Changes to Local Bus Services due to Closure of Station Bridge

from January 2015

The following changes will be made to bus services during the closure of Polmont Station Bridge for engineering works from 12 January 2015.

Service 1 (Hallglen – – Whitecross) First Service 1 will split routes at Redding Cross to maintain services to Redding Main Street/Salmon Inn and Meadowbank. Clockwise and anti-clockwise loops via the A801 will allow passengers to continue to travel from Maddiston/ to/from Meadowbank Health Centre. Please note that Service F25 (see page 2) also provide links from Brightons to Meadowbank Health Centre.

1 A First Service 1 will operate a split route from Redding Cross: To Whitecross Rumford and Linlithgow 1  , Service 1 will operate from Redding Cross directly to Maddiston via 1 C Brightons and return to Falkirk via the same route. Service 1 will not serve Redding Main Street.

 Service 1A will operate from Redding Cross directly to Maddiston Maddiston A801 via Brightons and return via the A801, Polmont, Salmon Inn Road and Redding Main Street to Falkirk. Service 1 Falkirk to Maddiston  Service 1C will operate from Redding Cross via Redding Main Street, Salmon Inn Road, Polmont and the A801 to Maddiston and return Service 1A to Falkirk directly via Brightons and Redding Cross. An‐clockwise loop For passengers from Brightons/Maddiston to Meadowbank Health Service 1C Bowhouse Clockwise loop Centre: Roundabout  Use Service 1A to get to Meadowbank Health Centre

Service 13 (Middlefield – Falkirk – Shieldhill – Polmont) First Service 13 will operate from Newlands Road to Redding Cross, Redding Main Street, Salmon Inn Road to Gilston Park and then via the normal route. This diversion will operate in both directions.
