THEKENT COUNTYCOUNCIL (BROOMHILL PARK ROAD,SOUTHBOROUGH,TUNBRIDGE WELLS) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2021 THE KENT COUNTYCOUNCIL, acting as Local Traffic Authorityand in exercise of its powers under Sections 9and 10 of,and Part VI of Schedule 9to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act1984 (hereinafterreferred to as “the Act”)asamended,and of all other enabling powers and afterconsultation with the ChiefOfficer of Policein accordancewithPartIII of Schedule 9tothe Act, herebymakethe following Order. Theeffect of theOrder would be to stop vehicles from driving either wayalong thefollowing length of road in Southborough, Tunbridge Wells between 8am - 8.45am and 2.45pm –3.30pm MondaytoFriday:- Broomhill Park Road –Fromits junction with ProspectRoad to apointinline with the eastern property boundary of 1c Broomhill Park Road. TheOrder will be implementedbythe 13 September 2021 on an experimental basis foraperiod of eighteen months afterwhich time it will be reviewed. The Council maythen consider whether to make the Orderpermanentorabandon it.
