Tuition Deposit Required? No

Residential Colleges send deposit invoice directly Accommodation Deposit Covered by Smith? to Smith as a prepayment. Other housing deposits are paid by student as they are refundable. Caution Fee and Deposit fees for International House are both refundable, so are paid by the student.

Tuition: Tuition Invoicing sent directly to Smith.

Accommodation: Students should notify their housing that Smith College is their sponsoring institution so they will send invoicing directly to Smith. If invoicing is sent directly to the student they must forward it on to the Budget Coordinator.

Accommodation Expectations: Housing is guaranteed through either the university-affiliated Residence Colleges or the Melbourne Accommodation Program. We recommend applying for both by the posted deadline in your acceptance materials. The Residential Colleges are catered, dorm-style housing, however space is limited. Previous Smith students have had successful experiences at Janet Clark Hall, St Mary's College and International House.

The Melbourne Accommodation Program provides apartment-style housing through private residence halls. For these options, students may choose options of a room in a shared flat (apartment) with either a shared or private (en suite) bath and self- catered cooking facilities (i.e. you cook your own meals).
