Music event schedule listed below: Join my team today & receive Fruita Fall Festival co-headliner, The 2 Source Cards for FREE - Value $50 Georgia Satellites, will be rocking the night away with some good ole fashion southern rock-n-roll at the Friday night street dance! Call 970-234-4657 The Southern rock band was founded in Affiliate ID: 48236267 1985 out of Atlanta, Georgia and held a #2 spot on the charts with the surprise hit single, ‘Keep Your Hands to Yourself’, for several weeks, only playing second fiddle to Bon Jovi’s ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’. The Georgia Satellites released another top hit in 1988 with the song ‘Hippy Hippy Shake’ which was featured on the movie Cocktail. The band broke up in late 1989, only to reunite again in the 90’s minus one band member, who had joined another group. The Georgia Satellites is sure to bring an exciting rock vibe and energy to Fruita!

The second festival co-headliner, Darryl Worley, is a popular Country singer out of Tennessee who has been a favorite among country music fans for going on 15 years. He will be performing an intimate acoustic set at the Saturday night street dance! Worley has had 18 hit singles and 3 songs that have topped the country charts. Darryl Signed to DreamWorks Records Nashville in 2000 and released four for the label. Worley has also spent a good deal of his career giving back to the men and women overseas doing their job to keep our country safe.

Following the tragic events of 9/11, Worley penned the heartfelt “Have You Forgotten,” which became the biggest hit of his career. The song remains one of the most anticipated highlights in his live shows. He also recognizes the importance of giving back every opportunity that he can through his annual charities that has funded organizations such as the Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center in Savannah, Tennessee. “We’ve managed to do a lot by the grace of God over the past 15 years,” notes Worley. “We’re having the biggest years of fundraising now just because we’ve learned how to do it. It’s just a very positive thing that we’ve been able to accomplish.” Grand Valley music lovers will not be disappointed in this show!
