Dear MTSU Fraternity and Sorority Life Community,

Thank you for your support and commitment throughout the past year! The MTSU fraternity and sorority community continues to make great strides. Our office has been so impressed with the high caliber of students and chapters we serve.

The purpose of this report is to provide you with a comprehensive glance of where we’ve been and where we’re headed! Below are some of our community highlights:

Our FSL chapters contributed $60,199.98 to local and national charities and donated 22,535 service hours to MTSU and Rutherford County.

Over 614 fraternity and sorority members made the Dean’s List during the 2012-2013 academic year.

Several new programs and initiatives were launched, all of which serve a specific purpose related to the needs of our community, such as: community image and branding, governing council structures, health and safety of chapters and community members, entire member development, and leadership development opportunities for community and chapter leaders.

As we begin the 2014-2015 academic year, it is our hope that we can keep the momentum going and work together to advance fraternity and sorority life at MTSU. We are so appreciative of our partnership with students, staff, faculty, alumni volunteers, and international headquarters. With these relationships, we are able to provide students with a valuable fraternity and sorority experience at Middle Tennessee State University.

Interfraternally,

Donald Abels Coordinator
