DANCE A 9:20 AM You will also need to present your Clear to Go Green Badge on the app. ACTING A 9:30 AM * Parents – please only have 1 guardian accompany the student to limit street traffic PLEASE NOTE, your punctuality is essential. Your advisor will be checking you in quickly and bringing you up the elevators. Do not be late! ACTING A 10:20 AM - Orientation for Acting A and Dance A (Studio 17N) VOICE C 11:00 AM * Voice Groups A & B will review their Dance Placement combinations (learned before the Intensive!) with BAA Dance Faculty during this time. (Studio 17E) 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM PLACEMENT AUDITIONS / SHOWCASE PLACEMENT Voice Groups A & B (Studio 17E) Acting Group A (Studio 17I) Dance A (Studio 17N) Please prepare TWO contrasting 16 bar pieces (e.g. Please prepare TWO brief contrasting Dance Majors: Please choose to audition with ONE up-tempo/ballad, legit/belt) Be sure to bring your monologues. Your selections should be song and/or ONE monologue (or both) sheet music! (In addition, singers may prepare one approximately one minute each. For Sign Out – One parent may come up to the 17th floor studios to sign their student out. You must screen on the Clear to Go app before arrival and show your green badge to a BAA Staff member upon arrival. Please arrive PROMPTLY at your student’s group’s designated sign out time to keep elevator and hallway traffic clear. If students are 13+ and elected to be unescorted on their Medical and Housing Release Forms, they may sign themselves out at the end of the day. 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Private Coachings for Dance Majors – Studio 17D (In-Person at Ripley Grier) You will receive your exact coaching appointment times for the week by the time of Orientation. You may either stick around or leave the studio and return at your designated time! 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Private Coaching for Voice A, Voice B, and Acting A with a BAA Staff Coach – via Zoom You will receive your exact coaching appointment times for the week by the time of Orientation.
