Mission Statement The Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe seeks to be self- sufficient and to provide quality governmental programs and services to address the unique social, cultural, natural resource and economic needs of our people. Ron Allen WecontinuetoaddservicesforourTribalcitizens,madepossibleby thesuccessofourTribalbusinesses–7CedarsResortandCasino,The CedarsatDungenessGolfCourseandDoubleEagleRestaurant,Jamestown Excavating,JamestownHomeBuilding,JamestownConstruction,Northwest NativeExpressionsGallery,JamestownFamilyHealthClinic,Jamestown DentalClinicandJamestownHealthandMedicalSupplyCompany. Oureducationalprogramsprepareandmaintainahealthy,employable, Liz Mueller selfreliantTribalpopulation. WeareamajoremployerinClallamCounty,contributingpositivelyto thestandardoflivingofhundredsoffamilies.TheTribalgovernment currentlyemploysapproximately160,andourTribalbusinessesemployan additional425people. Weplayakeyroleatthelocal,regional,nationalandinternational levelsintermsofpoliciesthatimpactNativeAmericans,rangingfrom naturalresourcestohealthcare,fromeducationtotreatyrights. InthebeginningofhiscareerontheTribalCouncilin1974,Allendidn’tyetrecognizehow histalents,skillsandgiftsmightfitintothejobthatawaitedhim.Hedescribesitas“an unfolding”ofwhatwasrequired,andofwhathecouldbringtotheequation.
