Pablo Vergara, Piano Producer, pianist, and Pablo Vergara is an award-winning who has performed across four continents. A classically- trained pianist in his native Chile, Vergara moved to New York to study with some of his heroes like Barry Harris, Ron Carter, and Bruce Barth. Since then he has worked with artists like saxophone legend Gato Barbieri, Grammy winners Dave Valentin and Paquito D’Rivera, Turkish music masters Hüsnü Şenlendirici and Omar Faruk, Claudia Acuña, Fred Wesley, Edmar Castañeda, Alain Pérez, Bebel Gilberto, Mino Cinelu, Zigaboo Modeliste, Keith Carlock, and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. Vergara composed and produced the score for Alejandro Fernández Almendras’ To Kill A Man, winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival and Dutch Circle of Film Critics Award at Rotterdam Film Festival. Performance credits include Newport Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, Kennedy Center, Istanbul Is Sanat, Paris’ Le Zenith, New York’s Central Park SummerStage and Australia’s Sidney Festival, among many others.

Dan Loomis, Bass An established creative force on the New York music scene, Dan Loomis is a sought-after player, constant collaborator, and innovative composer. Called “a forceful and creative bass player (Cadence) and “double-teaming you with style and substance,” Loomis has created a stir with his playing and as a bandleader. He performs extensively across the world with his own band, The Dan Loomis Quartet, his collaborative projects, The Wee Trio and Spoke, and as a sideman with diverse ensembles such as the TS Monk Sextet/Tentet, Gary Burton, Vadim Neselovskyi Trio, Wycliffe Gordon, Ernesto Cervini Quartet with Joel Frahm, Laurence Hobgood Trio, David Bixler Quintet, The Respect Sextet, Howard Fishman, Jay Collins, and Belly of a Drunken Piano. His work as a sideman has seen him performing in New York’s most prestigious venues including The Blue Note, Jazz Standard, Birdland, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. He has also toured extensively though the Western and Eastern Europe, Canada, Australia, China, and throughout the US.

Karel Ruzicka, Saxophone Award-winning saxophonist, composer and producer Karel Ruzicka Jr. was born in Prague, Czech Republic into a musical family. His mother was in the Czech opera and his father, Karel Ruzicka, is a well-known jazz pianist, composer and educator. Ruzicka studied piano and flute from age five at Prague Conservatory and the Conservatory of Jaroslav Jezek. Since emigrating to the US in 1997, he has studied with Barry Harris, Charles Blenzig, and Grammy winners Bob Mintzer and Joe Lovano. Ruzicka began his professional career at 16 as leader of The Four, performing at clubs, jazz competitions, and festivals in Europe. He was a featured soloist with Big Band Radio Prague and recorded with the prestigious European Broadcasting Union Big Band. Ruzicka is a featured soloist with the Karel Ruzicka Quartet in Europe and the US. He performed with the Roy Hargrove Quintet in Europe and with Wynton Marsalis and members of the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. He toured the US with R&B legend Ben E. King, jazz singer/songwriter Michael Franks, and the great drummer/ composer Jeff “Tain” Watts. He is a highly sought after performer and recording artist with , Ravi Coltrane, Joe Locke, Nellie McKay, Benny Reitveld (bassist for and Santana), and Michael Franks.
