Pierce RFQ No. 2017-023 for the redevelopment of the former H.D. King Plant site. Established in 2010 and based in Tampa, FL, Framework Group is a real estate development, consulting, and contracting company focused on high quality multi- family rental housing in exceptional urban neighborhoods. The Framework Team consists of seasoned real estate professionals, each with extensive and diverse industry experience. Framework’s Representative Projects demonstrate the team’s skilled and thoughtful approach to the development business, with each project setting the standard for quality within its submarket. While Framework focuses nearly exclusively on multi-family development, the potential of the H.D. King site as a mixed use development cannot be overlooked. As such, the Preliminary Development Program that follows includes the diversity of uses that this site deserves — a 200-unit apartment community, 120-room hotel, 34,000 SF conference center, and ground level retail and restaurants lining Indian River Drive. A program so ambitious will certainly take the collaboration and cooperation of a number of parties, including additional developers and the City of Ft. Pierce. We propose that Framework acts as Master Developer on the project, responsible for carrying out the residential development and overseeing the eventual Master Development Program in partnership with the City of Ft.

  • Distribution of Encrusting Foraminifera at Mayaguana, Bahamas: Determining Assemblage Composition and Relationship of Test Size and Density to Food Availability
Distribution of encrusting foraminifera at Mayaguana, Bahamas: Determining assemblage composition and relationship of test size and density to food availability by Eric Eubanks A Thesis Submitted to the Graduate Faculty of Auburn University in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree of Master of Science Auburn, Alabama August 4, 2018 Keywords: Encrusting foraminifera, paleoecology, meiofauna, actualistic paleontology Copyright 2018 by Eric Eubanks Approved by Ronald D. Lewis, Chair, Associate Professor, Department of Geosciences Charles E. Savrda, Professor, Department of Geosciences Anthony G. Moss, Associate Professor, Department of Biological Sciences Abstract Benthic foraminifera that are cemented by calcium carbonate or are otherwise firmly fixed to hard surfaces are known as encrusting or attached foraminifera. Relatively few actualistic studies focus on the use of encrusting foraminifera as paleoenvironmental indicators compared to the vast literature on free foraminifera. However, their sensitivity to environmental factors such as light and water energy and the fact that they are fixed in place and therefore are likely to remain in the original habitat after death makes encrusting foraminifera valuable in paleoecology. Previous research on San Salvador and Cat Island, Bahamas, has created models for the density and occurrence of these encrusting foraminifera on carbonate platforms. The data in this study, which focuses on nearby Mayaguana, are compared to those of the previous experiments done on San Salvador and Cat Island. Cobbles were collected by both SCUBA and snorkeling at seven different sites that ranged from nearshore reefs to shoals to mid-shelf patch reefs and the platform margin. The sites vary considerably across localities regarding the size, density, and relative proportion of encrusting foraminifera.

THE MIDWIVES ASSOCIATION OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS ALL HONOUREES & FAMILIES AT OUR OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS Jn 2004, Yvonne Bain, Judith Sawyer, Judith Clarke and Lydia Johnson attended a Midwifery Today Confer ence in Philadelphia. They were truly inspired and intrigued by what they experienced. Following the conference they met with the President of the Midwifery Today Magazine Jan Tritten and invited her to The Bahamas to hold a conference. Ms. Tritten was enthusiastic and immediately accepted the invitation, "Who wouldn't want to come to The Bahamas?" Ms. Bain along with her colleagues Jennifer King, Cleola-mae Hamilton, and Ella Anderson started putting plans in action to host the first international conference in The Bahamas. A Midwifery Conference was held in The Bahamas from September 22-26 , 2005, under the theme: Sharing The Culture ofBirth. The conference was a resounding success. Many countries were represented, and the association had the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Minister Obie Wilchombe, Ms. Valerie Miller, The Royal Bahamas Defence Force, and many others. Attendance was excellent and the Bahamian Midwives rose to the occasion with their presentations and hospitality. The first meeting of the potential organization was exciting and historical. Twenty -five midwives attended that meeting. The conference served as a catalyst to form the Midwives Association of The Commonwealth ofThe Bahamas. The following Midwives were selected to make up the initial executive team: * Ella Anderson - President * Shirley Curtis- Vice-President * Valerie Miller- Secretary * Karol Mackey- Asst. Secretary * Yvonne Bain -Treasurer * Monique Lewis- Chaplain The team started meeting regularly to put in place the Goals, Objective, Vision and By Laws of the Association.
