LOLLAPALLOZA - TESTING PROTOCOLS
In accordance with City of Chicago requirements, full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results will be required to attend Lollapalooza 2021. For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 72 hours of attending Lollapalooza. When to get tested
For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, you must get tested and have a negative result no more than 3 days prior to each day of attendance.
For example: o A negative test 3 days prior the day 1 of Lollapalooza will allow you to attend on day 1, but not on day 2. To enter on day 2, you will need another negative test result, obtained within 3 days of entry. What type of test result do you need?
The test must be a COVID-19 viral test (nucleic acid amplification test [NAAT] or antigen test) with Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Self-tests (sometimes referred to as home test) and rapid tests are acceptable as long as they are FDA-EUA approved viral tests and are accompanied by printed documentation of results.
Printed evidence of negative test result much include:
Type of test Entity issuing the result (e.g. healthcare entity, laboratory, manufacturer) Specimen collection date. Information that identifies the person tested: full name and date of birth
Test kits are not acceptable evidence of negative result. Negative test with the information above must be printed. Where to get tested
