Catálogo Ofertas Especiales Verano 2021 Vigencia: Del 01/05/2021 al 31/10/2021 CATÁLOGO OFERTAS ESPECIALES VERANO 2021 Vigencia: Del 01/05/2021 al 31/10/2021 Para mejor comprensión del catálogo, lea detenidamente las siguientes indicaciones: » Los precios del catálogo son por pax o apartamento por noche, están expresados en moneda nacional (CUP). » El pago podrá efectuarse en efectivo o en tarjeta de débito en moneda nacional, en aquellos puntos de ventas que tengan habilitado este servicio, o mediante las pasarelas de pago online. » El comprobante emitido en nuestros puntos de ventas como constancia del pago efectuado, posee un carácter intransferible y debe ser presentado a su llegada en el hotel. » La pérdida del comprobante de venta puede invalidar su derecho a disfrutar de los servicios del hotel. » Para realizar el registro en el hotel (Check-in), además del comprobante de venta es obligatorio que presente sus documentos de identificación, tanto para adultos como para niños. » El registro en los hoteles (Check-in) se realizará a partir de las 16:00 horas, mientras que el día de retorno deberá abandonar la habitación a las 12:00 del mediodía, pudiendo disfrutar de los servicios del hotel hasta el momento de su traslado. » Para darnos a conocer sus sugerencias e inquietudes, puede dirigirse directamente al área de calidad o atención al cliente en cada uno de nuestros hoteles, de esta forma podrá formalizar y dejar constancia escrita sobre sus quejas o no conformidades. It challenges the notion of a “great divide” between Republic and Revolution by tracing contentious interactions between technocrats, politicians, and financial elites on one hand, and mobilized, mostly-Afro-descended tenants and shantytown residents on the other hand. The dynamics of housing inequality in Havana not only reflected existing socio- racial hierarchies but also produced and reconfigured them in ways that have not been systematically researched.

This is being accomplished through individual original research, work-study groups, and seminars. The project, which began in January 2002, is funded by a grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development. Research Studies The CTP produces a variety of original studies with practical alternative recommenda- tions on various aspects of the transition process. The studies are available in both English and Spanish. The Spanish translations are sent to Cuba through various means.     K A R E N B ELL University of Bristol Environmental justice in Cuba Abstract ‘Environmental justice’ refers to the human right to a healthy and safe environment, a fair share of natural resources, access to environmental information and participation in environmental decision-making. Some analysts have argued that environmental justice is undermined by the political economy of capitalism. This paper builds on this analysis by evaluating the environmental justice situation in Cuba, a country where there is little capitalist influence. Evidence is based on participant obser- vation and interviews in Cuba, as well as secondary quantitative data. The research findings suggest that Cuba fares relatively well in terms of environmental justice, but still faces a number of challenges regarding the quality of its environment and some aspects of the environmental decision-making process. However, many of its ongoing problems can be attributed to global capitalist pressures. Key words: capitalism, causes, environment, equality, participation Most commentators agree that the term ‘environmental justice’ emerged in the 1980s, out of resistance to the siting of toxic facilities in black and other minority ethnic communities in the United States. A defining moment was the publication of research that showed that hazardous installations, such as toxic waste dumps, were often located in areas with higher percentages of ‘people of color’ (UCC, 1987). It argues that the mass movement of Cubans, especially youths, between urban and rural areas was a major factor in contributing to the radical conscious- ness of the 1960s. At the same time, these early initiatives also contributed to the growing disaffection with the Cuban revolution.
