Il sera l'un des piliers du style de la PEUGEOT 205 et deviendra directeur du design de la marque de 1998 à 2007. L'habitacle futuriste pour l'époque sera lui dessiné par Paul Bracq. La base du châssis est issue d'une mythique 205 Turbo 16, tout comme son moteur, poussé pour l'occasion à 600 chevaux.
