Oyster Conditions of Use on National Rail Services
Conditions of Use on National Rail services 1 October 2015 until further notice 1. Introduction 1.1. These conditions of use (“Conditions of Use”) set out your rights and obligations when using an Oyster card to travel on National Rail services. They apply in addition to the conditions set out in the National Rail Conditions of Carriage, which you can view and download from the National Rail website nationalrail.co.uk/nrcoc. Where these Conditions of Use differ from the National Rail Conditions of Carriage, these Conditions of Use take precedence when you are using your Oyster card. 1.2 When travelling on National Rail services, you will also have to comply with the Railway Byelaws. You can a get free copy of these at most staffed National Rail stations, or download a copy from the Department for Transport website dft.gov.uk. 1.3 All Train Companies operating services into the London Fare Zones Area accept valid Travelcards issued on Oyster cards, except Heathrow Express and Southeastern High Speed services between London St Pancras International and Stratford International. Neighbourhood Governance Note of Ealing Broadway Ward Forum Meeting ______________________________________________________________________________________ Ealing Broadway Ward Forum meeting – held at 8pm until 9.30pm on Wednesday 8 October 2008 in the hall of St Stephen’s Church Centre, W5. Present: Councillors Young (Chairman), Potts and Scott Attendees: over 83 people attended with 65 people signing the attendance sheet. Note taker: Evelyn Gloyn (EG) - Neighbourhood Co-ordinator South Item Notes Actions/Information 1/2 Chairman’s Introduction and the Role of the Ward Forums People were offered light refreshments as they arrived and the meeting started promptly at 8 pm in the hall of St Stephen’s Church Centre. Councillor Anthony Young (Chairman) opened the meeting with introductions and explained the purpose of ward forums; the old area committees had been reviewed and were not effective as few attended. Ward forums were proposed in their place. Their purpose is so people could find out more about what is happening in their local and their concerns about the local (ward) area could be raised; and they could also discuss how they would like to spend £40,000 within the ward on capital projects. TREC Section 4: Acton Town Station/Gunnersbury Park to Boston Manor Station (Optional Extension to Ealing Broadway)
TREC Section 4: Acton Town Station/Gunnersbury Park to Boston Manor Station (optional extension to Ealing Broadway). Distance: 8.4 km (5.4 miles). Public Transport: Section 4 starts at Acton Town Underground Station (District and Piccadilly lines), finishing at Boston Manor Underground Station (Piccadilly Line). There is an optional exit en route at Brentford Station or an optional 3.7 km (2.3 miles) extension from Boston Manor to Ealing Broadway Station (using part of the TREC Section 1 route). Surface and Terrain: The first half of the route is along level paths, including through parks: Gunnersbury and Carville Hall Park South; however the section along the Thames Path and the River Brent/Grand Union Canal Walk does involve some steps (an alternative route avoiding the steps is suggested); the route eventually reaches Boston Manor Park and Station. Refreshments: Acton Town Station; Gunnersbury Park Café; Brentford High Street (near Brentford Lock); Boston Manor Park Café (seasonal), Boston Manor Station and shops nearby. Covid-19 restrictions: Check availability of refreshments and toilets before your walk. Public Toilets: Acton Town Station (charge); Gunnersbury Park; Boston Manor Park Café (seasonal). The route starts from south-west Acton, one of the seven towns of the London Borough of Ealing, Acton means "oak farm" or "farm by oak trees". This final section of TREC does stray into the north east of the London Borough of Hounslow going through parts of old Brentford, however as this was historically part of the Parish of Ealing when it did extend to the River Thames we think it’s appropriate to include in TREC. -

Marcus Clements Head of Consumer Policy Rail Markets and Economics Email: 08 March 2021 Julian Drury Managing Director c2c By Email Dear Julian, Approval of Trenitalia c2c Limited’s (c2c’s) Accessible Travel Policy (Condition 5 of the Station Licence and GB Statement of National Regulatory Conditions: Passenger) Thank you for submitting c2c’s revised Accessible Travel Policy (ATP) for approval. We have reviewed the ATP against the September 2020 “Accessible Travel Policy Guidance for Train and Station Operators” (the guidance). I can confirm that c2c’s ATP now meets the requirements of Condition 5 of its station licence and GB Statement of National Regulatory Conditions: Passenger (SNRP). When I last wrote to you on 27 August 2020, confirming the approval of your previous ATP, I asked for further details of c2c’s disability awareness training package, and updates on progress towards meeting WCAG standards for website accessibility. This information has now been provided. I shall be grateful for ongoing updates on these two issues during the ATP Quarterly meetings we plan to hold throughout 2021. I also referred to the provision of assistance at stations where ticket office hours were reduced. We will continue to keep the provision of unbooked assistance under review to ensure that, when passenger numbers increase, waiting times remain within reasonable parameters. Please provide a branded version of all ATP documents by 5 April 2021. A copy of the approved ATP will then be published on our website along with a copy of this letter. As you are aware, ATPs must be reviewed by operators on an annual basis.
