Hon Martin Aldridge to the Minister for Education and Training I refer to the Minister's visit to Geraldton on 15 February 2018, and I ask: (a) how did the Minister travel to and from Geraldton; (b) who accompanied the Minister whilst travelling; (c) what meetings, functions, events or similar did the Minister attend whilst in Geraldton; (d) who attended each of the meetings, functions, events or similar; ( e) did the Minister receive or create any docnments during, or in preparation for the meetings, functions, events or similar; (f) what were the documents identified in (e), and will the Minister table those documents; and (g) if the Minister will not table the documents in (e), please provide the reason for withholding information from Parliament? Welcome to Champion Bay Senior High School! It seems that this has been so long in coming. November 2015 was when the first announcement was made to create a new Years 7-12 campus on this site. So much has happened since this time, not the least being the near completion of the $20M building project. Last week a former student called at the Administration Office to collect a younger sibling and did not know where they were standing. That’s how much the site has changed in just two years. The total changes include: • The Technologies Centre – named the John Willcock Technologies Centre in recognition of the contribution to the state of WA made by the Premier John Willcock during the 1930s and 1940s, • The Dance Studio, • The Music wing including new practice rooms, • A new Administration Centre and cafeteria, • The construction of the school green – an area that is used by so many students and staff.
