Our Carmarthen campus is a lively, friendly environment, centred around its original 1848 building.

The Wales Coast Path runs through this magnificent green site that includes a mountain bike skills area, pump track, bushcraft area, campsite and Forest School. There is also direct access for the River Towy. It is home to a huge wildlife area and, with support from the Woodland Trust, nearly 1,000 trees have been planted on the site.

I'm not a fan of big crowds so the size of the campus was perfect for me. My time here has been amazing and I've learnt so much. I've had so many opportunities as part of my course, from being able to look at medieval manuscripts in our archives within the first couple of weeks of starting my degree, to really specialised archaeology modules and fieldwork. My modules would not be as brilliant as they are without the excellent academic staff who will always help you if you are stuck. They have an open door policy, which means if the office door is open, you can go and see them with whatever issues you may have, whether it be academic or personal. I've thoughly enjoyed my time at Lampeter, so much so that I am likely to continue studying here as a postgraduate.
