INDIGENOUS RELATIONSHIPS: BUILDING A SHARED FUTURE

Since 1981, ATCO has been creating successful Indigenous partnerships throughout Northern and Alaska. Whenever we begin a project, we engage communities to learn about their unique needs and provide opportunities that meet those needs.

Partnerships are the most effective way of sharing benefits between ATCO and a community. By operating together, we share revenue, expertise and employees. From helping local businesses develop to providing them with contracting opportunities to participate in our projects, our economic partnerships currently extend to 29 Indigenous communities across Canada and Alaska.

Partnerships allow us to do more than just share in a project’s revenue. They also allow us to extend benefits including: • Employment • Education and skills training • On-the-job training • Procurement and subcontracting Frontec (Head Office) • Support for new Indigenous businesses 115 Peacekeepers Drive AB T3E 7X4
