V Number and Magnitude.—^The number of disputes involving workpeople, was in support of workers involved in another stoppages of work, reported to the Department as beginning in dispute. 0 - Great Britain and Northern Ireland during January, was 73, Results.—Final settlements of disputes which terminated as compared with 87 in the previous month and 57 in January, during January have been effected in the case of 60 disputes, 1942. In these 73 new disputes about 14,100 workpeople were directly involving 12,200 workpeople.
