Ferguson was also the host of the syndicated game show, “Celebrity Name Game,” for which he was awarded the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host two years in a row. After several stints on the English comedy circuit, Ferguson brought his act to the US in 1995 when he starred with Marie Osmond and Betty White in the short-lived ABC sitcom, “Maybe This Time.” After the show ended, the network decided to add the talented Scotsman to “The Drew Carey Show” where he joined the cast in 1996 playing the role of Drew’s boss, “Nigel Wick” for eight seasons. Along with acting, he has written such feature films as The Big Tease (1999) and Saving Grace (2000). He made his directorial debut with the 2003 film, I’ll Be There which he also wrote and starred in.
