Law Department, Bucharest University of Economic Studies This volume contains the scientific papers presented at the Seventh In- ternational Conference „Perspectives of Business Law in the Third Millennium” that was held on 24 November 2017 at Bucharest University of Economic Stud- ies, Romania. The conference is organized each year by the Department of Law at Bucharest University of Economic Studies together with the Society of Juridi- cal and Administrative Sciences. The scientific studies included in this volume are grouped into six chap- ters: Business Law and Investments. The papers in this chapter refer to the heraldic insignia of institutions and societies in contemporary law, the punitive damages and the extent of its application in the Iraqi and Roma- nian competition laws, the situation in which the trademark owner is not also the user, considerations regarding the cases of nullity of fusion, the loyalty and non-competition obligation of the directors and as- sociates of trading companies, intermediate contract in interna- tional trade, public-private partnerships and investments. Criminal Law in Business Context. This chapter includes papers on: fraud management in the Romanian criminal law, the embezzle- ment of public auctions in the Romanian law, some considerations on deceit offense in the Romanian criminal law, considerations on the subjective aspect of corruption offenses, customs offenses in comparative law, new specific techniques of investigation for the economic offences. Business Tax Law. The papers in this chapter refer to the legal status of the digital certificate used for submitting tax returns online in Romania, a view on the VAT split procedure in Romania, considerations about the Bitcoin currency, tax mediation in the Portuguese legal system, Labor Law. This chapter includes papers on: emigration of Croatian workforce after country joined the European Union, collective dismissal in Turkish labor law, the inclusion of persons with disabilities on the Ro- manian labor market. Business Law and Information Society. This chapter includes papers on: the right to information and the information society, legal reform of Eu- ropean Union data protection. Environmental Law and Business. The papers in this chapter refer to the role of environmental protection in the current international context and to the „Green” obligations regarding new constructions and their impact upon the real-estate market. The author followed the chronological sequence, thus identifying the dies used to issue official medals. Almost all the specimens are the work of Menachem Carniol, father and son; one is signed by Carniol and Radivon and only one specimen by Radivon alone (both were employed by the Roya! House). The first die is the one employed for the reverse of the prize meda! of the agriculture and industry contest in Botoşani, 1879. The next specimens dates to 1880 - the pair of dies that was never used, engraved for the samc contest în Botoşani - as well as thc dic used for thc obvcrsc of a meda! which commemoratcd the foundation ofthe Literary society „Generaţia Nouă". The follo\\ing dies were created in 1896, to isse the medals dedicated to the visit of Emperor Franz Josef in Romania. The National History Museum of Romania holds thc lpunch of the meda! dedicatcd to the participation of Franz Josef, Charles I and Alexander Caragheorghcvit at the opening of the Iran Gates' channel, as well as two Jower dies uscd for the same lower die, both hming 29mm in diameter, but signed in a different manner: the first CARNIOL FIUL, creatcd along \\ith the punch, because on the scarf of Charles I the lines prescnt the same pattern with the ones on the punch, and the second, signed only CARNIOL, whcre the decorations of the scarf are different in style.

R. Vitezović’s works had a great impact on the development of the South Slavic national ideologies, national consciousness, and nationalism. Paradoxically but true, P. R. Vitezović influenced at the great degree the 18th century Serbian and Bulgarian national movements. His heraldic manual under the title Stemmatographia, sive Armorum Illyricorum delineatio, descriptio et restitution (Vienna, 1701), in which coats of arms of all “Illyrian” (i.e., according to him, Croatian) historical provinces were presented, was translated into the Slavonic- Serbian language, adapted and expanded in the mid-18th century by the Serbian patriot of the Bulgarian ethnic origin from South Hungary, Hristifor Žefarović (1700–1753). Nonetheless, previously to P. R. Vitezović, the examples of coats of arms of Illyria (i.e. the Balkans) were available in Sebastian Münster’s Cosmographia (Basel, 1544) and revised by the Italian version in 1575. A very idea of the Illyrian (i.e. the Balkan or the South Slavic) unity could be found exactly in S. Münster’s Cosmographia, where the lands of Carinthia, Carniola, Croatia, Slavonia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina are described as the Illyrian provinces. P. R. Vitezović used, in addition to S. Münster’sCosmographia , as a basis for his own armorial manual, a heraldic work of the Herzegovinian nobleman and admiral in the Spanish navy service, Petar Ohmučević (known in Spain as Don Pedro) from 1596.

The paper approaches the theme about Anthim the Ivirite is an exponent of Romanian and Caucasian spirituality. Honouring this personality we start from the observation that his spiritual heritage remains relevant over the ages. Some biographers claim that Anthim the Ivirite was from a noble family. His life was as well dramatic, as noble. Anthim the Ivirite remains in Romanian history as a deeply religious man and a man of many talents. He spoke several foreign languages among which Romanian, Greek, Arabic and Turkish. Saint Anthim was a scholar, a printer of religious writings, he wrote religious literature and succeeded to leave a deep mark in the Romanian culture that times undimmed. We consider relevant also that among the important anniversaries of the year 2016 along with the anniversary of Saint Anthim the Ivirite the Romanian Orthodox Church celebrates all the Romanian Church typographers who have contributed fundamentally to a rich religious culture in Romanian.     QUAESTUS MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH JOURNAL ZOOMORPHIC SHIELDS AND MOTIFS FROM THE COLȚEA CHURCH IN BUCHAREST Laurentiu Stefan SZEMKOVICS, Camelia TEODORESCU Abstract: Our study aims to highlight coats of arms, blazons, and zoomorphic motifs engraved or carved at the Colțea Church in the capital of Romania, Bucharest. For the preparation of the present study we have researched the church building, a funerary stone and some objects inside the church. Regarding the actual description of the different types of heraldic distinctive signs, vegetal, floral or zoomorphic ornaments, we have complied with the heraldic norms and recommendations of the former International Sigilography Committee, a body created in 1959 by the decision of the International Archives Council. We have taken into account the interest that these heraldic testimonies and animal ornaments can present for specialists, teachers, students, pupils, but also for pilgrims and tourists. We have considered that heraldic vestige resources used by ancestors, can serve both to a better understanding of historical phenomena as well as to distinguish the symbols by which they expressed their thoughts and aspirations. Our study is a call for the detection, preservation, research and placing in the scientific circuit of other testimonies of this kind as well, which have remained unknown so far.     RELIGION AND CONSTITUTION. SOME HUNGARIAN PERSPECTIVES Balázs Schanda Pázmány Péter Catholic University Abstract: Freedom of religion shall be a universally recognized human right. States have devel- oped highly dierent models with regard to their relations to religious communities. Some kind of neutrality of the state has to be preserved in order to provide due respect to all faiths. Derived from a religious heritage and beyond religious beliefs the cultural identity of peoples gains a rising signicance. e historically determined identity of nations is expressed various ways including the public endorsement of the legacy shaped by religious communities. Beyond the national level and within their boundaries local communities express identities in various ways. e Basic Law of Hungary (2011) is characterized by an open commitment to the religious roots of the national culture but maintains the respect for religious freedom and consequently also remains in the frame- work of religious neutrality.
