At the request of the Association Executive, dates have been changed to Tuesday June 2 (6:00 pm) to Thursday, June 4, 2020. This is a shift of dates but more easily accommodates air travel schedules.

Sessions are planned to be held at the Lodge (401 Hawkins St.) and General Information and Forms are attached. Preliminary Schedule Information

The Conference will OPEN on Tuesday, June 2nd at 6:00 pm. Sessions on Wednesday and Thursday (morning) followed by Installation and the President’s Banquet and Ball Thursday evening. Sessions will be held at the Elks Lodge. GETTING HERE and WHERE TO STAY

AIR TRAVEL: Air North (Yukon’s Airways) is the Conference Host Airline offering direct flights between Calgary, Edmonton and Whitehorse and they will be offering 10% discount if you use the convention code when BOOKING. In addition, travellers 60+ are entitled to an additional 10% discount. (See website for more information)Air Canada flies to Whitehorse via Vancouver. During the summer, WestJet also flies direct from Calgary with connections from Edmonton. (MORE INFO on following page)

The Whitehorse International Airport is about a five minute drive from downtown. Transportation will be available for those who advise of their arrival and departure dates and times. Hotel Shuttles are also available and taxi expense to hotels downtown would be about $20.00

TRAVEL BY ROAD: Travel to Whitehorse by the Alaska Highway will require several days from the Edmonton area. There is accommodation all along the way, both hotel/motel and RV camping (private and government). It’s about 900 miles from Dawson Creek, B.C.

TRANSPORTATION: Shuttles will be available from hotels and RV parks as requested.

Air Canada has multiple flights from Edmonton and Calgary to Vancouver where you connect with flights to Whitehorse.
