Fear us...» Håvard Pettersen, Flaaklypa FK: «Get up people!» Ryoga Hibiki, Furinkan Matsudai Doshitemo: «Bakusai Tenketsu!» Sigurd Eskeland, Gangsters United: «Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes» Jørgen B. Vehusheia, Jedi Order: «This facility is crude, but it should prove adequate to generate an impenetrable force field between our goal posts...» Knut Eivind Brennhaug, Kremlin: «We have detected a treacher among us, a woman in the politbureau! Enemies of the state, like Natasha Nogoodnik, shall be purged to Siberia.» Jørgen Bjørnelv, Manager Rosewich: «OK guys, Whats up next.? ;);)» Jørgen Bjørnelv, Norwegian Vikings: « Eirik Blodøks: Ohhhh..... Harald, I like your hair! Harald Haarfagre: Thank you Eirik, wanne know the secret...? Eirik Blodøks: Yes, of course! Harald Haarfagre: MJØD!!!!!» Håvard Pettersen, Odd Athletics: «What is black and White and has 22 (+) legs? Thats ODD!!» Jaap Smolders, PSV: «No we definitly need the points... Be warned we gonna kick some ass» Alex Trenev, Sofia Inseminaters: «Hehe, first win against the Vikings, poor guys must suck real heavy since we were beaten 0:15 the day before. Ah, anyway, cheers for my apprentices for scoring their first goals. The virgins request is still on.» Knut Eivind Brennhaug, Twin Peaks Owls: «Sometimes owls are big.» 3. Apprentices discovered Gangsters United: Voldemort Erkrath Gladiators: Tokeyo Hanashu Real Johto: Slaking 4. League results Rosedale Open Match day 5 ========================== Grunts United - Mishima Zaibatsu 0 : 4 Scorers: --- ***True Ogre (73., 89.), Kazuya Mishima (33., 62.) Booked: --- ***Asuka Kazama, Jack 5 Grunts have no points so far this year, and didn't get any at home against Mishima Zaibatsu either, even with the latter giving three points to Trion. World Ambassadors - Call of Cthulhu 2 : 1 Scorers: Scott Troemel (27.) ***--- Penalties: 1 ***1 Sent off: --- ***Night-Gaunt (90.) Booked: Nodens ***Mi-Go, Will Hayward The Lurking Fear appear to have a really hard time away from Arkham Asylum this season, with their third straight away loss. The Stabbers played well and won deservedly. Sale Savoyards - Camarilla Divided 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Sebastien 'Decisive' Gibraltar (44., 89.) The Singers were pretty resigned to their fate for this match, and lost after only lasting 43 minutes of each half. Generation X take their sixth straight win of the season! Batt in Blax - Monkey Business 2 : 4 Scorers: James Franklin (12.), Andre Adams (38.) ***Ozzy Mandrill (12., 80.), The Voodoo Priest (69.), Minnie Goudsoup (79.) Booked: James Marshall ***--- Batt in Blax were weakened by suspensions, and fed half the home advantage to Trion. You can't really do that against the Pirates Wannabe, unless you want to be called glue or offered a boat for swift escape. Lower Tadfield Apocalypse - Gangsters United 3 : 0 Scorers: Petter Belsvik (33.), Warlock Dowling (56.) ***--- Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: Jaime Hernez ***Little Carmine, Tony Blundetto Both teams really tried in this one, but the home team's home advantage and good relation with the referee proved decisive - although the scoreline is ridiculously flattering. Dangermouse - Saturday Morning FC 3 : 5 Scorers: Miss Boathook (3.), Agent 57 (71.), Isanbard (29.) ***Fat Albert (15., 55., 77.), Top Cat (52.) Penalties: - ***1 Sent off: Mad Manuel (51.) ***--- The Mouseketeers also feed half the home advantage to Trion, and this may well have cost them a point in the Mouse Dome. With this snack, the 2Ds were the stronger team and deserved to win. Rosedale Open Match day 6 ========================== Call of Cthulhu - Batt in Blax 1 : 0 Scorers: Fthaggua (11.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Locke, Matthew Sinclair The Lurking Fear is evidently a completely different team home and away - with 0 points away, they claim their fifth point of six possible here, and it wasn't entirely undeserved either. Monkey Business - Grunts United 0 : 0 Sent off: Elaine Marley (12.) ***--- Booked: Wally ***Defty Metalspike Monkey Business hit a real blob of bad luck, and couldn't convert anything against the Greenskins. That's the first point of the season for Grunts, in the prestigious Brill derby! Gangsters United - Dangermouse 8 : 2 Scorers: Svarte Petter (4., 21., 34., 81.), Tony Blundetto (59., 75.), B-gjengen (31.), Nina Myers (36.) ***Isanbard (49.), Nero Spawn (81.) Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) Booked: --- ***Buggles Pigeon The Mobsters had little trouble scooping up the mice and drowning them in the harbour, as expected. Mishima Zaibatsu - Sale Savoyards 5 : 3 Scorers: Jin Kazama (40., 65.), Asuka Kazama (24.), Kazuya Mishima (22.), Lei Wulong (50.) ***Aline (2., 72.), Hilarian (31.) Booked: Prototype Jack ***--- Very entertaining and goal-rich at the Iron Fist Tournament tonight, with the team with the best chances winning out in the end through a strong second half. Camarilla Divided - Lower Tadfield Apocalypse 4 : 0 Scorers: Sebastien 'Decisive' Gibraltar (28., 64.), Bill the Mighty Brujah (20.) ***--- Penalties: 1 (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Chalky, Jaime Hernez, Petter Belsvik, Wensleydale A solid strategical victory for Generation X, as the away team was stronger on paper, but the home team picked the exact best team setup to maximize their chances against the Apocalypse strategy. The resulting play advantage was enough for a one-goal win - and then they added another three, just for kicks. Saturday Morning FC - World Ambassadors 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Paul Kitchin (8.) Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Optimus Prime ***Nodens A very interesting pair of tactics between two managers who had a good idea what the other usually does - but of course, they didn't feel the need to repeat them for this match, and the slightly stronger team wins out on a lone goal from play and a dubious penalty. Lexington League Match day 5 ============================= Dead Dino Storage - Really New Bremen Cyberdruids 1 : 0 Scorers: Pendragon (73.) ***--- The difference between the teams was largely in the home advantage, which was enough to see DDS through with both points from the Dark Side of the Moon. The 5 Percent Community - Flaaklypa FK 2 : 0 Scorers: Finn Orjan Saele (29., 89.) ***--- A match with almost identical chances for each team, but with the Greedy Retards surfing on a wave of luck to claim both points - very important if they want to leave the relegation fight! First Men of Rome - Desassossego Blues 5 : 1 Scorers: Horace (18., 38.), Marcus Aemilius Lepidus (23.), Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus (85.), Titus Flavius Vespasianus (33.) ***Ricardo Reis (11.) The Blues had a suspension cause them to feed Trion, and were thus pretty chanceless in this match. Sleep Wanderers - the Ancients 0 : 7 Scorers: --- ***Morosaurus (27., 49.), Rhamphorhynchus (8., 64.), Archaeopteryx (12.), Opisthocoelicaudia (33.), Nanotyrannus (70.) Trion is starting to get fat and overweight, as the Night Terrors toss him another five points. Methinks if this goes on, that we need to get him an exercise plan and a diet... Les Gaulois - Ajax 7 : 1 Scorers: Tragicomix (33., 65., 85.), Orthopedix (44.), Abraracourcix (52.), Joerre Kjemperud (43.) ***Charisteas (17.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***de Jong Les Gaulois show freshmen Ajax that life in Lexington can be hard, with a very convincing six-goal win. Dial Square FC - Rosedale Quest 0 : 6 Scorers: --- ***Purple Goal Elemental (18., 54.), Unicorn of Underhanded Fouls (34., 40.), Goalscorer Golem (11.), Yellow Goal Elemental (21.) The first of several matches this time lacking a manager - without Morten's guidance, Dial Square FC were rather chanceless against an army with three-handed swords and rapiers of unfairness. Lexington League Match day 6 ============================= Flaaklypa FK - Sleep Wanderers 6 : 0 Scorers: Roger Jurtappen (14., 32., 38., 68.), Reodor Felgen (51.), Jostein Kroksleiven (28.) ***--- I'm not quite sure what Paul was smoking when he made this team sheet, but it'd better be good. Maybe he should check his squad list next time :) The resulting tactic weren't necessarily so bad - it's just that Flaaklypa is a division or two stronger than Sleep Wanderers as it stands. the Ancients - Dead Dino Storage 2 : 0 Scorers: Tyrannosaurus (80.), Rhamphorhynchus (77.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Mark Byzewski, Pendragon, Porcupine Tree One of the most even matches for the Oldtimers so far this season, despite DDS playing an apprentice and the home advantage. Still it's the straight road back to the top division, it seems! Ajax - Dial Square FC 8 : 1 Scorers: Mitea (20., 50., 76.), Charisteas (59., 89.), Reiziger (16., 81.), van Mul (6.) ***Flamini (65.) Ajax crushes Dial Square FC in Morten's absence, but more with the help of lucky and efficient use of their chances than anything else. Really New Bremen Cyberdruids - First Men of Rome 6 : 16 Scorers: Chris Standbracker (50., 53., 72., 86.), Gregory (40.), Sam Touile (14.) ***Horace (26., 47., 58., 67.), Virgil (4., 17., 82.), Marcus Livius Drusus (10., 31., 36.), Spartacus (34., 45., 79.), Caligula (24.,

  • Asuka Kazama

Tekken 6 Guide Tekken 6 is a fast and furious fighting game filled to the brim with challenging foes. Foes that sometimes can be a bit too challenging. We've played through Tekken 6 and have compiled a few tips to help turn from zero to a slugfest hero. As the game box says, "This Fight is Yours." There's no reason to show up to it unprepared. In this Tekken 6 strategy guide, you'll find: BASICS // Myriad tips and strategies for defense and offense. SCENARIO CAMPAIGN // Info on enemies, bosses and the weapons of Scenario Campaign. Page 1 of 60 Tekken 6 Basics « Defense & Attack Levels Strikes & Combos » Blocking Blocking is your most rudimentary defense against attack in Tekken 6. After all, your opponent could pull off the most gloriously cool move in the book and it will do them about a fart's worth of good if you can block it. Blocking in Tekken 6 is pretty simple. The most basic way to block is to do nothing.

download TEKKEN PC GAME Tekken DS. It is a launch title for the DS. This is the sequel to Tekken Advance . A successor, Tekken 3DS , was published on February 26, 2011 in Japan, on March 27, 2011 in North America, March 25, 2011 in Europe, and March 31, 2011 in Australia. Gameplay. The gameplay in Tekken DS is similar to other games in the series, but because it is on a portable system, the inputs were simplified or removed altogether. It utilizes a single-input system, with punch mapped to the A button, kick to the B button, and the left and right triggers used for tagging and throws, respectively. The game also included a side-step feature that made the game have a 3D feel. Despite the simplification, Tekken DS introduces new mechanics by implementing a wide range of "stun" variations such as "pop stuns", "crumple stuns" and right/left stuns. Characters. Only 12 characters made it into the game due to the limited space. Raven Yoshimitsu Asuka Kazama Marshall Law Jack-5 Hwoarang Heihachi Mishima (unlockable) Paul Phoenix Kazuya Mishima Jin Kazama King Jinpachi Mishima (unplayable, final boss) Reception. Tekken Advance has generally received positive reviews. It received an 8.5 out of 10 from IGN and an 8 out of 10 from GameSpot saying "It looks and feels close enough to its counterpart to succeed." GameRankings currently scores the game as 79 out of 100. GameSpy gave it a much more favourable score with 88 out of 100, calling it an impressive game for the Nintendo DS.

  • A Feminist Analysis of Players' Responses to Representations Of
Loading… The Journal of the Canadian Game Studies Association Vol 8(13): 81-99 http://loading.gamestudies.ca “Unless she had implants, she must be Chinese”: A feminist analysis of players’ responses to representations of Chinese and Japanese female video game characters Sara Ishii Texas Woman’s University [email protected] Abstract This article examines the portrayals of Chinese and Japanese female video game characters in a purposive sample of video games and how users of online discussion forums understand these representations. The majority of game studies scholarship lacks an intersectional component regarding gender and race. As such, this analysis addresses this gap by focusing on the relation between gender and race in the construction of problematic stereotypes existing in gameplay and gaming communities. Drawing on a feminist theoretical framework, I employ the concept of “the gaze” to draw a connection between character image and interpretation and their relation to the intersections of gender and race. These intersections are analyzed in both visual and textual form in order to explore alternative methodological approaches and establish the relationship between a character’s image and dialogic interpretations of these images by players. The findings identify how video games and players support stereotypes, and conversely, how player dialogue that challenges oppressive concepts of gender and race may be a means by which to consider alternative approaches to gendered and racialized character design. Author Keywords Video games; Critical Discourse Analysis; Gender, Race; Stereotypes “Unless she had implants, she must be Chinese” “Hitomi is the LEAST Asian of the four, so she's automatically more slutty” “DAT JAPANESE SCHOOLGIRL ASS” These quotes are examples from among the statements collected in reference to radicalized feminine figures in video games for this research.
