Over 9 months Brad and Dave had a vision for what they wanted to achieve in this space and invested in long hours to build and develop their project while Renew Adelaide helped them work through the build- ing issues. In February 2014, Ancient World launched during the 2014 Adelaide Fringe Festival as a small bar showcasing a diverse range of Adelaide arts and music. Afer their initial success they have got a Small Venues licence and been able to grow establish themselves as something a little different within Adelaide’s growing small bar scene. They’re now transitioning into a sustainable business.

When an opportu- nity arose for them to open a retail space they developed a new single venture called The Town Local.
