The BP Festival celebrates its 30th of welcoming summer solstice to Interior Alaska with a rockin’ street party in downtown Fairbanks.

That’s three decades of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, deli- cious food, and one-of-a-kind merchandise. Three decades of making downtown Fairbanks the destination for Alaska’s largest single- event. And three decades of community support from Fairbanksans, sponsors, vol- unteers, and downtown merchants.

Don’t miss these festival highlights on Sunday, June 19th from noon to midnight, at the grandest celebration to date:

 Browse for gifts and treasures at nearly 200 booths offering an array of products including art glass, candles, leather goods, flags, charms, hand- made clothing, paintings, and more.  Transport yourself from Fairbanks to the Polynesian or Caribbean islands with the South Sea Island Polynesian Dancers and sounds inspired by steel drum traditions by Cold Steel (see schedule below).  Try your luck panning for gold, or ride a pony at a few of the family- friendly activities scattered throughout the festival.  Enjoy fabulous food from Cake Shakes, Big Daddy’s BBQ, Indian Valley Meats, The Pretzel Chef, and more.  Support local performers like the 9th Army Band and the 50-piece Fair- banks Community Band, as well as longtime favorites like Marc Brown & the Blues Crew or Dj Double X.  Pick up a collectible 2011 Festival t-shirt and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a 2011 Ford Fiesta– both at the Downtown Associa- tion booth.
