We are happy to welcome in our unique Alpine spa in Arosa. The PRÄTSCHLI Alpine Spa Hotel is located high above the roofs of Arosa. Enjoy the panoramic views over the snowy mountains and observe the mythical nature while your body, soul and mind can take time out and rediscover an inner equilibrium.
The PRÄTSCHLI Alpine Spa offers a wellness area of 650 m2. Take a rest in the sauna or the steam bath, or enjoy the mountain views in the relaxation room. We provide several wellness and massage treatments. You will also find a gym with modern fitness devices. Find your silence and peace in our relaxing pool, which is equipped with massage showers and whirlpool beds. The perfect setting to indulge your senses after a day of winter sports.

PROTECTION CONCEPT AND SAFETY MEASURES AGAINST THE EXPANSION OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
In these challenging times, we want to ensure that you may spend your holidays in Arosa without any risks and created a protection and hygienic concept for the security of our guests and employees. These measures and safety precautions are conformable to the regulations, which are determined by the Swiss Department of Health. Due to changing developments in this pandemic, there may be short-term changes in these measures.
Despite all safety measures, there is always the possibility of being infected by the Covid-19 virus and we hereby disclaim liability. We also refuse financial reclaims, e.g. for restrictions in our offers.
If you travel from a foreign country, there is the possibility that Switzerland puts your land of origin on the list of risk areas with quarantine obligation. The same could happen when you travel back home and your land of origin demands quarantine for travellers from Switzerland. We offer our hotel's annulations cost insurance, which covers cancellations costs for hotel nights in these cases. The price for this insurance is 3% of the total price of your stay. If you have your own travel cancellation insurance, please inform about a possible insurance coverage by your insurance company.
In advance, we want to thank our guests for their understanding and the implementation of the safety measures. If you have any questions, we are, of course, always at your disposal.

PUBLIC AREAS AND GENERAL CODES OF BEHAVIOUR - In the entire hotel's interior, there is a mandatory use of face masks. Also in our restaurants, our guests have to wear face masks until they are at their seats. Of course, all of our employees are wearing face masks as well. - In all public areas (lobby at the entrance, hotel hall, bar, restaurants, bathrooms, smoker's lounge etc.), disinfectants are at your disposal. In general, we ask you to pay attention to thorough hand washing and to disinfect your hands whenever entering one of the public areas. - In the entire hotel, our housekeeping staff have intensified the process of cleaning and disinfecting. - If you enter our public bathrooms, please be informed that a maximum of 2 adults are allowed within the bathroom. - Please do not use our lift together with other groups of guests. - At the reception area we ensure, that there are always 2 employees at your disposal during peak times. We also ask our guests that only 2 different groups of guests are standing at the direct front desk area. - If you wish, our porters bring your luggage in your room or pick it up from your room. Of course, our employees wear gloves and a mask. - Please pay attention to a general minimum distance to other persons of 1.50 m. - If you should be tested positive to Covid-19 within 2 weeks after your stay with us, you are obligated to inform us immediately.
SHUTTLE SERVICE WITH OUR HOTEL BUS - As in public transport there is a mask obligation, we also ask our guests to wear a mask in our hotel bus. Of course, also our drivers wear masks as well as gloves. - Please use the disinfectant before entering the hotel bus. - If you do not have a mask of your own, we provide masks for you.
GUESTS' ROOMS - Our housekeeping staff always wears masks and gloves. - The cleaning of the rooms as well as the couverture in the evening is only happening during the guest's absence. If you want no cleaning service at all, please put the red sign in front of your door or inform our reception staff. - The guests' rooms are being aired and disinfected every day. - Please also use the disinfectants available in your room.

BEHAVIOUR IN OUR RESTAURANTS AND IN OUR HOTEL BAR - Please pay attention to the mandatory use of face masks in the entire hotel's interior. As soon as you have taken your seat you may take off the mask. - Before entering one of our restaurants or the hotel bar, please use the provided disinfectants. - In order to guarantee the minimums distance between several groups of guests, the tables also have a minimum distance of 1.50m. - If bigger groups of guests want to have seats next to each other, please attend the orders of our employees, who will try their best to respond to your wishes. - Before every walk to the breakfast buffet, please use the disinfectants. If you see that there are serveral people standing at the buffet, please wait a moment until you go. - If you order room service, we will deliver the ordered food and drinks to the door of your hotel rooms. We only enter your room on request.
ALPINE SPA / BEAUTY CENTER / FITNESS ROOM - We kindly ask you to respect the mandatory use of face masks, also in our spa area. Inside the sauna, the pool or on the deck chairs and seats you may take off your mask. - Before entering our Alpine Spa, our Beauty Center or our fitness room, please use the available disinfectants. - Please pay attention to the maximum of persons in all areas and try to maintain the minimum distance to other persons. - Our staff controls the quality and hygiene of water every day. - After using the fitness devices, we ask all of our guests to disinfect them after using.

The fiduciary duty to our guests and employees has highest priority to us and we keep you updated about possible adjustments and new measures. SPA ETIQUETTE
SPA WEAR In your room, you will find a bathrobe, bath slippers and a bath towel. If you wish a fresh bath towel, we ask you to put the used one on the floor in the bathroom so that our housekeeping staff can exchange it. The elevator takes you to the spa area, floor -1. There are sauna towels and small hammam towels ready for you. Shower equipment is located in the shower areas. If possible, please do not take any valuables and mobile phones with you in the spa. There are disposable panties available for the spa treatments.
SAUNA WEAR For hygienic reasons, our sauna area is a textile-free area. Please use your sauna towel during the sauna sessions, so no sweat gets on the benches. Please use the provided water hoses to clean the benches before and after your steam bath visit. Taking a shower before and after each steam bath and sauna session is mandatory.
REST AND RELAXATION Our wellness area serves to relax and unwind. Out of consideration to other spa guests, we kindly ask you not to bring your mobile phone and to speak quietly.
CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS IN THE SPA ARE Children from 14 years of age have access to the relax pool if accompanied by an adult. Access to the sauna is given to teenagers from 16 years of age when accompanied by an adult. In consideration of other spa guests, we kindly ask you to monitor your children's behaviour in the relax pool. Parents are responsible for their children.
FITNESS The gym may only be entered if you are wearing appropriate clothing and indoor sneakers. Please make sure you disinfect the fitness devices after your use. For safety reasons, only persons from 16 years of age are allowed to exercise in the fitness centre. The fitness area is not supervised - parents are responsible for their children.
SMOKE-FREE The entire spa and fitness area are smoke-free.

MAKING AN APPOINTMENT We recommend you to book your spa treatment a few days in advance to be able to meet your desired date. You can reach us by sending an email ([email protected]) by phone (+41 81 378 80 80 / intern 91) or in person at our hotel or spa reception. Our masseur will be happy to advise you about the different kind of massages. Please inform us at the time of booking of any potential health problems. Injuries, allergies and intolerances, high blood pressure or pregnancy can affect the success of the treatment.
MEETING POINT Please come to our Beauty Centre a few minutes before your appointment, so you arrive relaxed and on time, so you can enjoy your pampering programme. Please take a shower before your massage or body treatment, because it relaxes, cleanses the skin and ideally prepares you for our treatments.
DELAY Please inform our hotel or spa reception in case of any delay. Please understand that your spa reservation can be reduced accordingly. But in that case, the full nominal price will still be levied.
CANCELLATION If you are not able to make it to your appointment, please notify us up to 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you will be charged for the service you booked.

RECEPTION / TELEPHONE Our reception is open 24 hours. You can reach us at the internal telephone number 100. If you need an additional pillow or blanket, please inform the reception, we will bring it to your room. We also can change your bed linens daily. If you want to use our shoeshine service, just put your shoes in front of your room. We are happy to do small sewing jobs for you.
For external telephone calls, please contact the reception.
GUEST CHECKS May we kindly ask you to sign all the guest checks from the bar and the restaurants.
PARKING May we ask you to park your car on the parking lot behind the hotel. For an extra charge, we also have a limited number of parking spots in our garage, which are at your disposal.
Please do not park your car on the numbered parking lots next to the turning circle. These are reserved for public parking and are being charged.
CHECKOUT / DEPARTURE On the day of your departure, may we ask you to check out at 11.00 am. In case you are planning your departure for the afternoon and the room will not be occupied again the same day, we could certainly grant an extension of your checkout time. Please contact the front desk in advance.

SKIS AND BOOTS
You can put your skis and boots in the ski room on the floor -1. Each room has its own box. For your ski boots please use the ski boot drier available in the ski room. Please ensure that the toe-ends of your ski boots are pointing upwards. It will be heated during the night. We do not take any responsibility for any loss of equipment in our ski room. Please make sure that you take the right boots, to avoid mix-ups.
CHILDREN'S PAYING ROOM Our children's playing room is available for all kids. An exciting movie can be shown in our Children's Cinema after 7.00 pm on request.
For older children we also offer table tennis and PlayStation2.
SKISCHOOL INCLUSIVE AND LUNCH-BUFFET After the great success of "ski school – free of charge" during the last few years, the project continues this winter. Your children (until the age of 17) can join class instruction in the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School. Information and the voucher are given at the front desk.
In addition, we offer another "plus": we invite all our young guests (until the age of 17) and their parents to the lunch buffet in our Locanda during the sports' holidays in February!
PRÄTSCHLI SPORT The sports shop is located in-house: ski and snowboard rental, comfortable service and sale without any loss of time and a competent consultation of the specialised staff. Test the latest models - without any detours directly on the slopes!

OUR RESTAURANTS
DINING ROOM Our maître d'hôtel, Mr Daniele Pedone, is responsible for our service department. We serve meals at the following times:

Our half-board guests will have their dinner in a festive atmosphere. For culinary variety, we provide a 5-course gourmet menu. Be surprised by the creations of our kitchen team and enjoy being pampered by our service.
For food intolerances, please contact the reception or the chef de service, we will be happy to meet your wishes!
Please note that we cannot give you any deduction if you dine in a restaurant outside our hotel.
RESTAURANT SERENATA The Serenata is our day restaurant and it is open from 11 am to 5 pm. Choose your lunch from our big offer of food in our menu or enjoy a small lunch menu, which changes daily. In the afternoon, we would like to surprise you with delicious homemade pastry from the hotel. Depending on the weather conditions, we also welcome you on our sunny terrace.
RESTAURANT LOCANDA Our cosy restaurant with an abundant «rustic and classic» choice of dishes and beverages is located on the basement. Our piano player "Giulio" is entertaining you from 8 pm daily. We gladly serve food daily starting 6 pm. Enjoy a bit variety and dine in the Locanda instead of having the half pension menu in the dining room. You may select your personal menu of choice or have a fine meat fondue. Please inform our front desk staff about your reservation wishes until 12pm.
RESTAURANT PRÄTSCHLI-STALL Our "Prätschli Stall" is open daily from 3 pm and invites you with an original après ski bar with a romantic chimney as well as our Fondue & Raclette restaurant on the upper floor.

HOTELBAR Where beautiful evenings start and end... A popular meeting place for our guests is the bar in the hotel lobby. Here you can start a nice evening with an aperitif or end your day with a special nightcap.
FUMOIR / SMOKERS LOUNGE All our rooms and restaurants are part of the non-smoking area. In order to enjoy your cigarette or cigar in a comfortable ambience, we offer our smoker's lounge in the hotel lobby. There you will also find our humidor with a wide choice of cigars.
BÜNDNER NUSSTORTE Have you already tried our special nut's cake "Bündner Nusstorte"? You can order this local speciality two days before your departure and take it with you as a souvenir.

AROSA
AROSA BUS The Arosa Bus, which is free of charge, brings you to the village of Arosa and back and runs every 20 minutes during the day (-.18 / -.38 / -.58). Starting 8.10 pm, you may take the night express, which runs every 30 minutes (charge of CHF 3.--). A detailed bus timetable can be found in our hotel lobby. If you have questions, please contact our staff at the front desk.
AROSA BÄRENLAND The Arosa Bärenland is an experience for young and old. The two bears Amelia and Meimo have been living here since February 2019. When visiting the platform at the middle station of the Arosa Weisshornbahn, you will learn about the history of the bears' pasts as well as many other exciting bear facts.

WINTERSPORTS AREA AROSA LENZERHEIDE The snow-secure snow sports area Arosa Lenzerheide convinces with 225 prepared kilometres of slopes up to 2'865 m above sea level. Wide slopes on which curves with large radii are drawn or steep slopes in order to get right into the edges make the hearts of winter sports fans beat faster. Offers, such as full moon skiing or Early Bird, lure for very special mountain experiences. Arosa Lenzerheide is now the largest connected ski area in Grisons and is one of the top 10 in Switzerland.

"HONIGLAND PRÄTSCHLI" The "Honey Land", located at the Prätschli Lift has been an enormous success during the last few years. With a 45m long belt-conveyor and the Prätschli T-bar lift itself a new and free beginner's are was created.
