In February 2014, Ancient World launched during the 2014 Adelaide Fringe Festival as a small bar showcasing a diverse range of Adelaide arts and music. Afer their initial success they have got a Small Venues licence and been able to grow establish themselves as something a little different within Adelaide’s growing small bar scene. They’re now transitioning into a sustainable business. As the project developed Kara made the decision to focus on her brand and Amy took on the sole operation of The Town Local.
