Peak District Timetable Amendment March 2019 SEPTEMBER 2018 Amendment No.2 March 2019 Amendment No.2 : March 2019 This booklet details all the changes that have been made, or are about to be made, to the bus services shown in the September 2019 Peak District bus timetable book, and replaces Amendment No.1. Items marked are new since Amendment No.1. Updated route maps and town plans can be viewed and downloaded at www.derbysbus.info DETAILS OF ALTERATION ( indicates an entry which is new since Amendment No.1) 6·1 34-36 Monday to Saturday : The short journeys between Matlock and Wirksworth have been slightly re-timed and no longer serve Willowbath Lane, Bournebrook Avenue or County Hall; see pages A5 and A6. Sunday : See the revised timetable on page A7. 65 45 Monday to Saturday : The High Peak Buses service has been withdrawn completely. 65 46-47 Monday to Saturday and Sunday : See the revised timetable on pages A8 and A9. 66 48 Monday to Saturday : The service 65 connection from Tideswell to Buxton (arriving 1520) is no longer available. Journeys run by Stagecoach (marked ) run via Great Hucklow village, calling at the Old Chapel, and have been very slightly re-timed. FROM 1st APRIL – Monday to Saturday : A revised timetable will be introduced, and some journeys will be extended to serve Chesterfield Railway Station and the Royal Hospital – see pages A10 and A11. 170 60-61 Saturday : The early morning buses at 0755 from Chesterfield and 0735 from Baslow to Chesterfield now run on Saturdays as well as on Mondays to Fridays. Sunday : The Sunday timetable has been revised – see page A12. RAIL SERVICES TO BARNSLEY - NORTHERN RAIL Barnsley Interchange is a modern transport hub located just a 15 minute walk from Oakwell. The station is served by trains running between Leeds, Huddersfield and Sheffield. From the interchange, turn left and away from the town centre and head towards and then under the bridge that the dual carriageway runs across. Once under the bridge, cross the road carefully and turn left up the slip road before taking the first right turn onto Queens Road.

If you and your GP decide that you need to see a specialist for more treatment, you can now choose where and when to have your treatment from a list of hospitals or clinics. Why has patient choice been introduced? Research has shown that patients want to be more involved in making decisions and choosing their healthcare. Most of the patients who are offered a choice of hospital consider the experience to be positive and valuable. The NHS is changing to give you more choice and flexibility in how you are treated. Your choices Your local choices are included in this booklet. If you do not want to receive your treatment at a local hospital, your GP will be able to tell you about your choices of other hospitals across England. As well as the hospitals listed in this booklet, your GP may be able to suggest community-based services, such as GPs with Special Interests or community clinics.
