Welcome to this 13th Sunday in ordinary time! It is a blessing that we are coming back more to MONDAY 06/28 Gn 18:16-33 ; Mt 8:18-22 Church! This is the real meaning of a family celebrating their faith. TUESDAY From the Gospel reading this Sunday, we see 06/29 Acts 12:1-11; 2 Tm 4:6-8,17-18; Mt 16:13-19 the miracles done by Jesus! As his nature was, Jesus WEDNESDAY always attracted crowds and among these crowds 06/30 Gn 21:5, 8-20a ; Mt 8:28-34 were people with all kinds of afflictions. Some people THURSDAY would call on him aloud for healing and others 07/01 Gn 22:1b-19 ; Mt 9:1-8 followed him silently, waiting for an opportune FRIDAY moment to be healed. 07/02 Gn 23:1-4, 19; 24:1-8, 62-67 ; Mt 9:9-13

Today’s Gospel reading shows how Jesus was SATURDAY so concerned about women. His presence healed the 07/03 JACINTO OLLER + woman with hemorrhages and he brought back the life of a little girl. Ez 2:2-5 ; 2 Cor 12:7-10 ; Mk 6:1-6a I believe that we all know that for the survival SUNDAY ELIZABETH & LAMBERTO RAMEREZ + of the human race, the role of women cannot be 07/04 JOSEPH & EILEEN FRITSCH +

society may seem to look the other way.

The woman in today’s Gospel reading had a Steven Barkow, Hadley Hewlett, Emma & Jeff Madrigal, Alice & George Volz, Don DeGroot, Bryan Mendoza, Rose Kmetz, desire all along to get better, “If I but touch his Dawn Boroden, Leonardo V. Corpez, Jim Thomas, Jean Morgan, clothes, I shall be cured.” Her deep faith pushed her Emy Balmaceda, Chandler Jacob, Diane Esposito, Connie Collins, Christian & Dana Brewer, Suzie Neely, Chantal Rose Denman, to touch Jesus’ cloak and she was healed Yolanda Santiaguel, Abelino Santiaguel, Beth Park, Susan Parr, Paula Turgeon, Sarah Harrington, Mike Turner, Norma Comia, immediately! Interestingly enough, Jesus was aware Margarita Qualle, Olive Stanley, Marlene Slate, Osbaldo Toledo, Jun Cruz, Fay Harrington, Ralph Knappa, Erlinda Mariado, that someone had touched him! His response might Marge Kube, John King, Judy Kiplinger, Mary Kramer, Lantz Claudill, Mary Szalach, Suzi North Sheehan, Aurora Young, have sounded rude but Jesus surely wanted to know Val Kandis, Angelita V. Cruz, Nikole Zabataite, Robby Comia, Hel- what kind of a person with such great faith that had en Allen, Michael Kmetz, Marianna Gable, Dick Guevin, Thomas DeNio, Vanessa Miner, Joy Solmerano, Jodi Lee, touched him! Jesus later officially confirms her faith Angel Rindfleisch, Joel Cossette, Jan & Roger Kilb, Pat Byrne, Teresita Mendez-Ozabal, Julie Allen, Tim Helmstetter, Joel Rivera, and healing, “Daughter your faith has saved you...Go Marlene Games, Rose Sunderland, Perry Francisco, Frank Moore, Carlos Gonzalez, Mary Tibbetts, Bobbi Drewiske, Helen Newby, in peace.” The same words of Jesus brought back life Roger & Bellie Guerrero, Harry & Nancy Tennin, Peiro DelValle, The Whitesell Family, Tim Fitzgerald, Ryan Kmetz, Renee Britton, to the young girl, “Little girl, I say to you, arise!” Alma Deguzman, Robert Ozabal, Brian Ozabal, Medy Mendez, Jesus is telling us the same words today, “Do Paula Dellulo, Josepha Oller-Chapa, Randy Beals, Marilyn Briggs, Mark Oller-Red, Roberta Bernardini, Darrell Satturfield, not be afraid, just have faith.” Amen. Fr. Charles Breindel, Teresa Delostrinos, Henrietta Mayr, Oralia Rodriguez, Patricia MacCartney, Jack Mackenzie, Liz Mackenzie, Crispin Guzman Sr. ……………………………………………………………………………... Please pray for the repose of the souls of Matthew Galdo, son of Ed Malana, Edward Wisniewski, brother of Doris McLaughlin, Michael P. Coco, brother of Carol Lilla Let perpetual light shine upon them; may they rest in peace! Please keep the members of these families in your prayers.
