(040) 853 88 888 ∙ www.fkpscorpio.com PRESSEMITTEILUNG 09.12.2020 James Blunt verlegt Deutschlandtour erneut und gibt Konzerte für den Oktober 2021 bekannt Nachdem James Blunt seine ursprünglich für das Frühjahr 2020 geplante „Once Upon A Mind“-Tour durch Deutschland aus bekannten Gründen bereits zwei Mal verschieben musste, werden nun auch die für das Frühjahr 2021 geplanten Nachholtermine noch einmal verlegt. Im Zuge dessen fallen die Shows in Erfurt, Saarbrücken und Flensburg leider aus. Für alle anderen Konzerte konnten glücklicherweise neue Termine im Oktober 2021 gefunden werden. Alle bereits erworbenen Tickets behalten für Nachholtermine ihre Gültigkeit. Außerdem stehen neue Termine für die Open- Air-Sommershows des Briten fest. Hinzu kommt hier ein Konzert in Linz. Nicht nur der Auftritt in der Elbphilharmonie, sondern auch die ausgedehnte Deutschland-Tour des Briten waren zu dem Zeitpunkt bereits von den Veranstaltungsverboten der Gesundheitsbehörden betroffen, sodass James Blunt seine Tour in den Herbst verschieben musste. Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation muss der Musiker die für den Herbst geplanten Konzerte nun erneut verlegen. Umso mehr freuen wir uns, dass bereits Nachholtermine gefunden werden konnten und die Konzerte im Frühjahr 2021 mit einem neu hinzugekommenen Tourstopp in Saarbrücken stattfinden. James Blunt, der mit seinem Debüt-Album „Back To Bedlam“ vor nunmehr 16 Jahren zum Weltstar wurde und seitdem mit tiefgründigen Songs überzeugt und die Herzen der Fans mit seinem Charme verzückt, wird im April 2021 wieder die deutschen Konzerthallen füllen und sein Publikum mit seinen Entertainer-Qualitäten begeistern. Emily Roberts, die James Blunt Anfang des Jahres bereits begleiten sollte, wird auch im Frühjahr als Support dabei sein. Bereits erworbene Tickets behalten für die Nachholtermine ihre Gültigkeit. Doch auch der Weltstar bleibt von den aktuellen Auswirkungen des Corona-Virus nicht verschont. Sein letzter Auftritt war am 11. Dennoch entschloss sich James Blunt dazu, aufzutreten und das Konzert per Stream in die Welt zu senden. Ein Ersatz für die abgesagten Termine seiner „Once Upon A Mind“-Tour ist das jedoch nicht. Umso erfreulicher ist es nun, dass es rasch gelungen ist, alle Shows neu anzusetzen: Im September und Oktober kommt der Brite für zahlreiche Nachholtermine zu uns nach Deutschland. Als Support geht auch im Herbst Singer-Songwriterin Emily Roberts mit auf die Reise. Zwei zusätzliche Tour-Stopps legt James Blunt dabei in Flensburg und Erfurt ein! Nachdem er auf seinem letzten Album „The Afterlove“ mit elektronischen Klängen flirtete, kehrt James Blunt auf seinem neuen Album zu dem zurück, was er beherrscht wie kaum ein anderer: Zeitlose Songs schreiben, die Herz und Kopf gleichermaßen berühren.

    ARCHITECTURE Since its official opening on 11 January 2017, the Elbphilharmonie has come to be an absolute crowd-puller. Every year, some 4 million people visit the Plaza, the public viewing area between the building’s brick base and the glass superstructure. The Plaza offers a superb panoramic view of the harbour and the city, and entry is free of charge. It is also home to the Elbphilharmonie Shop and to the Smart Table, where visitors can explore the Elbphilharmonie interactively. A good 675 concerts per season – most of them sold A SPECTACULAR GESAMTKUNSTWERK out – lure some 900,000 enthusiastic music lovers to the Elbphilharmonie. More than THE ELBPHILHARMONIE. MORE THAN JUST A CONCERT HALL 80,000 visitors a year take part in the official guided tours, which include the foyer areas and the two concert halls. The Elbphilharmonie Hamburg is positioned between the industrial harbour and the city centre and is regarded worldwide as Hamburg’s landmark. The spectacular, 110-metre- high glass facade rises up like a wave of glass, and literally seems to hover above the rugged brick base of the historic quayside warehouse. The concert hall was designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron and is located in the flow of the River Elbe at the western point of the HafenCity Hamburg, opposite the Landungsbrücken piers and in close proximity to the Speicherstadt, Kontorhausviertel and Chilehaus UNESCO World Heritage Site. With 2,100 seats, the Grand Hall is the true centrepiece of the Elbphilharmonie. The seats rise in a steep incline to encircle the stage for an entirely new music experience, rooted in acoustic perfection and an unprecedented closeness between artists and concertgoers.

The design keyword of the Grosser Saal is "intimacy". Because of the size of the Grosser Saal, the question of how to make the audience feel "not distant" from the performers became the most important theme of the design work. When Nagata Acoustics joined the design team, the project had already decided that the basic shape of the Grosser Saal would no be the "shoebox" configuration, but instead would use the so-called "vineyard" configuration to seat the audience as close to the stage as possible. In order to achieve acoustical intimacy, the design solution involved creating small groups of audience seats and designing effective, sound-reflecting wall surfaces for every group of audience seating. he architect favored the seashell motif microshaping 3 3 for the diffusing surface pattern, which were usually expected to create soft sound reflections. They were also used to eliminate the long path echoes.
