Membership of the panel will then be analysed and eventually plans put in place to target under-represented groups where possible. This work is essentially on-going. In 2013 the panel was analysed and was found to be unrepresentative when compared to 2011 Census data. However, a recruitment drive and marketing campaign were launched in January 2014 and there has been a steady take-up of membership since that time to date. Skills learned by Cranstock members improves their chances of finding paid work. Cranstock is part of the Growth Team which are based at the pavilion in Woking Park and work in partnership with Woking Borough Council.The team work hard 5 days a week, skills learned by the team improves their chances of finding paid work. The Growth team do a wide range of gardening activities, including looking after rights of ways footpaths & ground maintenance at Woking Park.
