation 17:12, 13). After a short period, they all will unite together and shall hate Romanism (Revelation 17:16). They will seek the help of Russia. And Russia will drop an atom bomb on Vatican City and Rome will be www.calvarytabernacle.in 59

destroyed in one hour (Revelation 18:10, 19). Then the nations will rise against each other dropping atom bombs on one another and the whole world will melt with fervent heat. The whole world will burn as an oven and shall be reduced to ashes (Malachi 4:1). Then God will cleanse the world with a supernatural fire. Volcanoes will burst. The outer surface of the sinful world will go down into the earth. The lava in the center of the earth will come to the top of the earth. In this manner, the Lord will cleanse the world for the millennial reign.

7. The Millennial Reign:

One day is with the Lord as a thousand years (II Peter 3:8). Lord God created the world in six days. God sanctified the seventh day and rested in it (Genesis 2:2, 3). We are laboring against sin for about six thousand years. The seventh day is the Millennial Reign. We will be at rest in it. There will be no sin, no sickness, no ungodly, no war and no more government of man. The Satan and his angels will be kept bound in hell. All the ungodly and wicked will be in hell. Only peace, joy and righteousness will be there in that kingdom.

The kingdoms of the present world are in the clutches of Satan. The message of the seventh angel will finally bring the kingdom of Christ to the earth. As it is written in the book of Daniel, the stone that was cut out of the mountain without hands broke the image into pieces (Daniel 2:44, 45). That stone is the message revealed by God. That is the message of the seventh angel. That is the perfect revelation of Lord Jesus Christ. The world has reached the end time after the opening of the seven seals. Kingdoms are tumbling. And the world is falling apart.

Satan tried to offer this modern and sinful world to Christ. He wanted Christ to worship him for that. But Jesus rebuked him saying “Get thee hence, Satan: Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve” (Matthew 4:8-10). In other words, Jesus said unto Satan: “This world is mine. Adam lost it by sin. I will pay the price and redeem this. I will cleanse this world and receive this. Get thee hence, Satan”. He shed His blood on the cross of Calvary and redeemed this world. He is going to purge it with fire and receive it.

Today, the earth is travailing to bring forth a new world. The whole creation groans and travails in pain to be redeemed and restored to their original state (Romans 8:22). Adam and Eve were driven out of Eden because of sin. When there is an end to sin, we will inherit this world with Christ for a period of a thousand years. Then the world will be as Eden. The cow and the bear shall feed together. The lame shall leap like a deer. The people shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea (Isaiah 11:2-9).

The wilderness shall bloom and flourish. Only the elected people will be there. They are, the Old Testament saints, the New Testament saints, the end time bride who was taken up alive in Rapture and 144,000 Israelites. Only they will rule with Christ in the Millennium. They will not rule man, but the nature.

8. Great White Throne Judgment:

The General resurrection takes place after the Millennial reign. All that is in the graves shall hear the voice of the Son of God and shall come forth (John 5:28, 29). This is the second resurrection. Those who did not take part in the first resurrection will take part in the second resurrection. Jesus Christ will be sitting on a great white throne. His bride will be with Him sitting on the thrones. The dead, small and great will stand before God (Revelation 20:12). Ten thousand times ten thousand will stand before him (Daniel 7:9, 10). He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divide his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left (Matthew 25:32, 33). The books shall be opened. Those who have their names written in the Book of Life shall have Eternal Life. They represent the sheep on the right hand. Those who do not have their names written in the Book of Life represent the goats on the left hand and they will have condemnation.

The Satan and his angels will be loosed out of the prison after the Millennium and then they will be judged and will go into condemnation. They shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death (Revelation 20:11, 12, 15 & 21:8; Matthew 25:41; Jude 1:6)

We need not stand before God in the Day of Judgment if we judge or discern ourselves now itself by the message and surrender to His word and receive the experience of the New Birth. We will judge the world along with Him. We will grant Eternal Life to the sheep and condemnation to the goats (I Corinthians 6:2, 3).

9. Battle of Gog and Magog after the Millennium and the Lake of Fire:

As the time nears for Satan to be cast into the lake of fire, he will stand against God in the final battle. That battle is the battle of Gog and Magog which takes place after the Millennium. It is mentioned in Revelation 20:7 – 9. “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”

In the White Throne Judgment the sheep will receive the Eternal Life and the goats will receive the condemnation. This mob of goats is the serpent seeds mentioned above whose number is as the sand of the sea. As they cannot tolerate the judgment pronounced on them they gather themselves together and come against the Lord and His people. Satan who was loosed from the prison will lead them in the battle. He will gather together all unbelievers and shall go out against God to do the battle. These unbelievers include all kinds of unclean spirits, those who are not written in the Book of Life and those who were blotted out from the Book of Life.

And they will go up on the breadth of the earth, and shall compass the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: And fire will come down from God out of heaven, and shall devour them (Revelation 20:9). The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God (Psalm 9:17). But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and www.calvarytabernacle.in 61

idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death (Revelation 21:8). These scriptures will be fulfilled. There they will be tormented forever. Their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched (Mark 9:44).

Finally, Satan the devil that deceived them will also be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death (I Corinthians 15:26). The name of the devil is Death (Revelation 6:8). Death will be cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:14). The spirits of the devil cannot be burnt in an ordinary fire. So, the spirit of all these will be burnt in a supernatural fire. Therefore, we see that Satan which is called the devil is finally cast into the hell. He shall never be any more (Ezekiel 28:19).

When Joshua and the Israelites fought against the Amorites, the Amorites were defeated and fled before them. The Israelites destroyed them. And the five kings of Amorites fled, and hid themselves in a cave. Joshua heard this and rolled great stones upon the mouth of the cave and set men by it to keep them. After he utterly destroyed the Amorites, he brought the five kings out of the cave and smote them and slew them (Joshua 10:16-27).

In the same manner, Lord Jesus Christ will cast Satan finally into hell after he turns the spirits of the devil into hell and all the nations that forget God. Satan is the one who has the power of death (Hebrews 2:14). So it will happen according to the saying “Leaders always die last.”

10. Eternity:

We read in the Bible about the New Heaven, New Earth and New Jerusalem. There shall be no more sea (Revelation 21:1, 2). New Jerusalem is a city whose length and the breadth and the height are 1500 miles each. The street of the city is pure gold. And the walls thereof are precious stones. It has twelve gates and every gate is of one pearl. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all.

Only those which are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will enter into that city (Revelation 21:10-27). That is to say, only those who are born again by the word shall dwell there. This is the city which is prepared by the heavenly bridegroom Jesus Christ for His earthly bride, the church. The Saved people shall walk in the light of it and shall dwell on the new earth.

And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. All things are made new. And everlasting joy shall be upon them. The perfect love of God shall stay forever. Lord Jesus Christ and His saints will be in the glorified form having eternal fellowship. All these events can be seen in image 10.

Conclusion:

Therefore, beloved brother and sister, please discern yourself while you are reading this small book. If you feel in your heart that “I should love Jesus Christ; I should be born again; I should be born of the Word and of the Spirit; I should receive the Eternal Life; I should receive the true baptism of the Holy Ghost; I should inherit the kingdom of God and should be taken up in the Rapture by escaping the oncoming period of tribulation, destruction of the world, death and hell” then it means the Lord is speaking to you and He is calling you. So please do not tarry or harden your heart but believe the truth and submit yourself immediately to receive the Holy Spirit.

Leave your sin and the deceiving religious dogmas and the sleight of men and the denominational creed and return back to the Word. Confess your sin unto Christ and repent (I John 1:9). Jesus says “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4). “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38).

I would like to say that the period we live shall be very short. All the events foretold will come to pass very quickly one by one. Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven (Hebrews 12:26). Yes, the Lord will shake the earth once more and all that will be shaken. And then He will renew the earth. On Good Friday, in March, 1964, the earthquake happened in Alaska shook the whole world. By this earthquake, the Lord warns about the greatest shaking (Los Angeles earthquake) that is going to strike very soon. My dear brother and sister, the Lord will destroy this sinful world and renew it. Only those who are under the protection of the Lord shall withstand this shock. when the grace of God is readily available now. As a faithful Shepherd, He will take care of you, protect you and present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Amen.
