New Mills has a wonderful community spirit with lots of events to bring everyone together throughout the year.

Each September there’s the New Mills One World Festival. Two weeks of gigs, talks, walks, exhibitions, competitions and performances, it culminates in an amazing lantern procession and street party.

The New Mills Carnival in June brings the town alive too with a vibrant parade and funfair.
