APPLICATIONS The COMPACT CUBE® PARALUME®/“CC” for Biax and PL lamps is a high perfor- mance recessed, compact fluorescent downlight. The development of the com- pact fluorescent lamps and the resulting increase in lumen output have provided new possibilities for reducing the size of the fixture itself. With these specially designed compact cubes, LEGlON puts the user in a position to benefit from the best possible advantag- es of the new compact fluorescent lamps. Well suited for Stores, Banks, Offices, Corridors, Lobbies, Hotels, Restaurants and Display Areas.

SPECIFICATIONS 2 LAMPS 3 3 11 /4" x 13 /8" HOUSING: Die-formed of code gauge steel, rigidly fabricated, and electri- cally welded throughout to insure true and perfect alignment. Overhang design permits use of 24 watt and 27 watt lamps.

SOCKET PLATE/REFLECTOR: Socket plate die-formed of code gauge 1 steel, mounted securely to fixture housing and readily removable for 5 /2" maintenance. Reflector securely mounted to housing, formed to optically correct contour to provide maximum efficiency, minimum surface bright- ness, and removable for access to wiring without the use of tools. DIFFUSER: Retained in place for correct optical positioning by means of *12" x 12" 1 1 torsion springs, permitting ease of access for relamping and servicing by 12 /2" x 12 /2" pulling down on diffuser. SEE SHlELDlNG MEDlA for diffusers available. 3 BALLAST: Single and/or Two or Three lamp ballast for Octron, Twin Tube, 13 /8" Quad Tube and 2D lamps, for 118 volt 60 Hz operation, class “P”, (con- sult factory for other voltages and frequencies). QUICK-WIRE ACCESS PLATE: Permits wiring without opening fixture, includes two 7/8" K.O’s and grounding screw. QUICK-MOUNT BRACKETS: Die-formed of 16 ga. steel suitable for use with standard 3/4" and 11/2" Lathing Channels (by others) or optional Mounting Bars (see options). Adjustable from within housing. *12" x 12" MOUNTING: For mounting in Exposed Grid, Concealed Spline, Gypsum 1 1 12 /2" x 12 /2" Board and Plaster ceilings, designed to integrate into most standard ceil- ings. HOUSlNG MUST BE lNSTALLED BEFORE COMPLETlON OF FlNlSHED 3 LAMPS CEILING. 3 13 /8" FINISH: All steel components parts are completely protected against rust and discoloration after fabrication through an automated conveyorized multi-stage phosphate bonding process. Finished with an electrostatic baked white polyester thermosetting powder coating. Antimicrobial paint finish available, CONSULT FACTORY. This electronic computer controlled integrated system assures consistent 88%+ reflectance efficiency and maximum durability.
