Via Route 22 (East and West) Take the exit for Route 523 North in Whitehouse Station; there is an Exxon Station on the westbound side at the traffic light. Continue on Route 523 for approximately 1 mile. The entrance to Merck is on the right side where the road widens. You will access the site via an overpass.

 For the Corporate Headquarters building, bear left after the main gate and follow signs.  For the MMD Headquarters (Whitehouse Station West) building, proceed straight through the main gate and follow road to 2 Merck Drive.

Via New Jersey Turnpike (from the North): Take Exit 14 (Route 78/Newark Airport) to Route 78 West. Continue to Exit 24 (Oldwick/Whitehouse). Make a left turn at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 523 South. The entrance to Merck is on the right side where the road widens.

Take Exit 10 (Metuchen/Edison) to Route 287 North. Continue to Route 22 West (exit is on the left). Follow the same route as above via Route 22.

Via I-95:

Take I-95 North to Route 206 North to Route 22 West. Follow the same route as above via Route 22.

Take Interstate 95 to Route 31 North. Continue on Route 31. Route 31 will run along with Route 202 North for a period of time. At the traffic circle in Flemington, NJ, follow the circle 3/4 of the way around to continue on Route 31. Take Route 31 North to Route 523 North. (Hunterdon Central High School is at this intersection) Follow Route 523 North to where it crosses Route 22. (Exxon Station will be at the next light). Continue on Route 523 North. About one mile up, Merck is on the right-hand side.

From Points Northwest:

Take Route 78 East to Exit 24 (Oldwick/Whitehouse). Make a right turn at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 523 South. The entrance to Merck is on the right side where the road widens.

From the south via the Garden State Parkway:

Take the Garden State Parkway North to Route 287 North. Take Route 287 to Route 78 West. Take Route 78 to Exit 24 (Oldwick/Whitehouse). Make a left turn at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 523 South. The entrance to Merck is on the right side where the road widens.

From the north via the Garden State Parkway: take the Garden State Parkway South to Route 78 West. Take Route 78 to Exit 24 (Oldwick/Whitehouse). Make a left turn at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 523 South. The entrance to Merck is on the right side where the road widens.

From Newark International Airport:

Take Route 78 West. Continue to Exit 24 (Oldwick/Whitehouse). Make a left turn at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 523 South. The entrance to Merck is on the right side about 1 mile.

From LaGuardia Airport:

Take Grand Central west. Turn left on Interstate 278Y heading southwest. Continue on Route 278 heading southwest for 7.2 miles. Bear right on Manhattan heading northwest for 1 mile. Continue on Canal heading northwest for 1.2 miles Continue on Interstate 78 West. Continue to Exit 24 (Oldwick/Whitehouse). Make a left turn at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 523 South. The entrance to Merck is on the right side about 1 mile.

From JFK Airport: Take Rockaway heading northwest for 1.0 mile. Continue on Route 27 (Southern) heading west for 1.1 miles Continue on Shore heading west for 16.0 miles. Turn left on Route 278 West for 10 miles. Turn left on Interstate 95 (New Jersey Turnpike) heading southwest for 11.0 miles Bear right on US 287 North to Route 22 West. Take Route 22 West to Route 523 North (Exxon Station is on corner). Follow Route 523 to entrance to Merck on the right about 1 mile up.

Take Route 987 South (Airport Road) to Route 22 East. Take Route 22 East to Route 78 East. Take Exit 24 (Oldwick/Whitehouse). Turn right onto Route 523 South. Entrance to Merck is on the right about 1 mile.

From Philadelphia International Airport:

Take Route 95 North for 45 miles to Route 206 exit. Take Route 206 North for 23 miles to Route 28. Take Route 28 West for 3 miles to Route 22. Take Route 22 West to Route 523 North (Exxon Station is on corner). Follow Route 523 to entrance to Merck on the right about 1 mile up.

From 30th Street Train Station, Philadelphia:

Take Market Street to Route 676 East to Route 95 North. Follow to Route 31 North. Route 31 will run along Route 202 for a period of time. At the traffic circle in Flemington, NJ, follow the circle _ of the way around to Route 31. Take Route 31 North to Route 523 North. From Metro Park Train Station:

Take Gill Lane to Route 1 South. Take Route 287 North to Route 78 West. Take Exit 24 (Oldwick/Whitehouse). Turn left onto Route 523 South. Entrance to Merck is on the right about 1 mile.

From New York City:

Take the Lincoln Tunnel into New Jersey. Take Interstate 495 West when exiting tunnel. Continue to New Jersey Turnpike South. Take New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 14 (Route 78/Newark Airport) to Route 78 West. Continue to Exit 24 (Oldwick/Whitehouse). Make a left turn at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 523 South. The entrance to Merck is on the right side where the road widens.
