FACULTY A C T I V I T I E S c o r n e r NERISSA EDEM FACULTY SCHOOLED ON LAWRENCIA ANKU RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION Nerissa Edem Anku is a Mechanical Engineer specialized in the area of Energetics and Environment. She longs to build a world class career in Solar Energy Technology with a goal to help address the challenges of Africa's energy sector. She is also a STEMinist, a Motivational Speaker and a Climate Change Advocate. Miss Anku obtained both her Master of Science degree in Energetics and Environment, and Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Université Mohammed Bougara de Boumerdès in Algeria. She also holds a Diploma in French Language Proficiency awarded by the French Ministry of Education, Certificate in Renewable Energy Technologies, Certificate in French Language from the Université Saad Dahlab de Blida and Certificate in Stand-alone Solar PV System Design, Installation & Maintenance. After her second degree, she served as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering of the University of Energy And Natural Resources, Sunyani. During this period, she contributed to projects undertaken by the department including sustainability of biogas production in the Brong-Ahafo Region and Purdue Improved Crop Storage by the he Technical and Vocational Education Research Centre International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA).
