FOTONICA is the 20th Italian National Conference on Photonic Technologies. The Conference is the meeting place of the Italian Photonic Community where the most advanced achievements of research in photon- ics are presented and discussed. The Conference cov- ers all aspects of photonics, with a particular emphasis on applications in several fields, including telecom, sen- sors, energy saving, lighting and health.

FOTONICA will be structured in three days of techni- cal sessions that will include review-papers and original contributions (oral and poster presentations) relevant to the general Conference themes. There will also be plenary sessions, panels and symposia on the state of the art and the future expectations in the field of pho- tonics, including the national and international initia- tives under development.

FOTONICA 2018 is aimed at an audience of profes- sionals active in photonics, including researchers, man- ufacturers and technology users, as well as analysts and investors interested in this sector. Special conditions will apply to encourage the participation of students of specific university courses.
