Cap Roig Festival Postpones Its 2020 Edition and Announces the First Dates for 2021
Due to the current health crisis caused by covid-19 CAP ROIG FESTIVAL POSTPONES ITS 2020 EDITION AND ANNOUNCES THE FIRST DATES FOR 2021 • The following concerts have been rescheduled for the summer of 2021: Pablo López, Els Amics de les Arts, Maestro, Supertramp's Roger Hodgson, Estopa, Ara Malikian, Sergio Dalma, El Pot Petit (Cap Roig mini), Blaumut, David Bisbal, Mag Lari (Cap Roig mini), Morat and Antonio José. People who had already purchased their tickets can keep them or request for a reimbursement if wished. • The following concerts have been cancelled: The Lumineers, Yann Tiersen, Lionel Richie, Mika, Gilberto Gil-Nos a Gente, Herbie Hancock, Juan Diego Flórez, Andrea Bocelli, Travis, Aitana and Julio Iglesias. All tickets will be reimbursed in in the next 48 hours. Barcelona, 11th June 2020. Cap Roig Festival, organized by Clipper’s Live with the support of CaixaBank, postpones its twentieth edition initially planned to be held from 10th July to 22nd August 2020, to 2021, under the extraordinary circumstances caused by the COVID-19 health crisis. For the past weeks Clipper’s Live management, has been studying the viability and different possibilities of adapting the Festival to the new measures established and which affect the celebration of cultural events, taking finally the decision to postpone this year’s edition as evidence of the commitment and responsibility of the organization towards the health of the attendants, artists and different teams involved in this musical event, and following the recommendations of health authorities. Cap Roig, one of the most relevant Festivals of South Europe, will bet again in 2021 on the most outstanding national and international artists, with the aim of continuing to support the cultural activity, dynamize the economy and generate a positive impact in the territory.
