-MORE- DONOR AWARENESS, Add 1

“There is a shortage of available organs and because of that 18 people die every day,” said Howard M. Nathan, Gift of Life president and CEO. “Signing up is easy, it takes 90 seconds to save lives. We hope that by providing on-site donor designations we can make it even easier.”

The Donate Life PA booth will have 10 laptops staffed by members of the Donate Life

PA volunteer team available to assist in the on-site donor registration process. The booth will also feature an airbrush tattoo artist and a beanbag toss from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 24.

Participants of the beanbag toss will be awarded Donate Life PA t-shirts and rubber bracelets for tossing beanbags into holes.

The Gift of Life Donor Program is one of the oldest and largest of 58 organ procurement organizations in the and devotes its efforts to serving the eastern half of

Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.
