These, however, may constitute important safe havens for saproxylic organisms since forest reserves are relatively numerous in Europe. Saproxylic beetles are among the key groups for the assessment of biodiversity in forest habitats and longhorn beetles may play an important role in bioindication as they are ecologically associated with various micro- habitats and considered a very heterogeneous family of insects. To study the role of forest reserves as important habitats for saproxylic beetles, we compared cerambycid assemblages in corresponding pairs of sites (nature reserves and managed stands) in a forest region under high anthropogenic pressure (Upper Silesia, Poland, Central Europe).

Munis Entomology & Zoology, 5 (2): 380-498] ABSTRACT: All taxa of the tribe Dorcadiini Latreille, 1825 in Turkey are evaluated and summarized with zoogeographical remarks. Also Dorcadion praetermissum mikhaili ssp. n. is described in the text. KEY WORDS: Dorcadion, Neodorcadion, Dorcadiini, Lamiinae, Cerambycidae, Coleoptera, Turkey. The main aim of this work is to clarify current status of the tribe Dorcadiini in Turkey. The work on Turkish Dorcadiini means to realize a study on about one third or one fourth of Turkish Cerambycidae fauna. As the same way, Turkish Dorcadiini is almost one second or one third of Dorcadiini in the whole world fauna. Turkish Dorcadiini is a very important group. This importance originated from their high endemism rate, and also their number of species. However, the information on all Turkish Dorcadiini is not enough. The first large work on Dorcadiini species was carried out by Ganglbauer (1884). He evaluated a total of 152 species of the genus Dorcadion and 13 species of the genus Neodorcadion. He gave 30 Dorcadion species and 4 Neodorcadion species for Turkey. Then, the number of Turkish Dorcadion species raised to 53 with 23 described species by Heyden (1894), Ganglbauer (1897), Jakovlev (1899), Daniel (1900, 1901), Pic (1895, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1905, 1931), Suvorov (1915), Plavilstshikov (1958).

G u t o w s k i Kózkowate (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) Roztocza [Z 4 tabelami i 2 rysunkami w tekście] A bstract. On the basis of the materials collected from 1986 to 1990 in Roztocze Upland (SE Poland), an analysis of museum collections and literature data 103 species of Cerambycidae were recorded (108 species if the Ukrainian part of Roztocze included). In the Roztoczański National Park 80 species of Cerambycidae were recorded. Agapanthia cardui parmonica K r a t o c h v il , 1985 was now given a status of subspecies. WSTĘP Kózkowate należą do najlepiej poznanych grup chrząszczy w Polsce, poświę cono im bardzo dużo publikacji faunistycznych, zwłaszcza na początku XX wieku. Jednak większość z tych prac ma charakter przyczynkarski, a popra wność oznaczeń w niektórych z nich budzi wątpliwości. Wiele danych wymaga sprawdzenia i aktualizacji. Podobna sytuacja miała miejsce w odniesieniu do obszaru Roztocza. Gór Świętokrzyskich i Puszczy Białowieskiej. Szcze gólnie interesujący wydawał się problem, na ile fauna omawianego regionu nawiązuje do fauny kózkowatych w regionach górskich. Pierwsze informacje o kózkowatych polskiej części Roztocza pochodzą od N o w i c k i e g o (1870, 1873) i Ł o m n i c k i e g o (1886), którzy podali łącznie 8 gatunków z Korni (Roztocze Południowe).

The responses of spider and beetle assemblages to the fire event were travniška stepa, poletni požar. different. In the first post-fire year, the same beetle species dominated burnt and unburnt plots, the alpha-diversity of beetle assemblages was similar, and there were no pronounced changes in the proportions of trophic groups. Beetle species richness and activity density increased in the second post-fire year, while that of the spiders decreased. The spider alpha-diversity was lowest in the first post- fire year, and the main dominants were pioneer species. In the second year, the differences in spider species composition and activity density diminished. The main conclusion of our study is that the large-scale intensive summer fire caused no profound changes in cursorial beetle and spider assemblages of this steppe plot. Mitigation of the fire effect is explained by the small plot area, its location at the edge of the fire site and the presence of adjacent undisturbed habitats with herbaceous vegetation.

Updated 02.03.2021 REMARKS #1 Some authors regarded Vesperus serranoi as a synonym of V. conicicollis; according to Vives (2000) V. conicicollis = V. baesuriensis. According to C.Pesarini and A.Sabbadini (2004), V. ligusticus is a species; V.strepens litigiosus, stat. nov. was established, that was not accepted by E.Vives (2004). According to Vives (2004): V. conicicollis hispalensis Fuente, 1901 = V. baesuriensis Zuzarte, 1985; V. bolivari Oliveira, 1893 = V. reitteri Cameron, 1912 V. strepens ssp. ligusticus Vitali, 2001 is accepted. V. s. litigiosus (as V. strepens m. litigiosus was recorded for Italy (Vitali, 2005). According to P. Berger and G. Sama (2006) V. strepens = V. litigiosus = V. ligusticus. Vesperus aragonicus was recorded for France (Comelade, 2000). V. barredai Verdugo, 2009 close to V.bolivari was described from Sevilla (Andalusia, Spain), Monforte (Alto Alentejo) and Coruche (Ribatejo) both in Portugal. #2 Callimus (Procallimus) semicyaneus Pic, 1905 described from Greece (Mt. Taygetos) was supposed for Macedonia (Mikšić & Georgijević, 1973: 45) and shown for Macedonia by Bense (1995: 233 – as Callimus egregius) without any arguments. C. semicyaneus was recorded (Adlbauer, 1988: 280) for “westlichen Kleinasien” without exact localities. #3 The tribe system of Lepturinae (with Rhamnusiini, Oxymirini, Enoploderini and so on) is more or less agree with P.Švácha (1989 in Švácha, Danilevsky, 1989) divisions, though P.Švácha joined Rhamnusium and Enoploderes in one tribe. Rhamnusiini, Oxymirini and Enoploderini were named by Danilevsky in “A Check-list …” (Althoff and Danilevsky,1977) with the refrences to the characters published by Švácha (1989 in Švácha, Danilevsky, 1989), so are available according to the Art.
