Booked: --- ***Wensleydale Monkey Business go to half time with a 1-0 lead, but the Apocalypse tur ned everything around in the second half. Pirates Wannabe watch out - they're now only one point ahead of Grunts, chasing for survival from behind.

Gangsters United - Batt in Blax 5 : 1 Scorers: Svarte Petter (3., 18., 35., 46.), Tony Blundetto (57.) ***James Marshall (61.) Booked: --- ***Andre Adams, James Marshall The Mobsters were weakened by suspensions, but it didn't seem to matter much - full control at Sicilia Stadion.

Mishima Zaibatsu - World Ambassadors 3 : 2 Scorers: Kazuya Mishima (15., 48.), Asuka Kazama (4.) ***Scott Troemel (71.), Paul M. Brillantes (23.) Booked: --- ***Scott Troemel The Stabbers had several players out, and struggled to keep up with the tempo at the Iron Fist Tournament. Despite a late game reduction of MZ' lead, no points earned.

Camarilla Divided - Call of Cthulhu 3 : 0 Scorers: Raymond "Knowhow" Ash (13.), Catherine 'Secrets' Blum (73.), Paige 'Heihei' Duff (86.) ***--- Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Sent off: --- ***Fthaggua (46.) Booked: --- ***Ghoul, Mi-Go, Ythogtha Generation X was actually quite lucky to lead the game by half time, but after Fthaggua was sent off instantly for leaving his shorts behind in the dressing room, they owned the second half and won quite easily.

Saturday Morning FC - Sale Savoyards 3 : 3 Scorers: Foghorn Leghorn (9., 35.), George of the Jungle (55.) ***Goldbury (3., 27.), Aline (68.) Booked: Fat Albert ***--- A very even match where the result is an excellent representation of how it went. Lots of fine entertainment at ACME Park.

Penalties: 2 ***- Booked: --- ***Beau Barnett With all their players back from suspension, World Ambassadors were a whole different team - but it didn't help against points-hungry Greenskins who just wouldn't stop scoring.

Monkey Business - Gangsters United 1 : 1 Scorers: Blondbeard (19.) ***Little Carmine (74.) A robbery! But what do you expect from Pirates? The home team was significantly weaker, but managed to rob a point off the Mobsters. Time will tell whether that was a smart thing to do.

Sale Savoyards - Call of Cthulhu 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Ubbo-Sathla (16.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Abhoth, Daoloth, Zoth-Ommog A strategical victory for the Lurking Fear, beating out a stronger team by superior strategy and a bit of luck. With the Singers persistently losing close matches, they are challenging for the honour of being the first team to be unluckiest of the premiership two seasons in a row...

Batt in Blax - Camarilla Divided 1 : 2 Scorers: Locke (4.) ***Paige 'Heihei' Duff (25.), Sebastien 'Decisive' Gibraltar (77.) Sent off: Matthew Sinclair (70.) ***--- Booked: Hamish Marshall ***--- Batt in Blax' strategy suited Generation X perfectly, and despite an early lead for the Black Caps, it was only a question of time until the away team had bagged twice.

Lower Tadfield Apocalypse - Saturday Morning FC 7 : 1 Scorers: Chalky (45., 69.), Dick Turpin (13., 15.), Mrs. Beryl Ormerod (1., 25.), Warlock Dowling (19.) ***Foghorn Leghorn (29.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Optimus Prime A rather straightforward win for the Apocalypse, although the 2Ds should have bagged at least one more.

Penalties: - ***1 (1 missed) Booked: Agent 57, Miss Boathook ***--- The Mouseketeers have struggled really hard this season, and keep doing so against way stronger opposition.

Lexington League Match day 11 ======

Once again Dial Square's manager was away on vacation, and once again they get away with a lucky draw. the Ancients - Les Gaulois 2 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Abraracourcix (88.) Penalties: 2 ***1 Booked: Tyrannosaurus ***Abraracourcix, Asterix, Homeopatix, Panoramix Les Gaulois put in a strong application for promotion managing to keep the Oldtimers from getting any chances from normal play at their own stadium! However, the referee decided it was give-out-cheap-penalties day, and somehow the match ends 2-2.

AbN hope this is an indication that Ajax will survive in Lexington to fight another season (at least).

Really New Bremen Cyberdruids - The 5 Percent Community 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Arne Sandsto (75.), Finn Orjan Saele (18.) Manager Brennhaug shows himself more tactically proficient than the AI, winning easily against a team of very similar strength.

Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Bernando Soares ***Hallstein Bronskimlet, Jostein Kroksleiven A very even match at Athena Stadium between two would-be promotion candidates. It could've gone either way, but Flaaklypa FK were much more efficient, and challenge for a spot among the top three.

Booked: Rhamphorhynchus ***de Ridder Ajax thought this was a home game and fielded the home strategy. It wasn't very fit for an away game against top contenders the Oldtimers!

Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) Booked: Marcus Livius Drusus ***--- Bad luck for Praetorius David Collins and his Roman comrades - this rather close match should in all fairness have ended in a draw, but... Toga Boys, you fight like cows. Blame it on the inefficiency of council administrations!

Booked: --- ***Pantaleao As expected, the Blues danced around the Night Terrors and scored as they pleased. Only surprise is Pantaleao gaining himself a suspension in a match like this.

I hope you haven't "taken a Barthez" ?

Dial Square FC - Really New Bremen Cyberdruids 1 : 0 Scorers: Fabregas (12.) ***--- Routine victory for Dial Square FC. Again manager Morten was nowhere to be seen - has he gone to London to look for John Obi Mikel and John Shittu (or was it Fakku)?

Berkeley Conference Match day 11 ======

Odd Athletics - Twin Peaks Owls 1 : 0 Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Jerry Horne, Tommy 'Hawk' Hill Somehow both teams wasted all their chances from normal play, but fairness was fulfilled when the strongest team got a penalty which they converted, for a deserved home win.

Marvel Comics - Dummys 2 : 1 Scorers: Beast (78.), Colossus (22.) ***Pineapple (38.) Booked: Colossus, Vampire ***Andrew Card Marvel Comics are so far undefeated at home, and also Dummys struggled in Charles Xavier's courtyard, despite Marvel's rather... innovative tactics. the Blitzball Team - Brazil Star Conquerors 1 : 0 Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Mauro Galvao The Blitzballers get a lucky penalty and beat top contenders Brazil, in a match they should've been rather pleased with a draw!

Lords - Monster Time 1 : 15 Scorers: --- ***The Hand (2., 20., 36., 70.), The Creature (50., 53., 85.), Franky (8., 24., 67.), Them! (3., 26.), Pinhead (84.), IT! (65.), Daddy Bear (42.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Daddy Bear, Discipline, Pinhead, Them! Tisik Reten was rude to his manager when introducing himself, and thus didn't get to play. The match itself was apparently very important to the Monsters, who gave the iron and rocked the field.

Sheffield Thursday - Pocket Valley Philosophers 1 : 1 Scorers: Dave Ricker (67.) ***Clausewitz (21.) Booked: Kurt Bernhard ***Rousseau A draw at Hillsborough Stadium in a match where only the home team had realistic chances of winning.

Car Park Rangers - Jedi Order 7 : 1 Scorers: Number Four (21., 25., 63., 79.), Logan (31., 69.), Scott Summers (18.) ***Mace Windu (2.) The Jedis were without their master, and were chancless against the Powers. I sense a disturbance in the force, involving much heavy lifting and a lack of internet access.

Booked: --- ***Blob, The Creature Monster Time are really giving the iron these days, and crush the Weirdoes easily. The level difference must have been large enough not to warrant any extra experience points for mortal danger, methinks, but perhaps they can get one each for clever play.

Marvel Comics - the Blitzball Team 4 : 0 Scorers: Groxo (10., 28., 50.), Colossus (62.) ***--- Booked: Juggernaut ***--- Luck didn't get to play for the Blitzballers, and consequently they were chanceless, and Marvel won comfortably.

Jedi Order - Pocket Valley Philosophers 1 : 0 Scorers: Aurra Sing (77.) ***--- Managerless Jedi Order scraps with them two points from Drunken Thinkers making themselves at home in a galaxy far, far away.

Brazil Star Conquerors - Sheffield Thursday 9 : 2 Scorers: Rivaldo (25., 41., 42., 84.), Roberto Carlos (5., 60., 80.), Richard Ripley (89.) ***Mark White (3., 30.) Penalties: 1 ***- A good chunk of luck didn't help the Owls much - although 13-0 would've been fairer, 9-2 still didn't give them any points.

Coventry - G.I.D. 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Drag-queen (32.) A very slow-paced game at Highfield Road where G.I.D. score one of their two shots for a 1-0 win, as Coventry had none.

Scrubs - Erkrath Gladiators 2 : 0 Scorers: Lonnie (45.), Jordan (42.) ***--- Booked: Jordan ***--- Erkrath were weakened by suspensions, and didn't have much chance against the Scrubs at County General Hospital.

FC Mokum - Norwegian Vikings 4 : 3 Scorers: Advocaat (11., 77.), van Basten (53.), Charisteas (89.) ***Eirik Haakonsson Ladejarl (5.), Haakon Eiriksson jarl (31.), Olav II den hellige (13.) the Vikings are struggling away, and although they came pretty close in this match, FC Mokum were slightly stronger and converted that to a one goal win.

Sofia Inseminaters - G.I.D. 0 : 0 Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) Booked: Dicky Stone, Khaled al-Mifsud ***--- Not much happened here, but G.I.D. missed a penalty and were thus closest to winning.

Fluffy Bunny Eaters - Knights of the Round Ball 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Thathal Honest Deceitful (60.) Knights of the Round Ball picks the right strategy, and impressively manages to keep their goal clean for a rare away win against Fluffy Bunny Eaters.

Norwegian Vikings - Erkrath Gladiators 3 : 10 Scorers: Olav II den hellige (75.), Eirik Haakonsson Ladejarl (43.), Haakon Eiriksson jarl (14.) ***Lutz Mertens (1., 25., 89.), Dietmar Augustin (14., 38., 57.), Heiner Johanns (15., 75.), Martin Geiss (21., 82.) Erkrath needed to win this one to keep up in the promotion race, and did so with ease.

Furinkan Matsudai Doshitemo - Scrubs 3 : 2 Scorers: Lukkusai (40.), Russ Bynum (59.) ***Nurse Roberts (32., 60.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: Rinko ***Carla, Jordan Top two face off at St. Hebereke Stadium, and the home advantage was the difference between the teams.

PSV - FC Mokum 1 : 1 Scorers: Venegoor (58.) ***van Basten (53.) Local derby in Holland where the home team dominated the match. However they were quite inefficient, and FC Mokum gets away with a lucky point.

Disney Classics - Coventry 2 : 0 Scorers: Wendy (43., 71.) ***--- Booked: --- ***David Hendry Disney Classics keep up their run with a routine demolishion of the Sky Blues.

South Keys Slugfest Match day 11 ======

20th Century Dictators - Real Johto 4 : 1 Scorers: Wilhelm II (42., 82.), Lenin (78.), Leopold II (25.) ***Mew (66.) Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) A surprisingly even match that could have gone both ways, but the Happy Tyrants have been saving up karma for a while, and thought the match against top team Real Johto was a nice time to spend it.

Kremlin - New Underdogs FC 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Stefan Barlin (6.) Booked: --- ***Baard Borgersen, Stefan Barlin A close match between two of the main promotion contenders - Kremlin somewhat stronger, but the Underdogs more efficient, taking home a rather lucky away win.

March of the Black Queen - Greensleeves United 2 : 0 Scorers: Giuseppe Giannini (17., 75.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Simon Drake The Black Knights outsmart the Greensleeves with their strategy, and had all the play and both the goals.

Foreign press believes Kremlin to have sent the wrong person to Siberia - the traitor must still be within their ranks.

Booked: Stefan Barlin ***Cowardly Lion, Richard Cypher New Underdogs outplay the Magi and seemed to have the win in their pockets, but the away team was extremely lucky, and managed to rob away both points!

The relegation zone is made up of Monkey Business with 8 points, and Batt in Blax and Dangermouse with 4 points each. The luckiest team of Rosedale Open is Camarilla Divided, and the unluckiest is Sale Savoyards.

Rosedale Quest leads Lexington League with 23 points, with the Ancients following closest with 20. Flaaklypa FK have the last promotion spot with 17. Dead Dino Storage tops the relegation zone with 7 points, while Really New Bremen Cyberdruids and Sleep Wanderers have 4 points apiece.
