Bu taksonların 25’i Türkiye için endemiktir. Endemik türler Red Data Kategorilerine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Endemik taksonloardan 5‟inin LR (Lc), 1’inin LR (cd), 1’inin DD, 3‟ünün CR, 3‟nün VU, 1‟nin LC ve 2”nin EN tehlike kategorisinde yer aldıkları görülmüştür. HARRAN herbaryumunda bulunan Fabaceae familyasının takson açısından zengin cinsleri Astragalus L. (42), Medicago L. (34), Trigonella L. (25), Trifolium L. (22) ve Vicia L. (18)’dır. Bu çalışma sonucunda, Hedysarum syriacum Boiss., Onobrychis armena Boiss. & Huet., Alhagi pseudalhagi (M. Bieb.) Desv. ex B. Yıl (Beşevler) Campus. As a result of the study, a total of 445 taxa belonging to 281 genera from 79 different families were determined. From Gymnospermae subdivision, 31 taxa belong to 14 genera of 5 families were determined. From Angiospermae subdivision, 57 taxa from 10 families belong to Monocotyl group, 356 taxa from 63 families belong to Eudicot groups, and 1 taxa from 1 family (Nymphaceae) Non-Eudicot basal group were determined. The eight of the determined 445 taxa are endemic for Turkey with the ratio of 1,8%. In addition, 151 of the taxa in the campus area are woody (trees or shrubs) and the remaining 294 taxa are annual or perennial herbaceous plants. In addition, 266 of the taxa in the campus area grow naturally, but the remaining 179 taxa are not natural (plantation or cultivation). CONSERVATION OF CROP WILD RELATIVES’ DIVERSITY IN THE FERTILE CRESCENT By Wathek Zair A thesis submitted to the University of Birmingham for the degree of DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY Supervisor Dr Nigel Maxted School of Biosciences College of Life and Environmental Sciences The University of Birmingham October 2019 1 University of Birmingham Research Archive e-theses repository This unpublished thesis/dissertation is copyright of the author and/or third parties. ABSTRACT This thesis aims to enhance the conservation of CWR diversity in the Fertile Crescent. CWR are species of plants that are genetically close to cultivated crops. They are important sources of plant genetic materials that can be used for crop improvements. The Fertile Crescent is an important centre as it is a centre of crop domestication. Finding CWR in the Fertile Crescent region was carried out through creating a checklist of CWR, prioritisation, collecting passport data, ex-situ and in-situ gap analysis, climate change analysis, and threat analysis. A priority list of 220 CWR taxa was established following 12 prioritisation criteria. The priority list was revised and a new priority list consisted of 441 CWR were established. 23,878 occurrence records were collated.

Kholodny Institute of Botany, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine 2 Tereshchenkivska Str., Kyiv 01004, Ukraine Abstract. The article provides a synopsis of the tribes Cicereae, Trifolieae, Lupulineae, Crotularieae, Genisteae of Fabaceae subfam. Faboideae in the flora of Ukraine, with nomenclatural citations, types (for most of them), and main synonyms. It is based on a critical analysis of available data on taxonomic, morphological, and molecular phylogenetic studies. The tribes Trifolieae (10 genera, 100 species) and Geniste (9 genera, 41 species) are best represented in the flora of Ukraine; least represented are Cicereae and Crotularieae (each by a single genus and species). The placement of the genus Ononis in the tribe Trifolieae is confirmed. The feasibility of splitting Trifolium s. l. into few smaller genera is not always consistent with molecular data, which indicates that most of these taxa are polyphyletic (Amoria, Lupinaster, Xerosphaera) or form paraphyletic groups: Bobrovia = sect. Glycyrrhizum, or Ursia = sect. Lupinaster. However, in our taxonomic treatment of Trifolium s. l. for the flora of Ukraine, we accept three segregate genera (Trifolium L.
