The cut-off lap times (lap time bracket) will be determined statistically, to provide for a balanced field and number of riders within each class. These will be announced via ASR. • Any rider that throughout the year consistently dips into the laptime bracket of the next faster laptime bracket, will be added 5-seconds per each 1-second per lap that they are faster than the bracket time; alternatively, they can choose to instead upgrade to the next upper time bracket. Definition of ‘Consistently’ in this context for MSF SuperMoto: - In 1 race, two (2) ‘allowance’ laps or 20% of the laps of a race, are permitted up to 1.000 second into the next upper bracket; strictly no lower even if just 0.001 second. Example: bracket is 48.5s – 52s, racers are permitted 2 laps up to 47.500. Once the rider does either (i) faster than 47.500 then will be added 5-seconds for that lap, or (ii) another lap – more than 20% of the permitted allowance, then the 5-seconds per 1-second each lap will be added. • Qualifying Allowance: only ONE (1) lap of up to 0.500 seconds into the lower time bracket during Qualifying; if you did that twice, or more than that 0.500 second, you will be immediately upgraded to the next bracket. 4 7. • Starting Supermoto
STARTING SUPERMOTO Supermoto was originally conceived as something like an all-star game, in which the best riders from the three separate genres of motorcycle racing - road racing, flat track and motocross - could temporarily leave their normal race class to come together and compete for the title of best all-around racer. Today supermoto is a distinct genre of its own and riders in the other classes do not routinely cross over into supermoto. Races are commonly held on road racing or medium-sized go-kart tracks with an off-road section in the infield. Most supermoto race tracks have a tarmac size of 50-75% and the remaining percentage of the course is off-road. The dirt sections are usually constructed of packed clay and feature motocross style obstacles like bermed corners and jumps. Unlike road racing, the emphasis lies on slower speeds on short, technical tracks. Here, where flat-out acceleration and high top-speeds are less common, rider skill can more easily overcome a disparity in machine performance. Riders wear a mixture of road race and off-road equipment; normally road racing leathers and gloves, and motocross helmets and boots. We recommend buying helmets from new which must bear the ACU gold or silver stamp (prices start from around £30). Everything else can easily be picked up online second hand from as little as £10 for boots/gloves and £50 for leathers. The motorcycles used are frequently custom-created combinations of off-road motorcycles and road-racing wheels/tires. Full-size Supermoto-ready bikes start around £2000 second hand.

This was largely 300 achieved through a consistent weight reduction and a high-tech FX construction that concentrates all the moving engines masses as 450 compactly and as close to the bike’s centre of gravity as possi- ble. The main target in the development of the bikes was to get the best handling 4-stroke on the market, as FS close to a 2-stroke as possible. That was achieved, but the engineers also had to face the fact, that there are 570 some riding conditions where a 2-stroke does still have its advantages. That’s why the next step was to add 2-stroke models to the Husaberg model range. INNOVATION Husaberg products are always taking that extra, courageous step forward in their technological development. This force for innovation springs from a deep understanding of the sport and the riders’ needs. UNDERSTATEMENT / DIFFERENCE At a first glance, every vehicle is an understatement, not a show-off. All the details are designed to improve the rideability of the bike, they all have a purpose. This makes Husaberg different and very exceptional. Just like the people who buy this brand. COMPETITION Husaberg has its roots in the racing world.

2021 RULEBOOK 2021 AMA Racing Rules Governing Pro/Am, Standard, ATV and Youth Competition An exclusive service to members of the American Motorcyclist Association The American Motorcyclist Association takes pride in its long record of achievement as the world’s largest sanctioning body for the sport of motorcycle competition. Since 1924 the objectives of the Association have been the same: to foster strong and fair competition, to provide reasonable guidelines for the various types of competition, and to provide an impartial competition program. The rules of competition are intended only as a guide for the conduct of the sport pursuant to uniform rules. Rules related to safety are made to make everyone concerned with safety. However, the AMA neither warrants safety if the rules are followed nor compliance with the enforcement of the rules. Moreover, each participant in competition has the responsibility to assess the safety aspects of facilities and conditions and must assume the risk of competition. Recognized and non-recognized districts, and organizations within a district, must submit any temporary or locally appropriate supplemental regulations for approval by the AMA Racing Department. Supplemental regulations may not be in conflict with national rules. In the event of a protest or appeal, the judgment will be based on information contained in the AMA national rules. Contact the AMA at (800) 262-5646 for the address of your district office. The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) prohibits discrimination in all of its programs and activities (including all AMA-sanctioned events) on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, religion, sex, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, familial status, parental status, sexual orientation, or any other category protected by applicable state or federal law.
