According to him, this protection can only occur if our regulatory bodies and stakeholders including the consumers work in an integrated way, thereby building consumer confidence in the safety of our food products. 'We should be careful with the source of the food consumed' he intimated. He further evinced that findings from the Conference should help eradicate food borne illnesses, eliminate poor hygiene practices and that food poisoning should not be attributed to superstition. He made reference to recent cholera outbreak as caused by, lack of knowledge, attitude and illiteracy. He assured the University of the Regional Coordinating Council's support in dealing with the canker. He challenged the organisers and the University to propose workable solutions to the menace of insanitary conditions and food contaminations for implementation. Ghana's progress in achieving MDG7 as a country has been slow due to poor sanitation and weak enforcement of laws. Proceedings of Conference should be published in educational journals. He was sure that at the end of the Conference we would come out with strategies to achieve SDG 2,3 and 6. The workshop was organized to help the local photographers to better their skills in photography and also to stay in business. The advent of digital phones has invariably affected the income of many local HTC LAUNCHES photographers as many people prefer to take pictures with their tablets and phones.
