30 valley youth house ANNUAL REPORT 2014 ANNUAL REPORT 2014 valley youth house 31 Like a lighthouse offers guidance and a safe harbor to ships, Valley Youth House offers assistance, shelter, and protection from abuse to children, youth and families. Several youth served by Valley Youth House, along with counselor Elyse Coldren and visiting artist Teer1 Art, came together to design and paint a mural with these qualities in mind. The mural, located in the reception area of our Independent Living Program office, welcomes every visitor as they walk through our doors.
