From this very moment, your acquaintance with Georgia will start. In recent years, more and more tourists from around the world are choosing Georgia as an attractive tourist destination. Its fantastic mountain landscapes, unique culture and mouth-watering national cuisine don't leave anyone indifferent. With the help of our professional guide, you will plunge into the local culture and reveal lots of secrets. After your check-in at the hotel, you can stroll around the city centre, have a cup of coffee in the cosy cafes and feel the hospitality of Tbilisi. Overnight: Hotel in Tbilisi Meals: Breakfast Day 2 Tour starts with the visit to Mtskheta – the religious center of Georgia and one of the most ancient towns. Here we explore the first and the main church in Georgia - Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Then continue up the hill to the Jvari Monastery – the amazing symbol of the Georgian church architecture. According to the legend, at the site of the monastery St. Nino established one of her three crosses. After driving back to Tbilisi we discover the bright and hospitable capital of Georgia. Our first stop is Armenian Church, and then the trip leads us to the Jewish Synagogue and Turkish Mosque. In the old town of Tbilisi, we visit sulfur baths (famous royal bath complex (XVII-XIX cc.), standing on the warm natural sulfur springs). At the evening we reach Narikala Fortress by the cable car to enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of Tbilisi. Overnight: Hotel in Tbilisi Meals: Breakfast Duration: 8 hours Length: 80 km Day 3 After breakfast we drive to Ananuri Fortress which is a well-preserved castle of the feudal era. Once it was the main seat of Aragvi Eristavi Georgian dynasty. The fortress is located in a beautiful place close to Zhinvali Reservoir. We stop in Gudauri resort town for a rest. Then trip leads us to Gergeti Trinity Church situated at an altitude of 2170 m at the foot of Mount Kazbek. The church was built in the XIV century and is the only cross-domed church in the historic Georgian province Khevi. From the top of the hill opens the incredibly beautiful scenery. Overnight: Hotel in Tbilisi Meals: Breakfast Duration: 10 hours Length: 330 km Day 4 In the morning you will drive to the east of the country, to Kakheti – the main wine making region of Georgia. A pleasant time is waiting for you in Signaghi – a royal town founded by the king Erekle II in the 18th century. Strolling around the tiny streets you will enjoy the local architecture and atmosphere. Continue to Telavi well-known for its delightful landscapes. There you can see nine-hundred-year old tree. Visit to Tsinandali village – the patrimony of famous Georgian family – Chavchavadze. The estate is known for its amazing labyrinth planted with exotic trees in it and cellars, where the unique collection of Georgian and European wine is preserved. Overnight: Hotel in Sighnaghi Meals: Breakfast Duration: 9 hours Length: 230 km Day 5 In the morning we cross the Georgia-Azerbaijan border and drive on to Sheki town located in a picturesque mountainous area with narrow gorges and green valleys, clear rivers, waterfalls and mineral springs. Here we visit the Upper Town and the magnificent Palace of Sheki Khans. After exploring the Museum of carpets, we continue to Sheki Bazaar for buying gifts and local products. Overnight: Hotel in Sheki Meals: Breakfast Day 6 This morning we set off for Gabala town, which is an ancient capital of Caucasian Albania. Chukhur Qabala. During the tour around Gabala Archeology Center, we explore interesting facts about its cultural heritage and history. After visiting natural sights of Gabala – Tufandag Mountain and Gabala Lake, trip continues to Baku – the modern capital of Azerbaijan located on the shores of the Caspian Sea. Overnight: Hotel in Baku Meals: Breakfast Day 7 We start the day with city tour around Baku Old City. First we visit the modern district of Upland Park with the three Flame Towers to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and then continue to Kirov Park. The next place to visit is Baku Boulevard – the second longest one in Europe. Then we visit the Carpet Museum where to get acquainted with local carpets and rugs, various weaving techniques and materials used during different historical periods. The last sightseeing of the day is Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, located in a unique building which was awarded to Design of the Year prize in 2014. Overnight: Hotel in Baku Meals: Breakfast Day 8 Leaving Baku this morning, we drive to Gobustan National Park to go back in time and see this national and historical sight. First we visit to the open-air museum where we explore Rock paintings dating from the early stone age. Then trip leads us to Gobustan Reserve to enjoy the view of the Mud Volcanoes. After returning to Baku we have a free time to explore this fascinating city before departure. Overnight: Hotel in Baku Meals: Breakfast Day 9 Transfer to the airport, departure. Booking conditions The contract between you and MyGeo is considered confirmed once we received your application, discuss all the details and receive your deposit of € 50 (per person). Immediately after that, you will receive a tour voucher confirming all the details. Payment terms As noted above, first you need to make a non-refundable deposit of € 50. That will provide our managers with the opportunity to start the tour organization. The final payment can be made after your arrival in Georgia in cash or by credit card. Cancellation of the tour by the clients If you or one of the group members has to cancel the tour for any reason, please let us know in written form. Please, keep in mind that in this case, the deposit of 50 euros cannot be refunded. Cancellation of the tour by the company itself Our organizers start to plan the tour many months before its beginning, and from our side the tour cannot be changed or canceled. However, due to the unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, we can make some adjustments to the route. But everything else will remain unchanged. Please, note that the minimum number of participants in our tours is 2 people. If the tour does not have the minimum number of people, we will have to cancel the tour. In this case, we will notify you of the cancellation no later than 30 days before your tour beginning, and will refund the full amount, including the prepayment. Rights and obligations In case of unavoidable force majeure circumstances, both parties are released from the obligations and responsibilities. If during the tour you have any complaints and dissatisfaction, please immediately inform us about that. We will do our best to solve the problem. If you do not inform us about that, then at the end of the tour, we will not provide the compensation. We also are not responsible for anything that does a tourist in his/her free time outside of the tour program. .
