On Thursday was married, at Wilton, Christopher Ingram, Esq. of Upton Lovel, to Moss Geary, of Wilton, daughter of the late Mr Andrew Geary, of Milford, near this city.

On Monday the 9th inst. was married at Stroud, in the county of Gloucester, by the Rev. John Williams, D. D. Mr John Penny, of Upton Lovell, in this county, to Harriet, daughter of the late Mr Christopher Hinwood, of St. Mary.

Married – On Monday July 1, at Upton Lovell, Wilts, by the Rev. Vaughan, John Ingram, esq., to Elizabeth Sayer, widow of Mr Sayer, of Portsmouth, and daughter of the late Mr Thomas Hale, of Coombe, Wilts.

Married, March 20, at Upton Lovell, by the Rev. John Vaughan, LL.B, Rector, Jane, fourth dau. Of Mr James Smith, of that place, to Mr Samuel Wm. Worssam, second son of Mr John Worssam, timber-merchant, late of Wellington Wharf, London. Shortly after the ceremony the happy couple bade a farewell to their assembled friends, and proceeded en route to Bristol, having previously engaged a berth in that fine ship the “Arabian” destined for Australia.

DEATHS

On the 16th inst. Died the Rev. John Crouch, Rector of Upton-Lovel, aged 69 years.

On Sunday the 31st ult. died, in the 57th year of her age, Dionesia, the wife of Mr John Raxworthy, of Upton Lovell, in this county.

On the 17th inst. died, at an advanced age, Christopher Ingram, Esq. of Upton Lovel, in this county.

Died, on Wednesday last, at Upton Lovell, in the 64th year of his age, Mr Roger Rebbeck, only surviving son of the late Thomas Rebbeck, of Knook, for many years distributor of the Salisbury and Winchester Journal and the Bath Chronicle.

Died, on the 1st inst., after a long and lingering illness, Mr James Smith, of Upton Lovell, Wilts, farmer, in his 67th year, leaving a wife and twelve children to lament their loss. Surrounded by several members of his family, he quietly and calmly resigned his spirit into the hands of Him who gave it. He was highly respected and esteemed by all who knew him.
