Activities of the SASA Library Under the Law on the Library and Information Service, the SASA Library is one of the five pillars of the unified library and information system of the Republic of Serbia. In 2012, in order to fulfil its legal obligation, the SASA Library signed the Agreement on the Full Membership of the Library in the COBISS.SR Library and Information System with the Centre of the Virtual Library of Serbia (which is responsible for managing the shared database and COBISS system) within the National Library of Serbia. In this way, it formally became part of the shared catalogue of the Republic of Serbia (i.e. the online catalogue that includes the catalogues of 222 libraries in Serbia). During 2019, the SASA Library created 3,111 bibliographic records in the shared catalogue and took 4,567 bibliographic records from it. Thus, the COBISSANU database now has 68,223 records.
