The accompanying adult should maintain a constant watch over any children in their care in both the pool and changing areas, and should remain in close contact with weak/non-swimmers. Children aged 8 and over may swim unaccompanied, however parents should only permit this if they are satisfied that their child is physically able to manage this. Parents should take into account their child’s swimming ability, maturity, confidence and general common sense before allowing their child to swim unaccompanied. Our lifeguards on duty will advise any weak/non-swimmers on which parts of the pool they may use. Where the above conditions have not been met, we reserve the right to refuse entry.
