Resettlement Partners

Founded in the 1880s to help resettle Jews fleeing persecution, HIAS is the world’s oldest refugee agency. Today, guided by our Jewish values and history, we bring more than 130 years of expertise to our work providing services to all refugees in need of assistance, regardless of their national, ethnic, or religious background. One of nine resettlement agencies authorized by the United States federal government, HIAS contracts with the Department of State to resettle refugees in 12 states and more than 20 cities across the U.S. through non-profit resettlement partners.

Kent HIAS works with non-profit resettlement partners Framingham Springfield to ensure services for Ann Arbor Bualo Madison Westchester Toledo Cleveland New York City refugees, including Pittsburgh Philadelphia Columbus Wilmington housing assistance, Walnut Creek Los Gatos English language learning,

Charlotte medical screening, and employment assistance. Our resettlement partners San Diego collaborate with state and local offices along with other community stakeholders

Clearwater like congregations and social service organizations to ensure integration and success of new refugee arrivals.
