Objective of the workshop

This is the sixth of a series of international workshops introducing three clusters from the BESTFACT project: urban freight, green logistics and co-modality and e-Freight. This workshop focus purely on the cluster e-Freight.

The general nature of the workshop is to provide access, room for discussion and information exchange to different groups of interest with regard to the subjects covered in this cluster on e- Freight. In this way, the transferability of different cases is promoted and better coordination between industrial and administrative stakeholders is achieved. It will also serve as the basis to identify best practices and to promote their transferability.

Who will you meet?

The workshop intends to bring together different types of expertise regarding freight solutions, covering both the public and private spectrum. More specifically, the workshop attendees will be from the public sector (e.g. governmental representatives, urban planners and transport associations) and the industry (e.g. shippers, transport companies, logistics providers and researchers).

Registration

There is no attendance fee for all the activities of the BESTFACT workshop, nevertheless due to participants’ number limitation, registration is necessary.

In the provided registration form, participants are advised to confirm whether they will be attending both or only one of the two days of the workshop, the dinner and the technical visit (at day 2).
