WUPIN KAIALGUMM AWARD
This award was inaugurated in 2014. Translated from Yugambeh language, the words, Wupin Kaialgumm, mean clever chief. The award acknowledges the efforts of an indigenous student selected from Year 10, 11 or 12 who has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities and dedication, within the College’s Indigenous mentoring program and in the wider school community.

GRIFFITH UNIVERSITY SPORTS EXCELLENCE AWARD
Of those students nominated for major sporting awards, a Year 10-12 who has displayed outstanding sporting achievement in internal and external school sporting programs and has shown exemplary conduct and attitude both on and off the field, as well as demonstrating strong leadership skills and being an excellent role model.
PERFORMING MUSIC ARTIST OF THE YEAR AWARD
