SEASON TEAM INFORMATION WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF ENDURANCE – WELCOME TO THE Endurance racing for GT- and Touring cars, on three continents

Born with the 24H DUBAI in 2006, the 24H SERIES has established itself in the world of endurance racing as the prime platform for amateur endurance racers with GT- and Touring car machinery. Mainly focused on Bronze and Silver-rated drivers, the Series welcomes Gold and Platinum drivers as well, though they have to play along the rules focused at the Amateur driver.

Multiclass-racing is excelled at its best in the 24H SERIES, showcasing official GT3, GT4, Porsche 991 Cup and TCR classes, as well as open classes for special GT and Touring cars. The 2020 season offers two separate series; the 24H SERIES EUROPE and the 24H SERIES CONTINENTS. The 24H SERIES Europe takes place on the some of the finest circuits in Europe, with a mix of races between 9 and 24 hours. The 24H BARCELONA mark the highlight of the European Championship with its 22nd edition in 2020.

The 24H SERIES CONTINENTS is hosted with four 24-hour races, on three separate continents. Spearheaded by the “desert-classis” 24H DUBAi in January, the 24H PORTIMAO, 24H BARCELONA and 24H COTA USA round off the three-continents championship, that on a side note also marks the only global championship of the widely popular GT4-category. All races are broadcasted live.

Promoted by the Dutch Agency CREVENTIC, the 24H SERIES stand for the following principles: Exciting race tracks, fun competition, high service quality and of course long distance races. #thisisendurance

Championship information 24H SERIES Europe This year’s European championship features 6 races on current F1 circuits. With this calendar we hope to please our drivers. We think that having some of the best circuits in the world on our calendar is what drivers would like to see. In 2020 we will see teams fight for the championship across all classes. We are looking for- ward to see some fair and competitive racing this year! 24H SERIES Continents For the Championship of the Continents we also choose 4 legendary circuits, this championship is based on 4 races across three different continents. The best result of the two 24-hour races in Europe will count towards the championship. • Asia • Europe • North America

The team with the best results in these races across these continents can name themselves Champion of the 24H SERIES Continents!

In both the 24H SERIES EUROPE and 24H SERIES CONTINENTS there will be the following rankings in the GT & TCE Divisions: Drivers • Drivers ranking per class • Drivers ranking overall • Ladies Cup ranking • Junior Cup ranking (24 years or younger in the entire calendar year of 2020)

Drivers • Teams ranking per class • Teams ranking overall

Season team information powered by 4 Conditions to be eligible in the championships 60% lap rule Only competitors (teams and drivers), which have achieved a minimum of 60% of the laps of the specific class leader will be classified and only these teams will be awarded with points. Minimum driving time For a driver, to be awarded with points, a driver needs to have driven at least: • Minimum 30 minutes at <10H race • Minimum 1 hour at 10-12H race • Minimum 2 hours at 24H race

In case a team retires and a driver has not yet driven the above specified minimum driving time, he or she will not gain points. 24H SERIES Europe eligibility To be eligible for the 24H SERIES EUROPE title, a team or driver needs to participate a minimum of 2 (two) races, of this championship. For this championship there is one scratch result. The scratch result is the race with the lowest number of points achieved OR a race that the team/driver has not participated in.

There will be one scratch result for each race, meaning: • That the best 5 results from 6 rounds are taken into account for the GT-Division • That the best 4 results from 5 rounds are taken into account for the TCE-Division (12H SPA is a non-championship race for the TCE-Division & TCR cars are not allowed in this event) 24H SERIES Continents eligibility To be eligible for the 24H SERIES CONTINENTS title, a team or driver needs to participate in all continents (Asia, Europe & North-America). If a team or driver misses out any applicable continent, he or she is not eligible for the championship.

The races (rounds) that will count towards the 24H SERIES CONTINENTS title will be: • Hankook 24H DUBAI • Hankook 24H PORTIMAO or Hankook 24H BARCELONA • Hankook 24H COTA USA Drivers driving on 2 cars in the same race In case a driver is driving on 2 cars within the same division, the car which is notified at the administrative checks to the organiser until 30 minutes before the start of the free practice will be taken into consideration for the classification (points) of the driver.

Season team information powered by 18 Trees for the future Plant one tree for every lap completed in the 2020 season Threes for the future is planting trees and changing lives through their regenerative agriculture approach. Through the last 30 years, they have planted 170 million trees across the developing world in order to seques- ter carbon, revitalize land, and benefit the farmers planting them. Learn more at trees.org

CREVENTIC flexes its green fingers as part of a new partnership with the charitable organisation, and pledges to plant one tree for every lap completed by every car during the upcoming season.

CREVENTIC is pleased to announce a brand new partnership with the charitable organisation Trees for the Future (TREES) for 2020 and beyond.

As part of a renewed drive to offset its carbon footprint, CREVENTIC will work together with TREES in 2020 to plant one tree for every lap completed by every car during a 24H SERIES powered by Hankook event, start- ing with the 15th edition of the Hankook 24H DUBAI on 9-10-11 January 2020.

In 2019, the 75-grid of GT and TCE cars completed a collective total of 33,485 laps, a modest return given the 42,811 completed by the field at the event in 2018, the 40,245 in 2017, and 43,074 in 2016. Even so, calcu- lations suggest one tree planted for every lap completed in 2019 would compensate more than twice of the complete fuel consumption for the event.

With a field of 70+ well on the way to being realized for Dubai in 2020, and with seven rounds of the 24H SERIES scheduled next year, CREVENTIC is confident the new partnership will quickly bear fruit.

“We’re very pleased to announce our new partnership with Trees for the Future,” explains CREVENTIC’s Ole Dörlemann. “As the 24H SERIES continues to grow, we feel it’s important to take a more active role in our environmental responsibility, and we’re very proud to be one of the first motorsport organizations actively invested in compensating its environmental footprint. We’re confident this is an example other organisations will follow.”

The Dutch promoter also welcomes the TREES initiative as another way motorsport can further improve effi- ciency in the motoring world.

“For many brands, the direct correlation between motor racing and automotive engineering has produced technological innovation that has made the industry more sustainable and more efficient,” Ole continues. “In the 24H SERIES, our SP4 ‘Special Prototype’ class has allowed vehicles to compete as either EVs or with alternative fuels as part of their development process. So, rather than scapegoating motor racing, we feel this program is a vital way for us to give something back.”

Species planted throughout the year would include fast-growing trees, thorny trees and fruit trees as each region dictates, and would thereafter be cared for by farmers to whom the land belongs.

CREVENTIC would also welcome any support from its competitors, should teams racing wish to double our collective efforts and plant another tree for every lap their car completes at any 24H SERIES event in 2020.
